For sale is a 2004 Nissan Titan King Cab LE 4x4 pickup truck.  I bought this truck in March of 2010 off an eBay auction and have used it regularly without any issues or concerns.  I have put about 50,000 miles on this truck in the time I have owned it.  Loaded with almost all the options, this truck has a leather interior, dual heated power seats, built in navigation, 6 CD changer, auxiliary input for MP3 player.  4 wheel drive, tow package, off road package, lined bed, sonar reverse feature (beeps distance when backing up), rack, and sliding rails in the bed make this truck very versatile and useful.  It has been a joy to own and drive this truck, especially with the luxurious features on the interior and practical performance/exterior options.  However it is time for something different and so here it is for sale!

I am selling this truck AS IS condition.  Some notes regarding the truck as I have used/noticed/fixed in my time with it:

·        Overall the interior is in good condition.  Steering wheel looks well used but seems to be a common problem with Nissan Titans (from what I have seen).

·        The body is fair, with some dings and scrapes that have accumulated through the years.  Minor ding on hood.  Paint chipping along front grill as well.  Some surface scratches are also present along driver and passenger side and tailgate areas.  Most of these I believe can be buffed out.

·        Tires are excellent heavy duty tires, were replaced last summer.  Less than 3,000 miles have been put on these tires.  Spare tire is included, secured under bed.

I have tried my best to be accurate and honest with this listing.  Any questions please let me know ahead of the end of auction.  I reserve the right to end the auction at any time as this truck is listed for sale locally.  Shipping is responsibility of the buyer.

From Edmunds:

With a stout V8, roomy interior and loads of innovative and useful features, the 2004 Nissan Titan is a competitive full-size that every truck buyer should consider.

Pros

Powerful standard V8, smooth-riding suspension, spacious cabin with high-grade materials, innovative design features, available stability control and side airbags.

Cons

Limited drivetrain and body style choices, no heavy-duty models.

What's New for 2004

The 2004 Nissan Titan is an all-new full-size truck. It was designed to compete head-on with the best-selling half-ton trucks from Ford, GM and Dodge.

FCA-Renault revival may hinge on willingness to cut Nissan stake

Mon, Jun 10 2019

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Renault are looking for ways to resuscitate their collapsed merger plan and secure the approval of the French carmaker's alliance partner Nissan, according to several sources close to the companies. Nissan is poised to urge Renault to significantly reduce its 43.4% stake in the Japanese company in return for supporting a FCA-Renault tie-up, two people with knowledge of its thinking also told Reuters. It is still far from clear whether any concerted effort to revive the complex and politically fraught deal can succeed. FCA Chairman John Elkann abruptly withdrew his $35 billion merger offer in the early hours of June 6 after the French government, Renault's biggest shareholder, blocked a vote by its board and demanded more time to win Nissan's backing. Nissan representatives had said they would abstain. The failure, which FCA and Renault blamed squarely on the French government, deprived both companies of an opportunity to create the world's third-biggest carmaker with 5 billion euros ($5.6 billion) in promised annual synergies. It also shone a harsh light on Renault's relations with Nissan, which have gone from frayed to fried since the November arrest of former alliance Chairman Carlos Ghosn, now awaiting trial in Japan on financial misconduct charges he denies. REVIVAL TALKS Italian-American FCA — whose brand stable encompasses Fiat runabouts, Jeep SUVs, RAM pickups, Alfa Romeo luxury cars and Maserati sports cars — has so far turned a deaf ear to suggestions by French officials that its merger proposal could be revisited. But since the breakdown, Elkann and his French counterpart Jean-Dominique Senard have had talks about reviving the plan that left the Renault chairman and his Chief Executive Thierry Bollore upbeat about that prospect, three alliance sources said. Renault and a spokesman for FCA declined to comment. One of Elkann's senior advisors on the Renault merger bid, Toby Myerson, was expected at Nissan headquarters in Yokohama on Monday for exploratory discussions with top management, two people with knowledge of the matter said. Nissan CEO Hiroto Saikawa is likely to attend. Myerson did not respond to a message from Reuters seeking comment. The meeting comes amid mounting strains that may preclude compromise, after Senard warned Saikawa that Renault was prepared to block key Nissan governance reforms in a dispute over board committees.

These 'blind' automotive world record stunts have to stop

Wed, Dec 7 2016

Drivers setting world records "blind" – wearing a blindfold or with something obscuring the windshield – is the new thing for some reason. First it was an Alfa Romeo Giulia setting a blind lap at Silverstone with help from a spotter trailing behind, and now this: a stunt man doing a J-turn within a narrow path with nothing but a Nissan Juke's cameras guiding him. He matched the "sighted" J-turn record, flipping the car around in a space about 7 inches longer than the car. I have two issues with these stunts. First, there are just too many world records. Yeah, I said it. Are these meaningful? Is someone else likely to ever attempt this feat? No, because it's just marketing, both for the manufacturer and whoever's still trying to sell those annual books. Stuff like the fastest production car is fine with me. Heck, I'll even take unofficial Nurburgring times – the kind where the drivers can actually see. Second, I'm all for stunts, but do something cool! And preferably something that could only be performed with that particular car, if you're going to make an ad out of it. Yes, the Juke has an Around View Monitor system, which stitches together feeds from four cameras to make it look like the car is being filmed by a drone hovering overhead. I happen to love 360-degree cameras – they let you see things that are just not visible from the driver's seat and make parking and low-speed maneuvering really easy. But the Juke isn't the first car to offer one, and the feature isn't even new to the car. Nissan was at least forthright enough to admit that this professional driver (on a closed course!) had a bunch of practice. But this really says more about his precision driving skills than about the car, or the camera. And just so we're clear, you really shouldn't try to park a car without looking out the windows, even if you have fancy cameras. So what's next? Pretty soon there will be a record for blindest blind stunt. Let me know when someone actually does something interesting. Related Video:

Worker killed at Nissan Tennessee plant

Sat, 27 Apr 2013

A worker has died at the Nissan assembly plant in Smyrna, TN following an accident. According to The Detroit News, the tragedy happened Thursday and involved a large electric panel that fell while it was being moved. The victim was not a Nissan employee, he was a worker for Michigan-based supplier Complete Automation.
Nissan has not released the name of the deceased, but has vowed to cooperate with the authorities investigating the accident. The Murfreesboro Post notes that this is the second death at the plant in recent years - in 2012, a transport truck driver was killed after his rig rolled forward, crushing him between his cab and trailer.
