2009 Nissan Frontier Pro-4x Extended Cab Pickup 4-door 4.0l 6spd Navigation Nice on 2040-cars
Lutz, Florida, United States
I have been a wholesale auto dealer in the Tampa Bay area for over 20 years. This gorgeous 2009 Nissan Frontier extended cab Pro-4X was just traded in. It is a local Florida truck with no rust and comes with a 100% clean Carfax history report with no accidents or title issues whatsoever. This truck is very clean and well maintained. It runs and drives great with no mechanical issues. The only thing keeping this truck from being perfect is the paint has peeled along the driver's side front fender and a small spot on the tailgate. This has been a common issue with many Nissan trucks. I can have the fender and tailgate repainted for you, but I will give you the option of having it done yourself. I didn't want to have it painted prior to selling it because some people might think the truck was wrecked. Anyway, I can have both the fender and tailgate repainted at a cost of $300, and they will look like new again. This truck is well equipped with power windows, power locks with remote, tilt steering, cruise control, rear jump seats, factory rear tie down track system, alloy wheels, rare 6spd manual transmission, Bluetooth, steering wheel controls for audio system, auxiliary port for Mp3 player, sliding rear window, step up bars, voice command system, plus much, much more. NADA says this truck with the current mileage and options is worth $18,900 retail, but you can buy it here wholesale from a wholesaler. Plus, NO DEALER FEES. Please call or text Rick at 813 244-4289 for more info or to see it in person. |

Can a car be lifted using rubber bands?
Sat, 19 Jan 2013It's quite amazing what it takes to lift a car. We already know the feat can be accomplished using just a pair of phone books, but what about rubber bands? To the Internet! A video series appropriately titled "Will It Lift" attempted to find out by using a massive crane and a Nissan Micra weighing less than 1,800 pounds.
Doing a little math, the trio determined that it would take 180 rubber bands to support the car. A metal bar was placed through the window openings and another was place atop the car, and then attached together using the rubber bands and hooked to the crane. Now these aren't any special rubber bands or anything. They're just eight-millimeters thick, but the stunt is testing the rubber bands' power in numbers.
We're not going to spoil it for you, so scroll down to check out the video of the stunt.
Nissan reviving Pulsar name for Euro market
Mon, 19 May 2014The Nissan Pulsar doesn't have what we'd consider a rich history in the US, other than on some models decades ago. However, the nameplate has been part of the Nissan lineup globally since 1978 and has proven popular in Asia and Australia. Now, the brand is teasing a five-door hatch to revive the name and hit European showrooms this fall.
The new Pulsar will be built at the company's recently renovated factory in Barcelona, Spain. It's not clear from the teaser whether this is the same model that is already sold in other parts of the world or a brand new vehicle. Although, Nissan says in the announcement that the car "has been designed to meet the specific demands of European car buyers."
With competitors like the Volkswagen Golf and Ford Focus, the European five-door hatch market is seriously competitive. It will be interesting to see if Nissan will have something special to bring to the table. Scroll down to read Nissan's full teaser about its latest hatchback in Europe.
Pretty scenery alert: Nissan Leaf drives up a volcano on Maui
Fri, Apr 11 2014Gravity taketh away but gravity giveth back, Nissan is trying to teach all of us. The Japanese automaker has posted a two-minute video about Maui resident Neil Wagner using his Nissan Leaf to catch the legendary sunrise over the volcano in Haleakala National Park. After climbing the more-than-10,000-foot elevation, the Leaf is shown having lost about 84 percent of its usable battery capacity. The finer point, though, is that electric vehicles have a regenerative braking system, meaning that the downhill ride and all of its switchbacks actually replenish battery capacity. Of course, the video didn't show exactly how much of that capacity was replenished, but the point is well-made, and with really cool scenery. Sales for the Leaf have already been strong this year. Through the first three months of the year, Nissan boosted sales 46 percent from 2013 numbers up to 5,184 units. This is after more than doubling sales last year to 22,610 units. And, for anyone curious, there are six publicly-accessible plug-in vehicle charging stations in Kahului and another eight in Lahaina, two of Maui's largest cities, according to the US Department of Energy. We're pretty sure that Mr. Wagner already knows that but we're going to take notes in case we need to make the sunrise drive one day. For now, we're going to check out Nissan's two-minute video below one more time. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
