I have a silver 2006 Mitsubishi Galant for sale with approximately 172,000 highway miles. It has an automatic transmission, power windows/locks (front pass. power window currently not working), AC, 2.4 L 4 cyl, and an aftermarket SONY stereo that plays & conceals your iPod/iPhone inside the deck and has an auxilary input line as well. I also have the factory CD/Radio that you can have also in case you prefer to have the original put back in. I put brand new 70,000 mile Firestone tires on it last year, so they still have plenty of tread left on them. The car runs and drives perfectly. I have never had any mechanical issues with this car outside of normal maintenance. It averages around 26 -28 mpg, so it's a great commuter car. Very reliable and economical. It has dual air bags and front wheel drive. There is a little rust starting on the rear drivers side door, but outside of that, the body is in great shape and has never been in an accident. Also no flood/fire damage. This car was bought new by my girlfriend in 2006 and we have been the only ones to ever drive it. I have kept the oil changed regularly and the tires rotated. Tires come with free liftetime rotation warranty as well and I also have an extra full size spare that I'll throw in.

Mitsubishi Mirage bows in Montreal without a name, Canadian sales promised
Sun, 20 Jan 2013The Detroit Auto Show had plenty of major debuts for North American car buyers, but the Montreal Auto Show is being used for the North American debut of a new subcompact hatchback from Mitsubishi. Although this car is unnamed, it is almost identical to the redesigned Mirage we saw back at the 2011 Tokyo Auto Show (and has been on sale in Asian markets such as Thailand since last year), but it is unclear if the car will carry this name when it goes on sale for our neighbors to the north starting this fall.
Aside from a slightly less annoying shade the of green we saw the car painted in at the Tokyo show, there are a few changes made for the car's Canadian debut. The biggest difference is that it is almost three inches longer, which is likely a result of the new rear fascia that is also visually different with some altered lines and small, circular reflectors. Other changes include a bigger three-cylinder engine (with a 1.2-liter displacement instead of the Tokyo car's 1.0-liter engine) and headlights that have new amber lenses for side reflectors.
There is still no word as to whether or not we'll see this new car in Mitsubishi's US lineup anytime soon, but it does seem like a good competitor against cars like that Mazda2, Chevrolet Spark and Hyundai Accent.

Mitsubishi AR Concept continues a wacky, wonderful tradition [w/video]
Thu, 21 Nov 2013Mitsubishi enjoys a long history of thinking outside the literal box when it comes to designing minivans and people movers. Remember the Mitsubishi Van, a.k.a. Delica? How about the Chariot, better known to us as the Colt Vista? The Expo and Expo LRV, the twin models that succeeded it? These were all left-of-center takes on the MPV genre, and while they never sold in large volumes, we can't help but look back at them with a mix of bemusement and respect for their oddball character. Who knows? A production version of this AR Concept could be next.
According to Mitsubishi, "the comfort of a minivan and active personality of an SUV are merged at the highest levels" in the Concept AR. Us? We just think this mild hybrid concept looks kind of neat, even if it's just putting on off-road airs with its elevated ride hight, faux skid plates and black-lipped wheel wells.
Hardware-wise, this Active Runabout is less showcar and more 'real world,' with the front wheels drawing their power from a 134-horsepower, 1.1-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine paired with a 10-kW electric motor used as a belt starter generator (read: mild hybrid). A continuously variable transmission handles shifting duties.
