I bought this new in 2005 (2004 model year) and since then I have put 18,200 miles on the truck.  I am only selling it because I don't use it enough to justify keeping it.  Last week I put new tires on the truck because after 8 years the original tires like all tires must be replaced due to age.  So I just had new tires and an alignment done.  Within the past few months I also replaced the battery.  These are normal type replacements after 8 years.

The truck has the factory 4x4 off road package with the special shocks and all that.  Also there is a factory bed liner, bed rails and tie-downs, and a factory tow hitch and package.

This is the model with extended cab, back seats and doors that open opposite of the main doors so there is no pillar in the way when you have both doors open.

The paint is very good and the interior is very good.  The engine and transmission have never given me any problems.

There are 2 minor dents that do not affect the paint and I think that a Paintless Dent Repair guy could probably take care of them if they bother you.

Priced to sell at $16,000!

Please ask any and all questions before bidding.

Watch this mobility scooter drag race a Nissan Skyline with surprising results

Fri, 19 Jul 2013

Okay, so we may not be talking about a classic, all-conquering Nissan Skyline GT-R here. But the sub-Godzilla-trim Nissan Skyline GTS-T is still a car, after all. And, as a car, if someone asked you to lay a bet on it versus a mobility scooter (Hoveround, Rascal, you know the type) in a drag race, you'd probably take that action.
Unless, of course, that drag race were happening on YouTube, in which case you'd put your money away and open up your laptop. On the Internet it's best to never bet against the wild underdog.
We don't mean to spoil the following video for you, but come on. When you saw Skyline vs. Scooter in that headline, you had a pretty good idea of what was to come, didn't you. Needless to say, mobility scooters fitted with Suzuki GSX-600F engines are pretty quick. Strap in and scroll down.

Nissan recalling 841k vehicles overseas for steering wheel trouble

Sat, 25 May 2013

A possible issue with a steering wheel bolt in the Nissan Micra (shown) and Cube from the 2002 to 2006 model years has Nissan recalling roughly 841,000 units on four continents, as well as Oceania and the Middle East. On the affected cars, the bolt may not have been tightened properly, which could lead to a loss of steering in a worst-case scenario. According to Reuters, there haven't been any reports of accidents or injuries due to the fault, however.
The Micras affected were built in the UK and Japan, the Cubes in Japan. Nissan has yet to say when the recall will begin, but when it does, owners can take their cars to dealers for repairs; the bolt with either be tightened or, if necessary, a new steering wheel installed.

Nissan working on something radical for Le Mans

Tue, 17 Dec 2013

With Porsche joining Audi and Toyota at the front of the LMP1 grid at Le Mans next year, Nissan is the next to be throwing its hat (and considerable R&D budget) into the proverbial ring. But only if it's allowed to do something radically different, according to the latest report in Car magazine.
Just what that means remains to be seen, but Nissan is reportedly in active discussions with the ACO (the body that governs the race) to see how far it can stretch the regulations. The ACO has taken an intriguingly different approach to equalizing performance, mandating the maximum amount of energy that can be used per lap instead of telling teams what kind of engines they can use. That's how Porsche is entering with a four-cylinder engine, Toyota with a V8 and Audi with a diesel six. But when it comes to the shape of the car itself, the rules are considerably more restrictive.
Unfortunately the rules would prohibit Nissan fielding the ZEOD RC (with its narrow front track) in the LMP1 class, relegating it instead to the Garage 56 slot for experimental racers (which the DeltaWing filled before). And the realities of endurance racing would effectively prohibit anyone from fielding an all-electric racer. Within those confines, though, Nissan is eager to find enough wiggle room to make something both visually and technically different from other LMPs. And if the ACO won't let it do so at Le Mans, it could turn to another race or series (like the Nürburgring 24) that would.
