You will not find a better nissan 300zx that is in this good of shape. It's a 1992 300zx 2+2. The engine has been replaced around 3000 miles ago so it has around 48k miles on the engine .The car has zero rust anywhere on it. The car has always been garaged kept. The car has freshly been painted. I also installed the Z1 Motorsport's rear diffuser. The interior is in perfect shape has been replaced recently, and has the new car smell. The car has no issues what so ever. This is the kind of vehicle that you could drive anywhere and not wonder if its road worthy or not all the hoses on the engine has been replaced with Z1 silicone hoses for the brake booster and pvc valves and hoes that go with it..also has a brand new 10 inch pioneer sub and 1600 watt pioneer amp..for the right price the system will go with it. I also have a parts engine that will go with it.. If you have any questions text me at 276-two one nine-9500. The only reason that i am selling the car is I found a one owner twin turbo 6 speed Toyota Supra. In other words this toy has to go so i will be able to get the Supra. Thanks for looking and looking forward to seeing my "baby" going to a good home.
On Nov-18-13 at 22:51:45 PST, seller added the following information: I also have a parts engine and various other 300z related parts that i will also go with the winner of the auction. The parts include a block, crank, upper and lower intake manifold, 6 injectors, 6 coil packs, fuel rail, throttle bodies and linkages, throttle body and cruise control cover that covers the center of engine, and various other 300zx relater parts i have laying around. I forgot to add that in the original description. |

Next Nissan GT-R to take cues from GT-R LM Nismo Le Mans entry
Fri, 06 Jun 2014For those wondering why Nissan named its coming Le Mans Prototype the GT-R LM Nismo, colliding the two worlds of sports car and prototype racing, an article in Autocar might have the answer. The deeper union is explained by saying that the next-generation GT-R will use "hybrid technology that will closely align it" with the GT-R LM Nismo.
The point could be further driven home by the fact that the GT-R LM Nismo will begin its FIA endurance racing campaign next year, and the next GT-R is due to debut next year as a 2016 model. The expectation is that it will use a hybrid system possibly dubbed R-Hybrid and perhaps developed by Williams. Just like performance car makers Ferrari and Audi, Nissan wants its racing efforts to pay off with road car technology, company vice president Andy Palmer saying they "want to link technological linkages between future evolutions of the GT-R and evolutions of what we do in LMP1, and the two do go in both directions."
The bigger question is, with the GT-R getting hybrid assistance, will it also get the weight gain that usually comes with it? Enthusiasts would love to see the trend reversed, especially on a car that's already no lightweight.
Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge gets the heart of a GT-R [w/video]
Tue, 04 Mar 2014There has been ongoing talk of an Infiniti using the Nissan GT-R powertrain practically since the moment the Nissan's flagship sports coupe hit the road. While the rumors have gone back and forth over the years, they have never completely gone away. It seems Infiniti is finally turning an ear to the screams of its most vocal enthusiasts with an updated version of the Q50 Eau Rouge concept boasting a modified version of Godzilla's engine and all-wheel drive system debuting at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. It's even taking things a step further and granting it a new, seven-speed transmission to replace the Nissan's six-speed.
The latest evolution of the Eau Rouge packs the same 3.8-liter, twin turbocharged V6 found in the GT-R but with a unique tune of 560 horsepower and 443 pound-feet (600 Newton-meters) of torque. That makes it 15 hp more powerful than the standard 2015 GT-R but gives up 20 lb-ft of torque. Power gets to the ground through the GT-R's all-wheel-drive system. Infiniti predicts that the Eau Rouge would sprint to 60 miles per hour in less than 4 seconds and on to a top speed of 180 mph.
According to Infiniti Communications Senior Manager Kyle Bazemore in an email to Autoblog, the modded GT-R powertrain was not the only choice for the Eau Rouge. It also considered "developing a high-power sports diesel" and hybrid versions with an electric supercharger. However, "this was the clear solution for this concept car," Bazemore said. Other than the drivetrain, the Eau Rouge in Switzerland is identical to the one shown in Detroit. Sadly, it is not confirmed for production; so we might not be getting the fabled Infiniti GT-R sedan any time soon. Still, we can hope.
Nissan IDx 'in the plan' for production, needs support from fans [w/poll]
Wed, 15 Jan 2014If there's a trend in the auto industry we can firmly get behind, it's the small, light and affordable rear-drive coupe. The positive critical reception to the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ twins has encouraged other manufacturers to look at building their own rear drivers, and even a few to show actual concept cars based on the idea. The Chevrolet Code 130R from 2012 and more recently, the Nissan IDx twins that were first shown at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show both come to mind, as does the brand-new Kia GT4 Stinger Concept.
Nissan trotted out the IDx Nismo and the IDx Freeflow for another showing in Detroit and we'll admit to being totally smitten with both cars. Again. The duo draw inspiration from the iconic Datsun 510, a lightweight, affordable rear-driver that remains a cult favorite decades after production ended.
Now, a report from our friends at AutoWeek reveals that we may, possibly, hopefully see a production IDx, provided fans make a strong enough case for it. "It's in the plan," Nissan product boss Andy Palmer told AW. According to the report, Palmer said the IDx is "into the first sage of the development process. The next stage is project validation and then looking at the business case. It's no one's intent to waste millions of the company's money, so obviously we have a good feeling about this one."
