2004 Nissan 350z Enthusiast Convertible 2-door 3.5l on 2040-cars

Year:2004 Mileage:63300 Color: meticulously and have handwashed it with the exception of running it through the soft
Location:

This a 2004 nissan 350z "enthusiast" convertible I have owned for two years. It was never driven in the winter under my ownership and was kept in a garage when parked.  It has been a fantastic car and I am sad to sell it. I maintained the interior/exterior meticulously and have handwashed it with the exception of running it through the soft-cloth carwash on a few occasions.

Includes a Bose surround sound system and navigation, heated seats, and is fully loaded for the 2004 convertible. AC blows cold and all electronics aside from driver side window work fine. I installed new front tires last fall and windshield due to a stone hitting my windshield on the highway. The windows were tinted before I purchased the vehicle and are at 25%. I've never had any issues with the police and the % tint on the windows. Only 10,000 miles have been put on this car during my 2 years of ownership. I recently had it inspected a week ago and they did not have to test emissions because less than 5k was put on the vehicle this year. It's in excellent shape.

The following are mechanical or aesthetic defects at the time of my purchase 2 years ago which show normal signs of wear and tear.  1) The front driver side window moves 1 inch downwards every time the door is shut. This is a common issue but I never bothered to fix it since I simply put the window all the way up and turn the car off before closing the door. There are instructions on how to fix it if you choose to do so yourself on 350z forums, or you may take it to the dealer and they'd charge you a couple hundred.  It never bothered me enough to ever fix it and really isn't an issue.

Please send me a message for any other questions/picture requests and I'll be as responsive as possible. If you live near the Philadelphia area please feel free to come inspect before bidding or official purchase.

A non-refundable deposit of $500 must be made through paypal within 48 hours of purchase. The remaining payment can be made via paypal. Feel free to message me a reasonable offer. I will ship to anywhere in the US. The buyer can either pick up the vehicle or I can ship it at the Buyer's responsibility.

Kelly Blue book values this car between $13,100 and $14,000. ***No Reserve price set.

Nissan teases sedan concept for Beijing [w/video]

Sat, 15 Mar 2014

Nissan is giving us the first tease of its creatively named New Sedan Concept that is premiering at the Beijing Motor Show on April 20. The single image shows the vehicle wearing a diaphanous robe that is just translucent enough to make out its headlights, V-shaped grille and badge. The rest is still a mystery.
The New Sedan Concept is aimed at young, digitally focused Chinese buyers, according to Nissan. Its look came from a collaboration between the company's design centers in China and Japan and was led by Chief Creative Officer Shiro Nakamura. However, the teaser certainly makes the New Sedan look a lot like the Sport Sedan Concept from the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. Hopefully, this is truly a new model and not just a repaint.
Scroll down for the full press release and a video of executive design director Mamoru Aoki discussing the new concept and previous ones.

Nissan returning to top-level US racing with this TUDOR entry

Fri, 03 Jan 2014

Muscle Milk Pickett Racing, formerly powered by Honda to two consecutive American Le Mans Series championships, is now officially powered by Nissan. The Japanese automaker's return to the top tier of US sports car racing comes with Nismo factory backing of the Muscle Milk entry in the newly created TUDOR United SportsCar Championship. Those with long memories will recall that Nissan walked away from America's then top-flight sports car series, IMSA, more than 20 years ago, having won 33 races, three manufacturer titles and four driver's titles from 1988 to 1991.
The ORECA 3 racecar's reveal also marks the introduction of Nismo Global Exchange drivers to the team. Alex Brundle, who drove for Nissan-powered OAK Racing last year in the FIA World Endurance Championship, will join Lucas Luhr and Klaus Graf at the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. It's his first time in a major US event, but having finished second in the WEC and in the LMP2 class at Le Mans last year, he's no novice. Nismo drivers will also contest the 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans.
The No. 6 Muscle Milk entry will be hitting the track with the other competitors this weekend during the "Roar before the Rolex 24," with the race itself happening on January 25-26. You can read more about what's coming in the press release below.

Nissan recalls over 220k Altima sedans over hoods that could fly open

Fri, 10 Oct 2014

Nissan will be recalling 220,000 Altima sedans, according to a new recall bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Apparently, model year 2013 Altimas built between March 6, 2012 and February 28, 2013 are at risk of their hoods flying open at speed.
According to NHTSA, debris, corrosion and interference between the hood's inner panel and the secondary latch lever could bind the mechanism in the unlatched position. While this in itself won't cause the hood to fly open - there's still a primary latch that needs released from within the cabin - it presents a potentially dangerous situation should the primary latch be accidentally released.
Nissan will begin notifying owners of the affected vehicles, who will need to report to their local dealer for free repairs. Scroll down for the full bulletin from the government safety watchdog.
