Let me start off by saying - this is one of the best engineered cars I have ever owned. Truly sad to see it leave. I am building a new home and need to free up some cash. I have references on top of references from people I have privately sold my recent vehicles too. I recently sold a 2014 Audi RS7 and a 2012 Audi R8 Spyder. I can furnish those references at your request. No low balls. Serious offers. Call me with questions. 914-469-6182 No 3rd party services. I have a loan on the car through Bank of America. Car was professionally tuned by Tim Bailey from COBB Tuning on 93/E85 Flex Fuel. Car was purchased brand new off the dealer show room this April from Curry Nissan in NY. The modification list is outstanding. I have receipts and invoices for everything. Car is currently making 715hp and 635tq to the wheels on a mustang dyno, capable of 1000hp+ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Engine/Power Upgraded Alpha 9 Turbos Upgraded Wastegates Extreme Turbo Systems Street Front Mount Intercooler Custom Lines - Fittings - Oil & Cooling / Heat Shielding Got Boost Speed Density Kit DYNO Tune by Tim Bailey from COBB - Comes with Complete Accessport APv3 E85 Flex Fuel Tuned Injector Dynamics 2000cc injectors Flex Fuel Sensor Kit Denso Drop in Fuel Pumps hard wired w kit AMS Map Sensor Boost Logic 3" Intakes GFB Blow off valves Agency Power Cast Downpipes Cobb 3.5 inch catted y pipe ETS Full Titanium midpipe and exhaust ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Suspension/Wheels/Tires (1000 miles on all these parts) Advan GT Premium wheels in gloss black 20x10, 20x12. The turbo's are barely breathing at this point and can be tuned for 28-31lbs. This car can easily make over 1000hp to the crank and over 850 to the wheels if you do a small motor/tranny build. I have the parts already picked out that I was going to purchase. Look at the dyno. Car makes amazing power on stock motor and tranny safely. The amount of time and thought put into this build was countless hours. The amount of labor and waiting time itself makes this buy worth the money. Buy and go. |

2014 Nissan X-Trail is the Rogue's identical twin [w/video]
Tue, 10 Sep 2013Up until now, the Rogue and X-Trail were two different compact crossovers that competed in the same segment for Nissan, except one was sold only in the US and the other Europe. So why, Nissan asked, aren't they exactly the same? Thus, with today's reveal of the redesigned 2014 Nissan Rogue, our team on the ground at the Frankfurt Motor Show also met its new identical twin, the 2014 Nissan X-Trail.
Unlike the Rogue, the former X-Trail was a boxy thing that put on the airs of an SUV, so this new look is likely a larger departure for Europeans than it is for us 'Yanks. From what we can tell comparing their press releases, these two crossovers are practically identical save for the badge on their rear liftgates, both now offering an optional third row of seating and a slew of infotainment and active and passive safety features.
The one thing that may differ between the two are the engines on offer. While we know the Rogue has a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine producing 170 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque, Nissan's remaining mum on what will motivate the X-Trail. The prior model offered both gas- and diesel-powered models, which we feel safe in assuming will continue (perhaps opening the door for a diesel-powered Rogue in the US some day). Nissan says we'll know more closer to the X-Trail's on-sale date, which is stated simply as being "next year," whereas the Tennessee-built Rogue will be going on sale in the US this fall.
2014 Nissan Rogue
Fri, 01 Nov 2013When I first started in this whole automotive journalism biz, I held a sort of hodgepodge receptionist/gopher/production assistant role, and each morning as the staff filed in, I'd ask them how they liked whatever car they were assigned to drive the previous night. Most of my colleagues would regale me with anecdotes about how good or bad a vehicle was, but one co-worker, every single morning, would answer my query with the exact same phrase: "It was fine."
I always assumed this was just a brush-off, an "ask me again after I've had a cup of coffee" sort of response. But then I found myself in a similar moment of brevity following the launch of the 2014 Nissan Rogue earlier this week. After returning home, a friend asked me what I thought of the new Rogue, and I replied, word for word, "It was fine."
And, well, it was. Nothing worth wasting exclamation points over, good or bad. Aside from something like the interesting-to-drive Mazda CX-5 or funky-looking Jeep Cherokee, nothing in this class really tries to set the world on fire. And that, right there, is fine. Nissan doesn't need to do anything crazy with its second-generation Rogue. It just needs to offer a well-equipped crossover that's handsome, functional, efficient and priced right - sticking to the same formula that made the first-generation model so successful while offering the latest crop of creature comforts in a more modern package.
NHTSA probing whether to call Nissan to the carpet over Versa unintended acceleration
Mon, 30 Jun 2014The Nissan Versa and Versa Note may have a carpeting problem that could make the little cars risky to drive. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is launching a preliminary evaluation into the 2012-2014 model year versions of the Versa, Versa Sedan and Versa Note, affecting an estimated 360,000 vehicle. In these vehicles, it's possible that the driver's foot could be caught where the carpet meets a trim panel near the accelerator. The regulator has four reported instances of the issue, but it's still collecting data from Nissan about any further cases.
According to the complaints, the tunnel carpet cover trim panel can possibly snag the drivers' right shoe where it meets the carpet, and can either keep their foot on the accelerator or prevent moving it to the brake pedal. In one case, the problem was bad enough that the driver had to free his foot using his hand, while driving. In two of the four reported cases, the vehicles were rental cars.
This is actually the second ongoing preliminary evaluation for some of these models. In late May, NHTSA started looking into the 2013-2014 Versa and 2014 Versa Note for long brake pedal travel.
