This car is in remarkable shape; it's clean, it shines, and it has allot of power! There are very few flaws on the exterior/interior of the Murano; as you can see from the photos. The car has numerous features, but I've always enjoyed the fully retractable sunroof, multiple garage door openers on rear-view-mirror, and the visual display screen on the console that gives a digital readout of vehicle options the most. As for the history of this car, My dad purchased this car for my late mother from Legacy Nissan in London, KY. There has only been (correction) 2 owners of this Murano: Mom & Dad, and the "in-family" transfer to me after she passed back in 2010. This car was my mother's pride and joy, and it has taken me a few years to be able to let it go. Lastly, I want to touch on payment. I'm cool with a deposit via pay-pal upon the winning/closing bid; however, I don't trust using pay-pal with a larger priced item "like a car." So if you are a pay-pal only person, I'm sorry but I'm not going to be able to work with you. Too many thieves and scammers are stealing peoples identity and making purchases with pay-pal these days. If you buy the car, you will be expected to make a wire transfer at your own cost to a temporary savings account that will be set up at my local bank. OR you can pay via a cashiers check that is verified to be authentic at my local bank. OR you can simply pay in person with cash; besides, the idea that you wouldn't be here in person to try out the vehicle for yourself before completing the sale seems a little strange to me anyhow. The buyer will make all appropriate arrangements to pick up the Murano locally once auction is closed. Any questions can be addressed to Greg @ (606) 231-8600. The car has been garage kept the entire time I've owned it. Also, regular service has been performed at the local Nissan dealership, oil changes have been taken care of by London Express Care (Valvoline 10W-30 full synthetic), and the tires were purchased new from Whitaker Performance in London, Kentucky.

Autotrader picks best cars for 2015's college grads
Sun, May 31 2015Summer is here and the school season is winding to a close. That means millions of students will be graduating college and (hopefully) entering the workforce. For many, that will mean buying a new car suited to the new stage in life into which they will now be embarking. That can be a bewildering choice, especially for someone who's never bought a car before. Fortunately, Autotrader has come up with a short list of recommended cars – new and used – which it recommends to the graduating class of 2015. Among the site's top choices are some compelling crossovers and hatchbacks, including the Buick Encore, Chevy Trax, and Jeep Renegade, as well as the Honda Fit, Nissan Versa Note, Mazda3 and Fiat 500. Can't stretch to buying new, or don't see the point? Autotrader has also identified the Toyota Camry, Ford Fusion and even the Lexus IS as smart buys in the certified pre-owned category. "Any time someone goes through a major life change, such as graduating college, they need to determine if their current ride makes sense for their lifestyle, from both a financial and functional perspective," says Autotrader editor Brian Moody. "For example, while that hand-me-down SUV from your parents was nice when you turned 16, you may want to opt for a safer, more fuel-efficient car as you transition into the working world." Autotrader Names 10 Best Cars for Recent College Graduates ATLANTA, May 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- For many, graduating college is a milestone like no other – it represents a new chapter, a proud accomplishment and, fortunately or unfortunately, financial independence. Luckily for graduates who are in the market for a new car to suit their post-college lifestyle, Autotrader's expert editors say now is a great time to make a purchase, as dealerships are flush with affordable models that are fun, fuel-efficient and thoughtfully designed. Should you buy an EV?
Mon, Aug 17 2015Gas prices are hitting the skids and EVs are following suit; nearly every model in today's market has experienced a double-digit decline in sales – with the always notable exception of the Tesla Model S. Some EVs are in the last year of their generation while others have been half-heartedly designed and engineered to fulfill federal government quotas. The two non-Tesla front runners, the Chevy Volt and Nissan Leaf, are in the unfortunate position of offering customers "2015" vehicles that were designed with 2011 in mind. Yet there's plenty of love in the air. Nissan has built over 180,000 Leafs worldwide, and chances are you will be seeing a second electric vehicle accompanying the Leaf when the new generation is released in the coming months. The Chevy Volt now offers the highest customer satisfaction out of any car or truck sold in North America. Forget the luxury cars, the sports cars, the family trucksters, and even the rolling flagship that guides Tesla's jaw dropping valuation on Wall Street. You want happy with your EV? The brand that's rocking the segment right now is Chevy. It's been doing so for a while. The EV market is poised to become a lot more sophisticated over the next 18 months with the three leading manufacturers – Tesla, General Motors, and Nissan – launching five brand new models along with no fewer than 16 other manufacturers making many of their bread and butter cars available as plug-in hybrids. So, if you want to keep your money as far away from the Arab dictatorships and Russian mafia as Mercury is from Pluto, and enjoy your commute, we're more than ready to do our part! So let's begin with the most important question. What's Your Range? How much driving do you generally do in a day? If the answer to that question is 50 miles or fewer, an all-electric vehicle like the Nissan Leaf may be the best ingredient for your driving recipe. This is especially true if you have a second vehicle you can use for the occasional longer drive or are willing to rent for the weekend. But here's a little surprise for you. The upcoming Chevy Volt was designed to be driven in all-electric mode for over 50 miles. Fifty-three, to be exact. Plus, the Volt's battery has experienced a lot fewer deterioration issues than the Nissan Leaf's due in part to the Volt's liquid-cooled battery, which also uses a lot less of its capacity than the air-cooled Leaf's does.
Nissan explains why GT-R LM Nismo is front-wheel drive
Sun, May 10 2015History and conventional wisdom tell us that a racing car should be either rear-wheel drive or have its engine in the middle (or, preferably, both). Considering this, Nissan's decision to field a front-wheel-drive, front-engined race car at the 2015 24 Hours of Le Mans is at least a little bit strange. Why, though? Why is Nissan ignoring literally decades of evidence to the contrary with the new GT-R LM Nismo? As the company's driver, Jann Mardenborough tells it, the layout plays to the all-consuming pursuit of optimum aerodynamic efficiency. Check out Nissan's full explanation behind the front-drive GT-R and get a taste of the company's FWD racing pedigree, in the video attached up top.
