The good -
6 Speed
Aftermarket spoiler/wing and front bumper
20 inch staggered wheels (Axis Mod7, tires are 285 rear & 245 front)
Cat -back exhaust and cold air intake
New brakes (pads & rotors) on all 4 corners less than 30 miles ago
New Optima red top battery about 2 months old
Freshly detailed yesterday

Maintenance -
Oil change is at about half life
Replaced bad throttle pos sensor
Replaced bad drivers side window motor
Rear tires are 80%, front tires are 30% (Nitto NT555)

Less good -
Overall the paint is in decent shape for 10 years old but there is a dent (no paint damage) near the gas cap, and a dent with paint damage on the driver side door(clear coat ok, no rust), pictures provided.
Wheels have been through 9 Kansas winters so there a little pitting/curb rash and the front drivers side wheel has a lip bent (does not leak, I had it fixed at one time but came back after a year or two).
CD player does not work (cd will not eject or load), never replaced because I haven't used it in years
A tire shop broke two of the center caps previously, and the replacements are rare and expensive so I just got black luck nuts and painted the center to black it out and and ended up liking the way it looks but I do still have the other two center caps that go with the wheels.

Getting rid of it because it I needed a backseat for my kids...

History -
I am the second owner I purchased in December 2005 with 24k miles on it. I have the title clean in hand, no lien. I have averaged ~8-10k miles on it a year since then

If buyer is not local they are responsible for any transportation costs.

2013 Nissan Pathfinder: July-September 2013

Thu, 03 Oct 2013

This Nissan is the most in-demand long-term vehicle we've ever had.
They may not readily fall into the sweet spot of driving enthusiasts, but our year-long test of this Nissan is proving to be an object lesson in why crossovers are so popular - especially large ones like our three-row Pathfinder. In fact, it's been so busy that it's hardly been at a standstill long enough to pen an update, which is why this one is late. Simply put, this Nissan is the most in-demand long-term vehicle we've ever had, racking up more miles and more long-distance trips than any LT vehicle in the Autoblog stable.

Nissan will restore Craigslist Maxima, display at headquarters [w/video]

Sat, 08 Feb 2014

Nissan showed that it had a great sense of humor when it bought Luke Aker's beat-up 1996 Nissan Maxima GLE for $1,400 back in December based solely on the quality of his tongue-in-cheek sales video.
Aker's Maxima had been thoroughly driven. It needed a strap to keep its hood closed, had front end damage, a missing turn signal and shredded leather seats. Of course, like Aker said in his ad, the car was still "fully loaded with an engine, wheels, tires and an automatic transmission." How could Nissan resist?
After buying the car, Nissan teamed up with MotorAuthority to decide what to do with it. The winning idea was to restore the car to its proper condition and display it at Nissan North America headquarters in Franklin, TN, with Aker's video playing nearby. According to MotorAuthority, the car has finally made it there, and its rebirth will begin soon. Nissan is not sure when the car will go on display.

2013 Nissan Juke Nismo

Scratching All The Right Itches
Say what you will about the unconventional aesthetics that Nissan employed on the company's Juke. I love the thing. The universe has no shortage of ambiguously styled CUVs, and while I can't exactly say I would have turned to the amphibian world for design inspiration had it been me with the charcoal in my hand, I can certainly appreciate the fact that the Juke isn't just another box-on-box design.
And then there's that engine. The turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder under the hood is one of the best powerplants in the company's toy box, offering plenty of low-range torque and comical levels of thrust. Hell, it even makes the optional continuously variable transmission tolerable. Praise be to the deities of forced induction. But something has always been missing from the mix. From the first moment I got my hands on the Juke, I couldn't help but think how much better the machine would be if Nissan ditched an inch or two of ground clearance and sharpened up its suspension. Think more "hot hatch" and less "Kermit goes to Kroger."
