This car was purchased just a few months ago. I have since decided I would like a different car. This is a daily driver, so miles will continue to raise from that of the above stated miles.
I purchased the remainder of the Premium Ford Care Plan, which is good until it hits 100,000 miles or August 2013. Whichever comes first.
The following has been done to the vehicle:
Transmission fluid flush.
Power steering flush.
Replace purge solenoid.
Replaced battery with Carquest Extreme.
Replace windshield wiper motor.
The brake pads were replaced by the dealer before I received the car at miles 86,000.
The A/C system was serviced by the dealership before sale, and is being re-serviced shortly to insure optimum performance.
Replace front windshield.
Replace wiper cowl.
Replace drivers side door and window.
Replaced windshield wipers, front and rear.
Alignment was done within the last 500 miles.
New (*non-studded) Firestone WinterForce tires. Have roughly 3000 miles on them.
Oil was changed with Mobil 1 Extended Full Synthetic and a K&N filter less then 1000 miles ago.
Install K&N Typhoon intake system.
Install HKS Hi-Power exhaust.
Install Mishimoto (RetroFitSource) hi/low 6000k HID kit (Disabled DRLs)
The audio system was replaced with an aftermarket system. The CD player is a Kenwood Excelon X396, Infinity Refference 6030cs in the front, and JBL GTO 8inch subwoofer in the trunk area. The wiring used is Kicker.
I have the stock radio, and stock front speakers with all attachments and wiring in tact. The rear speakers are still installed.
It also has an aftermarket remote start unit that has no remotes, appears to functional and all wiring as it should....a shop could hook it back up, and get you the remotes.
I also purchased Gates timing belt kit, which I intended to install shortly after the warranty expired, this will be included in the sale.
Notes--
The windshield was replaced due to dealership fault when they replaced the wiper motor. The door is being replaced as this is being listed. It was involved in a low speed accident, and has been cleared of any hidden and structural damages other then the door.
I am due to obtain the car on 3/18/2013
Interior has no rips or tears. Has a few singe marks from previous owner, but no holes. Does not smell like smoke. Interior has scratching in the trunk area and in the back seats, plastic area.
Dash is in fantastic shape, and was recently detailed.
I have paperwork for all repairs, and the past history of repairs on this vehicle.
The car's paint will be fixed detailed before it is returned to me, and will the entire left side painted.
This car is being sold as is, with no warranties implied by myself. The existing Ford Premium Car warranty will be transferred to you upon full payment.
Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I will assist as best I can,
This vehicle has a lien against it, and payment will have to be paid in full before I can release car and deliver title.
Any questions, please ask.

2016 Mitsubishi Lancer adds features, loses Ralliart
Wed, Sep 30 2015The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution may be going away, but the base car is sticking around for the foreseeable future, as evidenced by a host of changes for the 2016 model year. The same basic look has been updated with a bolder front bumper that features vertical LED accents. The rear end, though, looks totally free of any significant changes. The profile gets some small updates, including mirrors with integrated turn signals and a flashy (optional) set of 18-inch wheels. The Lancer's cabin gets a similarly modest array of upgrades, including standard USB connectivity in a redesigned center console, standard display audio, and a redesigned, optional infotainment system. In addition to the new standard features Mitsu will offer a color LCD display in the instrument cluster, the LED running lights, and automatic air conditioning on the base ES trim. Mechanically, Mitsubishi has expanded the availability of its snappy All-Wheel Control all-wheel-drive system. Not only will it be offered on as standard on the carried-over SE and new SEL trim, but it can be snagged as an option on the base ES trim. All AWD-equipped cars will feature the same CVT8 offered on the Outlander Sport and Outlander, although front-drive trims, the base ES, and the more aggressively styled GT, will offer a five-speed manual as standard. Despite the new CVT, the engine lineup is unchanged for 2016, with the base ES using a 2.0-liter, 148-hp four-cylinder, while all other trims get a more robust, 168-hp, 2.4-liter mill. And now, the bad news. Just as there will be no more Lancer Evolution, Mitsubishi has dropped the lukewarm Lancer Ralliart. Slotting in between the Evo and the Lancer GT, the Ralliart offered all-wheel-drive, turbocharged power, and the Evo's dual-clutch transmission, along with a dose of its big brother's style. Prices get a tiny bump for 2016, with the Lancer's base price jumping up $200, to $18,405. Adding a CVT increases the price by $1,000, while all-wheel drive requires another $400. The AWD-only SE starts at $21,805, while the SEL demands another $1,000. Finally, the top-end GT starts at $23,305 for a five-speed stick, or $24,305 for the CVT model. Read on for the official press release from Mitsubishi, and be sure to check out the updated Lancer in the gallery, up top.
