1987 Nissan 300ZX Turbo

94,500 miles

This car has been kept indoors and driven sparingly over the past ten years. The body is in great shape, although the paint could use a good professional buff job as some areas are beginning to fade. There are a few small dents and scratches, but nothing major. The interior is in good shape with one small tear in the driver's seat bottom. I've put approximately 600miles on it over the past few weeks, and its averaged 24mpg. There are a few items that I have noticed that are in need of repair or replacement. These include;

A/C needs recharge.

Cruise control lights up but does not engage.

Passenger window does not go up with the driver's side switch. Works fine from passenger side.

Factory radio works intermittently. Recommend replacing the radio and speakers with aftermarket.

Console lid hinge broken.

Passenger mirror cracked/broken.

Shifter is slightly off. Seems to be an adjustment issue.

Overall, the car runs and drives great. I was planning on keeping it for one of my kids to drive, but divorce forces sale. Please contact me with any questions. Buyers with a feedback score of less than 10, please contact me prior to bidding. This is a used car with no warranty expressed or implied. Seller reserves the right to end the auction at any time as the car is also for sale locally. Listed mileage on the car may change slightly as it is still being driven. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required via Paypal within 24hours of winning the auction.

Chrysler, Nissan looking into claim that their cars are industry's most hackable

Sun, 10 Aug 2014

A pair of cyber security experts have awarded the ignominious title of most hackable vehicles on American roads to the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, 2014 Infiniti Q50 and 2015 Cadillac Escalade.
Charlie Miller and Chris Valasek are set to release a report at the Black Hat hacking conference in Las Vegas, Automotive News reports. The two men found the Jeep, Caddy and Q50 were easiest to hack based not on actual tests with the vehicles, but a detailed analysis of systems like Bluetooth and wireless internet access - basically, anything that'd allow a hacker to remotely gain access to the vehicle's systems.
Considering this lack of hands-on testing, the pair acknowledge that "most hackable" could be a relative term - they point out that the vehicles may actually be quite secure.

2013 Nissan Pathfinder: April 2013

Not Just For Families
Since our long-term 2013 Nissan Pathfinder joined the Autoblog Garage in late December of last year, the only time I've really spent with it has been during the short periods of time between my co-workers' longer loans. Until now, my experiences with our Mocha Stone tester have been limited to pick-ups and drop-offs at various locations around the greater Michigan/Ohio area, not to mention keeping the vehicle clean inside and out, as well as handling our first bit of scheduled maintenance in late March.
I was pleased, then, to actually be able to spend most of the month of April with our Pathfinder, finally giving me a chance to see what everyone else does and does not like about Nissan's new crossover. But here's the thing: I'm admittedly not the ideal person to test a family-minded vehicle. I'm single and in my late twenties, so something like our other long-term car, the 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo, is better suited to meet my everyday needs.

YouTuber TJ Smith is your singing Lyft driver in Nissan Sentra ad

Fri, 11 Jul 2014

Perhaps you've seen Nissan's latest commercial, promoting the Sentra. It's a fairly simple little spot, showing the compact's driver blaring Billy Idol's Mony Mony, singing along and encouraging other motorists to join in.
We'd have been fine had it been left at that. It's a simple commercial that shows the car with a catchy tune and smiling people. Nissan couldn't leave well enough alone, though, and has come back with this. Starring TJ Smith - the driver from the original ad and an apparent YouTube celebrity famous for the kind of thing shown in the original commercial - the new ad expands on the old, with more people, and more Mony Mony. This time round, Smith is serving as a driver for the Lyft service, who just happens to break into song with his fares in the car.
Scroll down for the full video. If you've no idea what we're talking about, we've also included the original commercial.
