 1996 300ZX Convertible
Rare & Unique

Hey everyone, here is a opportunity to own a rare and unique 1996 300ZX convertible. If you know 300ZX's you know how rare the convertible is out of 89,156 cars produced, the convertible was only made 1993-1996. And only 3,846 out of the 89,156 and you always seen them for sale but rarely see a 1996 due to the fact that only 194 were made out of the 4000 so you can see how rare this car is. This car started as a bone stock car when i bought it and over the years, i have upgraded and modified it to become a show car and daily summer car. I installed west wings front bumper and side skirts with a Stillen rear bumper then painted it, a custom candy orange that pictures can't due it justice which cost over $5,000 with installation of body kit. the Kit is not perfect due to the front bumper but still show quality. I upgraded to Nissan skyline r34 front and rear calipers with crossed drilled slotted rotors stock wheels no longer fit due to bigger calipers I installed 20" wheels with deep 5" chrome lip they ride and handle amazing no rubbing and great ride. On the engine I installed unorthodox racing under drive pulleys only thing left to hook up a/c have the parts was working before removed. I have also upgraded air cleaner to Jim wolf style like k&n but better. I upgraded to a cat back exhaust 2.5" with O2 simulators sounds great nice and throaty like an F1 car maybe too loud for some but I love it. I started to upgrade interior and will be finished before action ends except for seats but will include a passenger power seat pre-wired interior color is black with orange suede accents with carbon fiber trim has custom door panels with JBL speakers in custom boxes. will also include a double din radio DVD touchscreen alpine with a custom carbon fiber bezel. I have reverse glow gauges installed with chrome bezels and carbon fiber trim a auto page 2 way remote start is installed as well as recent tune up NGK plugs and oil change with in 10 miles. I hate to let vehicle go but here is your chance to own a unique rare car at a fraction of whats invested. As always have to sell due to financial reasons I am sure their is stuff i forgot to list like the 8000k hid kit installed and so on so please call me to inspect vehicle or test drive vehicle call Tammy at 708-691-4954. shipping is buyer responsibility. Datsun Redi-Go is reborn brand's first concept car [w/video]

Wed, 05 Feb 2014

Nissan's plan for its reborn Datsun sub-brand just got a shot in the arm, as the emerging-market manufacturer has unveiled its first concept car since its resurrection back in 2012. Called the Redi-Go Concept, it looks like a high-riding version of Datsun's recently launched Go hatchback that's been fitted with a few concept car cues (not a bad thing).
The Redi-Go packs LED taillights, Datsun's "D-cut grille" and LED running lights into its Go-inspired body. Funky two-tone 15-inch wheels add a bit of cheek to the overall design, and in our minds look quite good, despite being so small. The ruggedized front and rear bumpers, as well as the sill and wheel arch surrounds add to the Redi-Go's rough-and-tumble aesthetic. We like that Datsun has kept the overall package short, giving the Redi-Go a 92.5-inch wheelbase, rather than creating a lifted version of the upcoming Go+. There are no specific mentions of the Redi-Go's mechanicals, although we'd wager that a production model might share the 1.2-liter engine and five-speed manual found in the standard Go.
While it might be easy to dismiss a concept like the Redi-Go in America, there's no denying its importance to the Indian market, which is decidedly more limited when it comes to available bodystyles. "If we were to make a car like Datsun Redi-Go Concept it would be a segment creator in India, an aspirational car that at the same time is attainable, a car that would be within reach of the first time buyer. This concept shows how serious we are about reinvigorating the market by catering for the needs of a growing class of Indians who have the chance to own a family car that will enable them to enjoy a new sense of independence," said Vincent Cobee, the global head of Datsun.

Nissan NV400 becomes Japan's first electric ambulance

Mon, May 18 2020

Consumer passenger cars aren't the only vehicles undergoing electric transformations. We've seen the introduction of early electric fire trucks, and now Japan is getting its first electric ambulance. It's a Nissan NV400, and it will be used by the Tokyo Fire Department at the Ikebukuro station. Though badged as a Nissan, the NV400 is at its heart a Renault Master Z.E. electric van. The powertrain is the same as the French van with a 33-kilowatt-hour battery (7 kWhs less than the base Nissan Leaf) and a 55-kW motor driving the front wheels. That translates to 74 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. That doesn't sound like much, but in as dense a city as Tokyo, it's not likely the NV400 will be able to reach high speeds at all, even if it had a Hellcat engine. There are a couple of unique additions to the van to enhance its ambulance capability. One is the inclusion of a separate 8-kWh lithium-ion battery that can operate all the equipment on board for long periods of time without eating into the ambulance's range. It can even be used like a generator to provide power to external emergency equipment. Then there's the stretcher, which Nissan vaguely says is electrified to make it easier to use by the medical personnel. We presume the stretcher has an electric motor to make it easier to push around. Since neither the NV400 nor its Renault counterpart is sold here, we're not expecting to see one of these ambulances in the U.S. any time soon. But electric versions of local emergency vehicles seem like a good idea, since range wouldn't be an issue, and the torque would be useful in large vehicles. Ford is readying an electric full-size Transit, which is offered in America in gas versions. Perhaps we could see some electric Ford ambulances in the near future. Related Video:

How did Nissan tweet a response to the Royal Baby announcement so quickly?

Sun, 14 Sep 2014

A mere seven minutes after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge announced they were pregnant with their second child, Nissan had the perfect post circulating on the Twittersphere. How did Nissan know to expect Kate and William were expecting? By paying attention to the Internet zeitgeist.
It could be triplets and there would *still* be enough room for the Queen... #XTrail #SevenSeats #RoyalBaby pic.twitter.com/k4HiNAb7lq
