This listing is for a 2009
Nissan Murano LE AWD. The LE is the top
of the line Murano with all available options, and this example is in really great,
well cared for condition. You can
purchase this vehicle worry-free, as it is still under bumper-to-bumper
EasyCare warranty from Nissan until 10/30/15 or 78,150 miles. Please review my description and photos carefully
to get an accurate picture of the details and condition of this vehicle. I encourage any serious buyers with questions
or interest in a test drive to contact me directly. The LE trim includes all of the options you want,
including: -
Full leather interior with wood trim -
Xenon headlights -
Panoramic glass moonroof -
20” premium alloy wheels -
Heated seats (front AND rear) -
Rearview back-up camera -
Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity -
iPhone/iPod integration with connection
for iPhone 3, 4, 4S or 5 (including lightning connector) -
Powered liftgate (tailgate opens and
closes itself on command) -
Memory powered seats -
Powered folding rear seats Maintenance This garage kept Nissan is my wife and my personal
vehicle, and all maintenance and service has been performed on schedule. We purchased this Murano Certified Pre-Owned
from Nissan in 2012 with 42k miles, and it is still under an extensive EasyCare
bumper-to-bumper warranty. The warranty
literally covers all repairs other than regular maintenance (oil, filters,
brake pads, tires). All warranty repairs
have been completed by the Nissan dealership, and all maintenance has been done
at either the dealership or my own garage.
The Murano will be delivered to its new owner with a fresh oil and
filter change. Other recent work
includes new air filter, new cabin carbon air filter, new battery, new rear
brake pads, and a brand new power steering pump, which was replaced under
warranty. The brake pads still have a
lot of life left, and the tires still have decent tread, but will likely need
to be replaced within the next several thousand miles. This vehicle is properly aligned, runs and
drives as it should, and does not have any warning lights, noises, leaks,
smoke, or other issues. I take
meticulous care of my vehicles, and this Murano is no exception. Exterior The paint and interior on this car are both in very
good condition. The “Merlot Metallic” (burgundy
red) paint shines beautifully with no fading, clear coat peeling, or major
blemishes. There are some minor rock
chips and small scratches on the exterior, as would be expected for a well-kept
car of this age and mileage. The most
notable scratch is on the front bumper, which I attempted to photograph. Interior The interior is in beautiful condition and has no major
blemishes or signs of wear. My wife and
I do not have children, and this car has not been abused as so many Muranos
have. There is no significant wear on
any of the leather surfaces, and no cracks or other damage to the wood or
aluminum surfaces. There are no stains,
spills, or other issues anywhere on the interior. Please keep in mind that the car is not brand
new, but that wear is minimal for a car of this age and mileage. Options/Electronics All of the electronic components and options work
properly without any exceptions. All
buttons and controls are in excellent condition and work as new. These items are all currently under warranty
and have been properly cared for. Details The car has a clear IN title in my name, free of all
liens, and ready to transfer to the new owner.
A $500 Paypal deposit is due within 24 hours of
sale. The balance of payment is due
within 10 days of sale via certified check, wire transfer or cash in
person. Pick-up or shipping of the
vehicle is the full responsibility of the buyer, but I am happy to meet your
shipper to load the vehicle at a mutually agreed upon time. Full payment must be cleared before vehicle
pick-up. Please ask any/all questions before purchasing or making
an offer on this car. If you would like
to speak via the phone or see the car in person, please send a message to me
with your phone number, or send a request and I will provide mine. Thanks for your interest! |

Nissan teases new pickup again, this time with video
Wed, 04 Jun 2014It was just yesterday that we were presented with our first teaser image of Nissan's new midsize pickup, ahead of its June 11 debut. Today, we have video of what is most likely the next-generation Frontier.
It does reveal a skosh more of the truck than the teaser, focusing on the grille, which should follow Nissan's familial pattern. There's also plenty of footage of the new truck in action, as well as a tiny glimpse of the cabin, which shows (we're guessing) an information display in the instrument cluster.
Take a look below for the video, and then be sure to check back here in one week for the official reveal of the newest Nissan pickup.
Recharge Wrap-up: Custom Nissan Leaf video, Shell's Arctic oil plans
Fri, Aug 7 2015A video shows a customized Nissan Leaf. An owner in Japan slapped a pretty spiffy body kit on his EV, along with some Forgiato custom wheels and brakes. There's no telling what effects these modifications have on the car's aerodynamics or driving range, but it definitely gives the leaf a unique and sporty look. Check it out in the video above, and read more at Ecomento. Shell has big plans to drill for oil in the Arctic Ocean. With 13 percent of the world's undiscovered oil resting beneath those frigid waters, the company sees this new frontier as promising, despite the challenges involved in exploiting it. So far, Shell has spent $7 billion on Arctic operations without having extracted any oil yet. Of course, the idea of Arctic drilling has loads of opposition from concerned individual and organizations concerned with the environmental hazards of extracting oil in the icy north. Read in-depth about Shell's plans at Bloomberg. Ford has won the Altair Enlighten Award for its lightweight technology in the F-150. The award program honors automotive innovations in weight reduction. Ford was recognized for shaving 700 pounds off of the F-150 while improving performance and safety. "It's encouraging to see Ford implementing a holistic lightweighting strategy, which resulted in impressive weight savings that were incredibly significant to the judging panel," says Altair's Vice President of Global Automotive, Dave Mason. General Motors was the runner-up, with its weight savings in the Cadillac ATS and CTS. Read more at PitchEngine. The Diesel Technology Forum has outlined environmental improvements in heavy-duty vehicles at a rulemaking hearing in front of the EPA and NHTSA. Between 2010 and 2014, clean diesel technology reduced carbon emissions equal to that of 2.4 coal-fired power plants, and NOx emissions equal to 158 coal plants. New rules would help further improve the environmental performance of diesel engines. "Advances in diesel engine technology will continue to contribute to the overall efficiency gains of vehicles under this proposed rule," says Diesel Technology Forum Executive Director Allen Schaeffer. "As a result we expect diesel technology to remain the primary power-plant for commercial trucks into the foreseeable future." Read more in the press release below. Nissan cooks up throwback livery for Le Mans
Thu, May 28 2015Nissan may not have won the overall 24 Hours of Le Mans before – Mazda remains the only Japanese automaker to have done so – but when it returns to Le Mans this year, it will be armed with other bragging rights. And it's that past accomplishment that Nissan is celebrating with this throwback livery. Twenty-five years ago, Mark Blundell set a blistering qualifying lap in the No. 24 Nissan R90CK, lapping La Sarthe in 3:27.020. That was enough to put the Datsun on pole for the race, and though it never made it to the finish line, it set a record that stands to this day when it hit 227 miles per hour on the Mulsanne straight – even with the chicanes in place. That car wore a blue livery with white and red that still holds a place of honor in the hearts of racing fans. So to mark its return to Le Mans a quarter century later, Nissan is decking out its new GT-R LM Nismo in a tribute livery that will be worn by the third entry the company will be fielding in the race. Nissan celebrates 1990 pole lap of Le Mans with retro livery for LM P1 car LE MANS, France – Nissan today revealed a very special livery that will feature on the No.21 Nissan GT-R LM NISMO at Le Mans. Exactly 25 years ago, at the peak of the Group C era, Mark Blundell put the Nissan R90CK on pole position with a stunning 3:27.020 lap of the Le Mans circuit. The No.21 Nissan GT-R LM NISMO is Nissan's third LM P1 car that will be raced by current Super GT Champion Tsugio Matsuda (JAP) and two winners of GT Academy, Lucas Ordonez (ESP) and Mark Shulzhitskiy (RUS). The No.24 Nissan R90CK will also appear at Le Mans in a special parade to mark the anniversary of the pole lap in the hands of the man who took it to the top of the tables 25 years ago, Mark Blundell. The 1100bhp car may not reach speeds of 366 km/h (227 mph) as it did in 1990, but it is certain to grab everyone's attention. "That lap of Le Mans is certainly a very fond memory for me," said Blundell. "It was one of those moments where time stood still and everything went perfectly. You remember those moments, as they don't happen all that often. It's great to see Nissan celebrating that time with the retro livery on the #21 Nissan GT-R LM NISMO. I can't wait to see it on track at Le Mans." "Our racing heritage is hugely important to us," said Darren Cox, Global Head of Brand, Marketing & Sales, NISMO.
