Excellent, reliable, solid vehicle for minimal bucks! Runs and drives excellent. Great vehicle for an extra car, a workhorse car, a beach car, or off-road vehicle. Could be a great first car for a young driver who needs reliable local transportation. Not recommended for long trip or long commutes due to high fuel consumption. Can carry up to 4 people comfortably but the 5th passenger is a squeeze in this vehicle. This vehicle has been driven lovingly first in CO then in MA for the past 10 years. It's got lots of room for carrying things. Back seats fold down to provide even more storage, or a bed for camping.
This vehicle has been sitting for a couple of years and has two problems which make it difficult to register in MA (where it's currently located) - rust has begun to creep up along the rocker panels and the very tip of the fenders. This is documented clearly in the pics. Second, the check engine light is on. Have no idea why but assume it must be something small, since the engine runs so well.
A good deal for someone in the right circumstances or situation. I'm happy to deliver this vehicle up to 300 miles or so, virtually anyplace in the Northeast. And I can deliver it beyond that for a few bucks more. Feel free to email me with your questions: ev.jerry@yahoo.com.

2014 Nissan Rogue earns IIHS Top Safety Pick+ [w/videos]
Thu, 20 Mar 2014The 2014 Nissan Rogue has scored a Top Safety Pick+ award following positive crash test results by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The new crossover scored good results (the highest rating) in the group's five crashworthiness checks and a basic rating for front crash prevention.
The IIHS found that the Rogue also performed well in its small overlap front test with a low risk of injuries, and the driver's space maintained its structure well. It was an improvement over the previous generation, which received a marginal rating in that evaluation. The Rogue's optional forward collision warning system was enough for a basic rating in avoiding accidents.
To qualify as a Top Safety Pick, a vehicle must earn good ratings in the the moderate overlap front, side, roof strength and head restraint evaluations, plus a good or acceptable result in the small overlap front test. To receive the additional Plus rating in 2014, it must also have a basic, advanced or superior rating for front crash prevention. The IIHS scores vehicles as good, acceptable, marginal or poor, and avoidance systems are scored basic, advanced or superior, depending on the type of system and its performance. Nissan-Renault mule teases mysterious subcompact
Tue, Sep 8 2015There's always something intriguing about a mystery, especially of the automotive kind, and that's exactly what we have here. Our spies recently spotted this Nissan-Renault test mule on the road in Southern Europe. But what, exactly, are they testing? From the front end, it's clear this mule started life as a Nissan Versa Note, but check it out in profile to see the cut down rear doors. They're significantly shorter than on the production car, and the wheelbase isn't as long here, either. The tacked on fender flares suggest a wider track than stock, too. Making things even more complicated is the bizarre cladding this subcompact hatch is wearing. The odd tumors on the hood and blistered side panels indicate that the automaker is trying to keep the design underneath a secret. Given Renault and Nissan's tight relationship, it also isn't clear which company is testing this model. While the body comes from the Note, this one is wearing French license plates. According to our spies, the vehicle was also spotted leaving a Renault testing location. There are some possibilities, though. Renault already has the new Twingo out, and the next-gen Megane has an imminent release. The French brand could now be at work on a future Clio. Alternatively, Nissan is reportedly using the Sway concept as inspiration for the upcoming Micra, and we could be getting a preview here. Give us your best guess in Comments. Related Video:
