I have for sale a perfect running 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse. The car currently has 58,820 miles which is nothing for a car like this. I have invested a ton of money into the car and would not hesitate to drive the car across country! I bought this car in August 2013 from a friend who is a mechanic. The car was always maintained and it shows. Engine: 58200 Miles New Starter ( replaced 3 months ago) Brake pads (replaced 3 months ago) Oil change Tires are 5000 miles Fuel Economy (CTY/HWY) 23/28 mpg Interior: Power Steering Side Air Bag System Cruise Control Front Head Rests Rear Spoiler Anti Theft/Security System Auto Headlight On/Off Dual Air Bags Reading Light(s) Vanity Mirrors EBD Electronic Brake Dist Anti-Theft Device(s) Power Outlet(s) Airbag Deactivation Cargo Cover Power Windows Multi-Function Steering Wheel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) Traction Control System Tachometer Air Conditioning Remote Power Door Locks Tinted or Privacy Glass Exterior: Intermittent Wipers Rear Window Defroster Tire Pressure Monitor Power Mirrors Daytime Running Lights The bad: Small crack in front bumper (barely noticeable) This has been my favorite car and runs awesome. The car starts in the coldest weather and never overheats. The only reason I'm selling the car is because I am going back to college and I need the money. Trust me, i don't want to sell this car!!!!!! I have spent close to $2000 in parts to keep her up to date, the car needs nothing done on it! Im asking 8200 as is. The car is under blue book value. If you want a reliable, excellent running mitsubishi eclipse 2006 this is for you. These cars run forever and parts are cheap. |

Mitsubishi wants to bring a plug-in hybrid Montero to the US
Fri, 27 Dec 2013As Mitsubishi's turnaround takes hold, we can talk less about the company's survival in the US market and more about what kinds of products we might see in the future: there's a hybrid Evo on the way and its joint venture with Renault-Nissan will deliver a C-segment sedan. Furthermore, it might even deliver a dividend to its shareholders next year.
In addition to Mitsubishi announcing its intent to focus on SUVs, pickup trucks and crossovers, company president Osamu Masuko gave an interview to Automotive News saying that the plan is for model lines to have two or three power train options: gas, plug-in hybrid, diesel. Believing that fuel economy standards will force the expansion of the plug-in hybrid market, Masuko wants to bring a PHEV Pajero to the US (the Montero in our market) because it will restore the brand's place in the full-size SUV segment with a well known nameplate, and help the company reach its goal of making PHEVs 20 percent of its product offering.
We love the idea of a new Montero - and we hope there's a traditional gas model that would come with the PHEV - the question is what would it look like? The Concept GC-PHEV we saw at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show could offer clues, but with Masuko listing the SUV as the company's second most popular model behind pickups, how daring could designers get with it? On the other hand, if you compare the Concept PX-MiEV shown at Tokyo in 2011, the similarity to the production Outlander is more than one might expect for a crossover that's become a major seller for the brand. With an introduction due in 2015 or 2016, we shouldn't have to wait long to find out. Regrettably, there's still no word on the return of a Mitsubishi pickup truck.
Mitsubishi Concept GR-HEV brings diesel hybrid efficiency to the pickup game
Tue, 05 Mar 2013Mitsubishi unveiled its Concept GR-HEV at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Branded a "Sport Utility Hybrid Truck," the concept mates a 2.5-liter clean diesel engine with a front-mounted electric motor for a more efficient one-ton pickup. Complete with an automatic transmission mated to a full-time four-wheel-drive system, the GR-HEV is designed to make hybrid technology attractive to buyers beyond the traditional compact car market. Mitsubishi says the vehicle's drivetrain is good for CO2 emissions of 149 grams per kilometer. For comparison's sake, the global 2012 Ford Ranger emits 264 g/km when equipped with the 3.2-liter turbo-diesel engine and a six-speed manual transmission.
Designed to be both more simple and less expensive than electric, plug-in hybrid or standard hybrid work vehicles, the GR-HEV would theoretically yield both the instant torque of a hybrid and the range of a traditional diesel.
