UP FOR SALE A 2009 NISSAN MURANO SL AWD ONE OWNER BLACK WITH DARK TAN LEATHER INTERIOR. HIGH SCORE AUTOCHECK REPORT OF 89!

MECHANICALLY THE MURANO RUNS EXCELLENT WITH NO ISSUES, NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT OR ANY WARNING LIGHTS ON THE DASH. I PUT 150 MILES ON IT AND RUNS LIKE NEW. AC BLOWS COLD, THE PANOROOF AND BACKUP CAMERA WORKS GREAT, THE TIRES HAVE ABOUT 60% TREAD LEFT. NEW BRAKES WERE INSTALLED BY THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND THE CAR WILL STOP ON A DIME.

THE MURANO HAS 1 MINOR ACCIDENT BACK TO 08/17/2012 LIKE YOU WILL SEE IN AUTOCHECK REPORT, SOMETIMES AUTOCHECK DUPLICATE THE ACCIDENT BUT THERE IS ONLY ONE NOT 2.
THE DAMAGE WAS TO THE REAR RIGHT DOOR AND REAR RIGHT BUMPER AND NEXT TO IT WHICH THE OWNER DECIDED NOT TO FIX AND LEFT IT THE WAY IT IS. THE RIM IN THAT RIGHT AREA IS SCRATCHED ALITTLE, ANOTHER RIM HAS LITTLE SCRATCHES FROM PARKING. THE FRONT BUMPER HAS SCRATCHES ON BOTH SIDES AND NEED TO BE FIXED AS WELL. AND SOME SCRATCHES HERE AND THERE ON THE BODY FOR A 5 YEARS OLD VEHICLE.
THE INTERIOR IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH NO RIPS OR TEARS ON THE SEATS. THE INTERIOR COLOR IS MORE LIKE DARK TAN.

I GOT AN ESTIMATE FROM A PROF. AUTOBODY SHOP TO REPAIR ALL THIS FOR $1600 IN NY.
AND I AM SURE WILL COST LESS IN DIFFERENT STATE OR EVEN IF SOMEONE BUY IT TO SHIP IT OVERSEAS BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING NEED TO BE REPLACED  TO FIX THE MURANO, IT'S JUST SOME BODY WORK AND NOTHING MAJOR.

Detroit 3 to implement delayed unified towing standards for 2015

Mon, 10 Feb 2014

Car buyers have a responsibility to be well-informed consumers. That's not always a very simple task, but some guidelines are self-evident. If you live in a very snowy climate, you generally know a Ford Mustang or Chevrolet Camaro might not be as viable a vehicle choice as an all-wheel drive Explorer or Traverse, for example. If you want a fuel-efficient car, it's generally a good idea to know the difference between a diesel and a hybrid. But what if it's kind of tough to be an informed consumer? What if the information you need is more difficult to come by, or worse, based on different standards for each vehicle? Well, in that case, you might be a truck shopper.
For years, customers of light-duty pickups have had to suffer through different ratings of towing capacities for each brand. For 2015 model year trucks, though, that will no longer be a problem. According to Automotive News, General Motors, Ford and Chrysler Group have announced that starting with next year's models, a common standard will be used to measure towing capacity. The Detroit Three will join Toyota, which adopted the Society of Automotive Engineers' so-called SAE J2807 standards way back in 2011.
The standard was originally supposed to be in place for MY2013, but concerns that it would lower the overall stated capacity for trucks led Detroit automakers to pass. Ford originally passed, claiming it'd wait until its new F-150 was launched to adopt the new standards, leading GM and Ram to follow suit. Nissan, meanwhile, has said it will adopt the new standards as its vehicles are updated, meaning the company's next-generation Titan should adhere to the same tow ratings as its competitors.

Syrena Sport returns as rebodied Nissan 370Z

Tue, 23 Apr 2013

We wouldn't hold it against you if you'd never heard of the FSO Syrena Sport. FSO built the long-enduring Syrena for some 17 years nonstop, and while the machines were mostly plodding family sedans, engineers at FSO did create one version with a bit more zest. The Syrena Sport was a two-door coupe that borrowed design cues from Ferrari and was powered by a two-cylinder, air-cooled boxer engine. While originally intended for production, economic woes kept the machine from ever seeing the light of day.
Now, the Syrena Sport is back, though in a slightly different configuration. Entrepreneur Rafal Czubaj has resurrected the name for a special one-off creation designed by Pavlo Burkatskyy. This time around, there is no oddball boxer under the hood, however. Czubaj chose to use the underpinnings from the Nissan 370Z, complete with its 3.7-liter V6 engine. Buyers can choose between a 330-horsepower tune or a 450-hp iteration, and with a curb weight of 2,865 pounds, the car should be plenty quick. Expect acceleration to 60 miles per hour in around 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 180 mph.

Nissan details Craigslist 1996 Maxima restoration

Wed, 19 Nov 2014

"Luxury Defined," in the most ironic sense the galaxy has ever known, is now "Luxury Restored," in the real and incredible sense. Last September, Luke Aker made ads to sell his 1996 Nissan Maxima GLE, the YouTube version being a mix truth, bombast, a British accent and a ratchet strap. The ad tickled Nissan such that it bought the car from Akes and made a donation to a charity of his choice. Then they consulted with the citizens of the Internet to decide what to do with it, the final vote being a complete restoration and display at the company's Nashville HQ.
Friends, Netizens, countrymen, the job is done. Nicknamed "Old Glory," comparing the old car with the new is like reading one of those shelter dog rescue stories where the loving family nurses an impossibly cute pup back to health with handheld nursing sessions, baby bottles of warm milk and whispered lullabies. Only Nissan probably didn't sing to the Maxima.
The Maxima is now on display, and we hope they've hung the ratchet strap with it. You can see Aker's new video on the transformation above, plus another video and press release below detailing the Maxima's journey back to New Glory.
