You are viewing one of my personal vehicles:   a 2009 Super Silver Nissan GT-R (Premium Package).    I take exceptionally good care of my cars (washing them about every 10 days or so), however that is not to say the car is perfect.  It will have the typical road rash and a few small blemishes as any used car with almost 20k miles would have.   Currently the odometer is at 19500.  I drive it often, so that mileage will increase.   The rear tires were changed just shy of 14k miles, and the front tires were changed at 16k miles.  At 18k miles, I had a Nissan dealership change out the necessary fluids (transmission, differential, oil, etc.) as part of routine maintenance.   All oil changes have also been done at a GT-R certified dealership.  I can provide maintenance records while the car has been in my possession (as I am the second owner).  The car has a clear Title, and I have the Title in hand.   (You will see a lien on the Autocheck/Carfax, but that is inaccurate as I have just recently paid it off).   The car has no modifications, and it has never been tracked or launched.  You are welcome to review a CarFax and/or arrange a pre-purchase inspection at your cost (within reason of my availability).   It comes with 2 key fobs and original manuals.   If you need additional photos or have questions, please let me know.   Thanks for looking.

I have sold several cars on eBay in the past, so bid/purchase with confidence.

I have been an Ebay member since July 2002.  I have great positive feedback, so you are dealing with a very reputable person. The current auction includes everything mentioned above and/or as depicted.

Please inquire with all questions.  I will respond to all emails received prior to listing's end, but I cannot assure I can answer questions that arise within the last 15 minutes.    Please ask all questions prior to bidding/buying.  Thanks for looking and good luck!!

Nissan's new GT-R boss says next car will go for more volume

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

Since its introduction in 2008, the Nissan GT-R has seen a steady increase of power and price almost every year, but the big news for the next-gen supercar might be an increase in production. Automotive News recently spoke with newly appointed GT-R chief engineer Kinishi Tanuma who said Nissan needs "more of a volume car." Nissan has sold a little more than 2,000 GT-Rs in the US since 2012 - 1,188 last year and 952 so far this year.
Of course, a key limiting factor in the GT-R's production is its hand-built engine. Currently, only four people are qualified to build the GT-R's twin-turbo V6, but Tanuma says a fifth is in training. Even if production numbers are raised, Nissan also wants to add more quality and value into the GT-R. There is still no word as to what kind of timeframe Nissan is looking to start pumping out more GT-Rs, but with a new Nismo model rumored to be bringing a two-second 0-60 time, demand is sure to be on the rise.

Did Amazon just deliver a car in a giant box?

Tue, 07 Jan 2014

Back in September, reports started rolling in that Amazon would get into the auto sales business after a promo for the Nissan Versa Note appeared on the online retailer's page. That link didn't actually sell a car, but instead acted as a referral service for potential customers, linking them up with dealers. A recent image that's been floating around on Reddit and that was picked up by The Huffington Post, though, has us wondering if Amazon has dove into the actual business of selling cars, rather than just referring people to dealers.
The image, above, shows an enormous Amazon box on the back of a flatbed tow truck. According to HuffPo, this could be one of the cars sold through the earlier promotion for the Versa Note (which was sweetened with the addition a $1,000 Amazon gift card). Apparently, three of the Versas purchased would arrive in such a fashion. Then again, this could all be nothing more than an elaborate publicity stunt. Amazon is, after all, the company has been touting drone delivery of its goods.
What do you think is in the box? Let us know down in Comments. Bonus points for those that come up with an idea as absurd as the bulk order of banana slicers HuffPo mentioned.

Nissan settles with FTC over misleading dune buggy ad [w/videos]

Fri, 24 Jan 2014

A couple years ago, Nissan created a series of commercials for its compact Frontier pickup showing the truck performing outlandish stunts such as snowboarding, saving a passenger airplane from a crash landing and climbing a steep sand dune to help a stranded dune buggy. As crazy as the first two commercials were, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) took issue with the latter, titled Hill Climb, with the agency considering it to be a misleading commercial since both vehicles required a cable to reach the top of the steep dune.
As such, Ad Age is reporting that Nissan - and its ad agency TBWA Worldwide - has settled with the FTC over the ad despite the fact that it features a disclaimer stating: "Fictionalization. Do not attempt." Nissan did not have to pay out any money in the settlement, but it is prohibited "from using potentially misleading demonstrations in future advertisements for pickups." In addition to the offending commercial, posted below, we've included some of the other related videos from the same Frontier campaign.