Future Classic: 1990-2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse
Thu, Jun 22 2023It was meant to be a premiere partnership, pregnant with possibilities: the alliance of a pair of global automotive powerhouses from Japan and America. Eventually the merger gave birth to a trio of highly-regarded sports coupes: the Mitsubishi Eclipse, the Eagle Talon and the Plymouth Laser, cars developed by the company that became Diamond-Star Motors. Although DSM’s beginnings can be traced back to a flirtation in 1970, when Chrysler Corporation took a 15-percent stake in Mitsubishi Motors, the partnership later culminated in a formal pairing in 1985. It was good timing: Chrysler was emerging from near-bankruptcy; the Japanese company just didnÂ’t have anything to please U.S. buyers, and with government-imposed “voluntary” import quotas, its supply lines were broadly restricted. Chrysler, looking to expand its lines, built a plant in Normal, Illinois, but, although Chrysler put up half the $650 million for the facility, it left management to Mitsubishi. And the Japanese facilities provided engines and transmissions. By the end of 1989, production of the Diamond-Star triplets — the Laser, Eclipse and Talon — was in full swing. The Eclipse, supposedly named for an unbeaten 18th-century English racehorse that won 18 races in a row, was the shining star of the line. Because of its long run in series production, the genealogy of the Eclipse is worth discussing. Initially the car, designed at the Mitsubishi Motors North America Design Studio and introduced in 1990, was available in four trim levels: Eclipse, Eclipse GS, Eclipse GS-T (Turbo) and Eclipse GSX. It evolved first as a two-door coupe, later as a convertible or liftback, with front-wheel or all-wheel drive, and with engine choices including naturally aspirated fours, turbocharged fours and V6 options. One really needs a scorecard to chart the generations: 1st Gen (1990-1994), 2nd Gen (1995-1999), 3rd Gen (2000-2005), and 4th Gen (2006-2012). Before the EclipseÂ…well, was eclipsed, buyers of the third and fourth-gen cars could specify a 3.8L V6 engine as well as a four. This swank 2+2 sports car and its nearly identical cousin, the Eagle Talon TSi, emerged as hot rods for the Nineties, and tuners gave them full props for power.
Mitsubishi could use Lancer Sportback name on its version of the Nissan Leaf
Thu, Jun 20 2024Various reports might help with filling in some of the blanks in Mitsubishi's Momentum 2030 plan. That's the automaker's new initiative we heard about last month that Mitsubishi North America President and CEO Mark Chaffin said is "setting the stage for new powertrains and vehicles being introduced, new dealerships being opened, and new technologies being developed to make the shopping and ownership experience faster, easier and more enjoyable." The first hints of new product suggested a rugged plug-in hybrid van, something else in the Subaru Outback segment, and perhaps an electric pickup. And after Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance partner Nissan introduces a new-generation Leaf EV for the 2026 model year, Mitsubishi's supposed to get the Leaf for its own use. Based on a recent trademark renewal, Australian outlet Which Car? via Car and Driver suspects this EV (highlighted in the image above) could be called Lancer Sportback. Car and Driver caught the fact that Mitsubishi renewed a trademark application for the name Lancer Sportback at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on March 12 of this year. And speaking of Lancers, the Japanese automaker applied to trademark Lancer Evolution on August 8 last year. The USPTO refused the registration, Mitsubishi filed an appeal that's still under consideration.  Which Car? doesn't say why it believes Mitsu might apply the Lancer (requested in 2020) or Lancer Sportback name to its little EV, but notes that the automaker's been reusing names around the world of late, such as Airtrek, Colt, Eclipse, and Eclipse Cross. There's more where that came from for us, C/D also tabbing Mitsubishi's trademark application for the name Montero, submitted last August and approved in February. That 4x4 launched as the Pajero in 1981 and sold in the U.S. as the Montero (and the Dodge Raider). The carmaker hasn't sold a Montero here since 2006, and ended Pajero production in 2021. A new model called the Pajero Sport filled the gap in the lineup, but that SUV is based on Mitsubishi's Triton pickup sold in overseas markets. We've got a while to wait to figure out what's up. The new Leaf is expected to be a mini Nissan Ariya based on Nissan's Chill-Out concept from last year's Tokyo Mobility Show. The image above is from the Momentum 2030 announcement, the little crossover we've highlighted has a DRL signature that fits the form factor.
