2005 Nissan Sentra Se-r Sedan 4-door 2.5l on 2040-cars
Chicago, Illinois, United States
Hello and welcome to the sale of my 2005 Nissan Sentra SE-R the car at the moment is still sitting in my garage and is turned on occassionally to keep internals lubricated oil changes AND maintainence was done regularly the car is a great car for anyone with a great sporty look and performance to back it up. The pictures posted are just for a quick sale due to the car is taking up space in the garage and need the space for a SUV the car will have a full detail cleaning prior to the purchaser pick up. Enjoy, the car is price fair, believe me your getting a great car. A standard rear spoiler, foglights, and 16-inch wheels let other drivers know that the 2005 Nissan Sentra SE-R is no ordinary economy compact sedan. The front-wheel drive, four-passenger car is easy on gas, but a lot more fun to drive than an economy car should be. A 2.5-liter, 165-hp, DOHC I4 engine and 4-speed automatic boost the power from the 1.8 models, and a stiffer suspension improves handling. Black Suede/ cloth interior trim carries the sporty theme inside as well. This 2005 Sentra SE-R include a trip computer, tachometer, CD player, full power setup, cruise control, dual front airbags, overhead and front consoles, and split-folding rear seats that open onto a 12 cubic foot trunk with stock rockford fosgate. Four-wheel disc brakes Include front-side airbags, a sunroof it still gets a decent 25/28 miles to the gallon with a sportier look some owners would like a sportier look. |

Nissan Leaf resale value expected to take a hit
Mon, 03 Jun 2013Nissan Leaf resale values may take a tumble, according to Kelley Blue Book. The vehicle evaluation resource said the 2013 Nissan Leaf will retain around 35 percent of its MSRP after three years; that's down five percent from what KBB gave the 2012 Leaf at the end of 2011. Automotive News reports KBB adjusted the EV's residual value prediction because the used transaction prices for the 2011 model have stuck around 35 percent for the past few months due to relatively cheap gasoline, not to mention the fact that Nissan trimmed the electric's MSRP from $36,050 to $29,650 before the $7,500 tax credit.
Since used buyers are often motivated by more practical buying concerns than early adopters or those wanting to curb their carbon emissions, they may not be willing to pay more for an EV. Meanwhile, early Leaf models are now coming to auction, abandoned by rental car companies after customers shunned them in favor of traditional internal-combustion vehicles. Many of those at auction have less than 10,000 miles and carry an average transaction price of just $13,700.
Jay Leno checks out Nissan IDx Nismo, spiritual successor to classic Datsun 510
Mon, 10 Mar 2014Jay Leno may not be spending his night behind the Tonight Show desk anymore, but he's clearly not done rolling precious metal into his garage, intent on putting it through its paces after a thorough investigation. The latest machine to meet Jay on his home turf is the Nissan IDx Nismo Concept that we first saw at the Tokyo Motor Show late last year.
Leno already has love for the classic Datsun 510, which plays a cameo in the video that you'll see below, and he refers to the IDx as the spiritual successor to that car's ethos - driving fun in an affordable package. Fortunately for us, while the IDx is a showcar first and foremost, it is indeed driveable, and Leno, naturally, takes his turn behind the wheel.

2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo priced from $149,990* [w/videos]
Wed, 05 Mar 2014Remember when they called the Nissan GT-R a supercar-slayer? You can drop the "slayer" part, because the Japanese brute known as Godzilla has long since grown from an ankle-biter nipping at the heels of giants to a giant in its own right. And if that's the case with the "basic" GT-R, it's certainly the case with the new GT-R Nismo.
While the base price for the GT-R has breached the six-figure mark, the Nismo version has just been priced ten bucks shy of $150k. Factor in the $1,595 destination charge and you're looking at a $151,585 sticker price. That may seem like a lot for a Nissan, but bear in mind what you're getting for all that scrap: the GT-R Nismo's 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 has been optimized to deliver 600 horsepower and 481 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels.
We've yet to see official performance stats, but considering that the base GT-R hits 60 in 2.6 seconds with 55 hp and 18 lb-ft less muscle, the Nismo version ought to teach a lesson or two to exotic supercars costing twice or even ten times as much. Just check it out in the videos and press release below.
