YOU ARE BIDDING ON A 1989 NISSAN 240 SX 2 DOOR COUPE. THIS IS NOT A HATCH BACK IT IS A COUPE. THE CAR HAS BEEN RUN HOT!!! ONLY HAS 87,383 ACTUAL MILES ON THE CAR. IT WILL TURN OVER BUT WILL NOT START. JUST DONT HAVE THE TIME OR MONEY TO REPAIR. IT IS A RARE AUTOMATIC CAR. MOST OF THESE WERE MANUAL TRANSMISSION. HAS THE 2400 4 CYL MOTOR, TILT, AC, POWER WINDOWS AND LOCKS, CRUISE CONTROL. CAR HAS A GREAT SOLID BODY ON IT AND THE INTERIOR IS IN GOOD SHAPE OTHER THAN NEEDING A GOOD CLEANING. THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT DRIFT CAR CAUSE IT IS REAR WHEEL DRIVE. THE WHEELS IN THE PICS ARE NO GOOD. THEY ARE BENT. DO HAVE THE STOCK STEEL WHEELS WITH THE HUBCAPS THAT CAME ON THE CAR THO. I HAVE NO IDEAS ON THE COST TO GET THIS CAR RUNNING BUT ITS TOO GOOD OF A CAR TO LET GO TO THE CRUSHER. HOPEFULLY SOMEBODY WILL PUT IT TO GOOD USE. THANKS FOR LOOKING AND PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. IF CAR IS PURCHASED I CAN POSSIBLY MEET YOU WITH DELIVERY OF IT IF ITS A REASONABLE DISTANCE FOR AN EXTRA FEE. CONTACT ME ABOUT THIS.

Dodge shows off the electric Charger, and is the Wrangler 392 done? | Autoblog Podcast #815
Fri, Jan 19 2024In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Road Test Editor Zac Palmer. They kick things off with a roundup of the week's news, and of course the first photos of a pre-production electric Dodge Charger Daytona are the first topic. After that, the pair chat about the possible demise of the Jeep Wrangler 392 via a Final Edition meant for 2025 and ruminate on if they'd be up for buying one of the many Teslas that Hertz is offing from its rental fleet for cheap. Once the news is wrapped, the two move along to what they've been driving, starting with the first drive of the 2024 Acura TLX Type S. Then, they welcome our new Subaru WRX long-term test car and review both the Nissan Altima SL AWD and Nissan Pathfinder Platinum. 2013 Nissan Juke Nismo
Tue, 07 May 2013Scratching All The Right Itches
Say what you will about the unconventional aesthetics that Nissan employed on the company's Juke. I love the thing. The universe has no shortage of ambiguously styled CUVs, and while I can't exactly say I would have turned to the amphibian world for design inspiration had it been me with the charcoal in my hand, I can certainly appreciate the fact that the Juke isn't just another box-on-box design.
And then there's that engine. The turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder under the hood is one of the best powerplants in the company's toy box, offering plenty of low-range torque and comical levels of thrust. Hell, it even makes the optional continuously variable transmission tolerable. Praise be to the deities of forced induction. But something has always been missing from the mix. From the first moment I got my hands on the Juke, I couldn't help but think how much better the machine would be if Nissan ditched an inch or two of ground clearance and sharpened up its suspension. Think more "hot hatch" and less "Kermit goes to Kroger."
Nissan ZEOD RC completes 24 laps at Le Mans
Fri, Jun 13 2014Well, that's a nice start. Nissan says a test version of its ZEOD RC racecar has completed its first 24 laps at Le Mans in France. And, aside from two "small technical issues," things went swimmingly. The ZEOD (which stands for "zero emissions on demand") RC pairs a 1.5-liter, three-cylinder engine with a couple of electric motors and includes regenerative braking. The Japanese automaker first started testing the vehicle last fall. The first ZEOD prototype was unveiled at Le Mans last summer. Driven by Wolfgang Reip and Tommy Erdos, the test-version ZEOD suffered from a broken fuel pump and faulty exhaust, but still completed "large sections" of the circuit on electric power alone, so Nissan is gonna call the test run a success. The goal, of course, is to complete a single, 8.5-mile lap at Le Mans purely on electric power. Nissan will test the real version of the ZEOD this week in the UK. Satoshi Motoyama and Lucas Ordonez will drive with Reip at the actual Le Mans race. Check out Nissan's press release below, and take a look (you can cringe a bit if you want) at a really cool crash-test video of the car from last month here. Nissan ZEOD RC on track at Le Mans for the first time SILVERSTONE, UK & LE MANS, FRANCE – The Nissan ZEOD RC completed its first 24 laps of Circuit de la Sarthe with GT Academy winner Wolfgang Reip and two-time Le Mans P2 winner Tommy Erdos at the wheel. While the car was delayed with two small technical issues – a broken fuel pump issue and a broken exhaust – today's test was an important step in the development of the car that aims to complete an entire lap of Le Mans on pure electric power. "Today has been a very important step in the development of the car and what we have achieved is actually quite remarkable," said NISMO's Global Head of Brand, Marketing & Sales, Darren Cox. "We knew we were tackling a huge challenge with the goal of building a car that could complete an entire 8.5 mile lap of Le Mans on nothing but electric power. We have certainly discovered why nobody has tackled it previously. "We completed large sections of the circuit today on EV power and learned a great deal," Cox continued. "Today was about testing the systems and ensuring the transition from electric to internal combustion power was seamless. Testing at other venues is extremely valuable but there is no substitute to running here at Le Mans.
