A fully equipped 2003 Nissan Pathfinder with clean, practically new black leather seating in front and rear. No tears, scratches, non-smoking, no pets vehicle. Sunroof, stereo, power windows that open via key fob so you can let air in on hot days, cruise control, power seats (both front), fold-down rear seats, TOW PACKAGE.

NEW BRAKES + ROTORS

The car recently had new brakes all the way around put on and new rotors all the way around (drums in back). Its a 4X4 with optional 2-wheel drive, 4X4, or auto select.

CONDITION

The condition of the car is overall a 9 out of 10. You probably won't find another Pathfinder in this condition: clean in and out. The car runs great but just the other day there was a scratching sound in the front right side. Just mentioning this because I don't know what it is but it could be a control arm, frozen caliper, or... well, I don't know but I'm mentioning it because that's what it is. The person that buys the car will be responsible for repairing whatever this noise is. Like I said, could be as simple as a control arm. There is also a small ding on the rear passenger door but I don't have a photo of it.

No specific reason why I'm selling. I've got two cars and I'm selling one to save money. Just gonna have one car.

What is the tire tread like?
Good condition. I don't expect that they'll need to be replaced for another few thousand miles or more. I'm not near the car right now...so I can't check it out right now.

Nissan recalls over 220k Altima sedans over hoods that could fly open

Fri, 10 Oct 2014

Nissan will be recalling 220,000 Altima sedans, according to a new recall bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Apparently, model year 2013 Altimas built between March 6, 2012 and February 28, 2013 are at risk of their hoods flying open at speed.
According to NHTSA, debris, corrosion and interference between the hood's inner panel and the secondary latch lever could bind the mechanism in the unlatched position. While this in itself won't cause the hood to fly open - there's still a primary latch that needs released from within the cabin - it presents a potentially dangerous situation should the primary latch be accidentally released.
Nissan will begin notifying owners of the affected vehicles, who will need to report to their local dealer for free repairs. Scroll down for the full bulletin from the government safety watchdog.

Nissan looking to expand UK plant to build Infiniti Q30

Thu, 22 Aug 2013

With the Infiniti Q30 concept heading to the Frankfurt Motor Show next month and a future premium compact model heading into production at Nissan's Sunderland UK assembly plant, just connecting the dots tells us this new small Infiniti is headed for UK production. Backing this up, Reuters is reporting that Nissan is looking to expand the Sunderland plant by 25,000 square feet, while Automotive News Europe takes it a step further by almost confirming that the Q30 will be built alongside the Nissan Qashqai and Note.
The reports say that Sunderland is already the UK's biggest automotive plant, but the expansion will make it even larger with production capacity expected to rise from the current 500,000 units built each year to more than 550,000. There is no indication if the expansion will bring more jobs to the plant, which already employs around 6,000 people.

Nissan ZEOD RC on track and from behind the wheel

Wed, 17 Sep 2014

The Nissan ZEOD RC hybrid racecar has had mixed success in its competition life. It was invented to do a completely electric, high-speed lap at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which it was able to do in practice. However, when the big event actually came, the car lasted less than an hour before it had to bow out with transmission issues. Nissan hasn't completely given up on its experiment, though. The experience (and possibly some of the tech) is going to help with the GT-R LM racer next year, and now the ZEOD is getting its chance to see how it handles the Top Gear test track.
Unfortunately, it's not The Stig piloting the ZEOD; instead, the magazine's motoring editor Ollie Marriage is the lucky man for the job. The car's sharp shape seems to be a good metaphor for how it handles because it just seems to dart around the track. Its tiny, turbocharged 1.5-liter engine with 400 horsepower and two electric motors put out a claimed 750 horsepower, and that seems like plenty for the relatively short Top Gear course.
As usual of Top Gear, the cinematography here is fantastic, and a second video shows off a single lap of the course from around the car. It's amazing to watch, especially with its big screen constantly showing the camera view out of the rear. Scroll down to see both.
