Hello, I'm selling my 2 door 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT with 171,100+ miles on it. NO ACCIDENTS EVER IN THIS CAR! I just received a new car for my birthday so no need for this one anymore. Has done me good though while I had it :) Has a clean title. It's a stick shift 5 speed and includes low profile 17" tires that were put on about 3,000 miles ago. Has an Injen cold air intake system, Tein coil overs, a custom Dupont Hot Rod Black paint job (no clear coat for nicer look), tan leather seats (front and back seats), sunroof, spoiler, Greddy racing clutch, nice black rims, tinted windows, key lock gas cap, car cover, 4 disc CD changer, moon roof, Shaved Door Handles (doors opens by remote), 2 sets of remotes & keys, electronic driver seat & electric windows, body kit with some carbon fiber, also carbon fiber on door handles inside, no warning lights are on in this car including check engine. Engine runs well. I changed the oil about 1,500 miles ago and it has been done on the car every 2,500 miles. I know the previous owner well and this car has only had 3 total owners including myself. I had the timing belt changed on the car 5 months ago about 3,000 miles ago, clutch flush done 2/8/2014. The two front wheel hub assemblies were replaced 3 months ago, and I had an oil leak fixed on it few months back. Shifts smooth, drives nice! I will only accept cash in person OR to personally meet you at local bank of your choice to PERSONALLY see you get a cashiers check or loan made out to me so I can verify its authenticity. NO OTHER METHODS EXCEPTED! Don't show up with a check already made out, I won't accept it. Has to be done AT THE BANK! Scammers beware, I won't tolerate your silly messages/calls! If you are local and would like to see it call me: 321 262 1523

****What's wrong on it you ask?******
The A/C doesn't work (needs compressor) I bought it like that and never really needed to use A/C in this car (to save gas) so it's up to you if you want to fix it but the weather in FL is nice enough to drive with windows down until you get it fixed. Heater works fine. There is a little bit of body damage to the side fender and side skirt on driver side (from speed bump). I had the car raised up a few inches since then to prevent further damage. Tein coil overs are awesome (keys included)! But its not that noticeable if you want to wait to get it fixed, doesn't effect the performance of the car.

Mitsubishi's crossover plan: New model coming to Geneva, Outlander PHEV finally on the way

Fri, Jan 6 2017

Mitsubishi announced last night that it will be concentrating on crossovers for the foreseeable future (which includes leaving the Lancer behind). That future starts at this year's Geneva show, where the company will reveal a completely new small crossover. This new vehicle, the name of which Mitsubishi didn't reveal, is planned to reach dealers in early spring of 2018. It will feature a new version of Mitsubishi's All Wheel Control (AWC) all-wheel drive and a new turbocharged engine that we're told was designed completely in-house. We expect the new crossover to share cues with recent Mitsubishi concepts, including the eX Concept and Ground Tourer, since Mitsubishi's general manager of design strategy Kazuo Yano said they will set the tone for future Mitsubishis. Don Swearingen, executive vice president and COO of Mitsubishi in North America, said this new vehicle is the "best vehicle Mitsubishi has ever produced." That may not be the tallest order given the automaker's recent models, but it's definitely a good goal. As for the size of this new crossover, it will probably be comparable to the current Outlander Sport. The plan is that the Outlander Sport and Outlander will be changing sizes in the coming years. The former will shrink and the latter will grow, leaving space in the middle for the new small crossover. There will be an awkward overlapping period, though, since we're told both Outlander flavors are scheduled for a mild refresh sometime next year that won't include size changes. The resized Outlander models will come sometime after that refresh. (If we're lucky, one will get a new name to reduce confusion, especially with a new model sitting between them.) Speaking of Outlanders, we now know when we will finally get the Outlander PHEV, a variant that has been promised and re-promised for years now. A Mitsubishi PR representative said that the plug-in hybrid crossover will be on sale in the US sometime in the next fiscal year. (For reference, Mitsubishi's current fiscal year ends this March.) Swearingen said it will also make its official debut later this year. So after many, many delays, the US will finally see Mitsubishi's plug-in crossover. We'll see if it's as big a sales success here as it is in Europe. Former Mitsubishi CEO Osamu Masuko dies at 71

Mon, Aug 31 2020

TOKYO — Former Mitsubishi Motors Chief Executive Osamu Masuko, who engineered the Japanese automakerÂ’s alliance with Nissan, has died. He was 71. Masuko was named a special adviser to the company when he resigned for health reasons as of Aug. 7. Mitsubishi said he died of heart failure on Aug. 27. Masuko joined with former Nissan Chairman Carlos Ghosn in forming an alliance in 2016. Ghosn was arrested and charged with alleged financial misconduct in late 2018, but skipped bail and fled to Lebanon. After he was named president of Mitsubishi Motors in 2005, Masuko worked hard to rebuild its brand image, which had been hammered by a massive, systematic and decades-long cover-up of defects that surfaced in the early 2000s. Calm and soft-spoken, Masuko came to symbolize Mitsubishi Motors' revitalization. Masuko had said he was stunned and saddened by Ghosn's arrest. “I still canÂ’t figure out why, and I just donÂ’t understand,” he told reporters then. Nissan Chief Executive Makoto Uchida offered his condolences. “His wisdom and foresight will remain as an inspiration to the automotive industry, and we will always honor his memory,” Uchida said, stressing his role in building the alliance as well as other contributions to the overall auto industry. Mitsubishi's alliance with Nissan and Renault of France was seen as an astute move, giving the automakers an edge in an increasingly competitive global market. “During his tenure for about 16 years at MMC, Masuko made great achievements by fully demonstrating his management skills, which also enabled the company to overcome difficulties,” Mitsubishi Motors said. Masuko helped build the companyÂ’s business in Southeast Asia, a key source of growth. He also aggressively pushed the development of greener models. Masuko studied political science and economics at Waseda University and did not have an engineering background. He joined trading company Mitsubishi Corp. in 1972. In 2004, he joined Mitsubishi Motors, which makes the Pajero and Outlander sport utility vehicles, as managing director of its overseas operations. Tokyo-based Mitsubishi Motors said it is not planning any special services, respecting MasukoÂ’s wishes. The family has already held a vigil and funeral, it said. Related Video:

2014 Mitsubishi Outlander unveiled with new look, standard seating for seven

Thu, 29 Nov 2012

The 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander wears the new face previewed at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, and adds a host of features on top of its seven standard chairs. Ditching the shark-nosed Lancer-inspired front has reduced drag, increased use of high-tensile steel means a 200-pound weight loss and the reworked 2.4-liter four-cylinder paired a CVT will all result in what Mitsubishi says is one of the most fuel-efficient vehicles in the seven-passenger segment. Looks-wise, around the rest of the vehicle come sharper sculpting and more character lines.
Reaching higher inside, the IP is now soft-touch, and a heavily restyled interior with woodgrain accents is more somber, but more elegant. Mod-cons have gone up a step, too: the 2014 Outlander getting a next-generation nav system, a power tailgate that can be opened from the driver's seat and safety tech like Lane Departure Warning.
There's a press release below with more info, and high-res shots from the LA Auto Show floor above.
