2000 Nissan Xterra XE 3.3 V6 engine Automatic trans Working part time 4wd w/ low gear Runs, drives, and just passed NY state safety and emissions inspection a couple of weeks ago. Clean title in hand. The Good: Runs and drives very well. All of the following have been replaced in the last 20,000 miles: Timing belt, water pump, fan clutch, radioator and all hoses, all drive belts, front brake pads and rotors, power steering pump, exhaust from the converter back, distributor, spark plugs and wires, and battery. It has been extermely reliable. All 4 tires match: Cooper discoverer h/t with at least 70% treadlife on them. Power mirrors, locks, and windows which all work. I was communiting 50 miles a day with it until the past week. Never had any issues. The Bad: Needs 2 rear shocks, rear brakes (drums), and no working air conditioning due to leaking a/c system. If you re-charge it, it will work but loses the fluid quickly. 238,000 miles on the odometer. Sold as is. |

MI man injured in crazy Nissan Titan crash caught on video
Tue, 20 Aug 2013Earlier today, a man from Kentwood, Michigan was seriously injured after a bizarre accident on Interstate 96 outside of Lansing. While he's expected to make a full recovery, it's the footage captured by another driver that makes this incident so remarkable.
The 59-year-old driver of the Nissan Titan involved in the crash was towing a trailer when he hit the median and was catapulted over a guardrail into a local creek. A driver that was traveling alongside caught the entire incident on Vine, creating a disturbing loop of the truck flying through the air, before disappearing from view.
The man was recovered by rescue services, taken to a hospital, and is expected to make a full recovery. It's unclear what caused him to lose control and end up on the median. Scroll down for the six-second Vine video.

2014 Nissan GT-R Track Pack squares off against Audi R8 V10 Plus
Wed, 22 May 2013The team over at Motor Trend has pitted the new Audi R8 V10 Plus against the Nissan GT-R. While both of the bright red all-wheel-drive supercars are comparably matched in power output, the similarities end there. Audi offers a mid-engine aluminum coupe with a naturally aspirated V10 that spits out 550 horsepower. Nissan shows up with a more traditional coupe equipped with a 545-horsepower twin-turbocharged V6 at the front of the car.
The Head-to-Head video takes both cars to the Streets of Willow Springs in the California desert for some track work with professional racing driver Randy Pobst behind the wheel. After a day at the track, the pair head to the local mountains for some spirited real-world driving. One dominates on the circuit, while the other earns back its credibility in the canyons. We won't tell you which coupe comes out on top, but we think you may be surprised. Follow the link below to watch for yourself.
