Mitsubishi Eclipse GT 2000 6 Cylinder 3.0 L Engine Slap Shift Silver The car is like new and almost everything on it is aftermarket. The car has 158,000 miles on it but don't let that number fool you it has been babied for the time I have owned it and runs great. It has brand new brakes put on this year and brand new rotors put on the right side. Any questions please ask or come and take it for a test drive. I am looking to either get a new eclipse a spyder preferably or a standard car at that. The whole interior is painted and customized black and red so I hope to get another car to flip it and do the same to it. Everything runs great on the car and would not be selling it other wise. I will talk lower if you really want it and are willing to come to me instead of meeting. I want to get another car to flip to see what I can do with similar cars. The car as shown in the photo is in a parking garage and has been since I had the car. Mitsubishi boss labels French minister a "retard" for "ruining the lives of motorists" [UPDATE]
Thu, 25 Oct 2012Arnaud Montebourg (pictured), French Minister of Industrial Recovery, was recently the target of a rather despicable slur at the hands of Mitsubishi France's leader, Jean-Claude Debard.
Frustrated by Montebourg's attempts to encourage the purchase of lower emitting vehicles and discourage use of high-emission vehicles - by way of tax breaks and tax hikes, respectively - Debard reportedly used the occasion of a new product launch to call the minister "stupid," a "mental case" and a "retard" before members of the media. Here's the full quote, as reported by the French newspaper La Provence by way of The Telegraph:
"This mental case, this retard, increases ecological taxes, reduces the speed motorists can go on Paris' ring road and ruins the life of motorists from all social origins all suffer as a result of him. He is stupid and understands nothing, you can quote me on that."
Mitsubishi CA-MiEV and GR-HEV concepts peek out before debut
Mon, 04 Mar 2013We're getting a look at the two star Mitsubishi concept cars from this year's Geneva soiree, just ahead of the official debut for both. As suits Mitsubishi's ever-deepening interest in electrified vehicles, the brace of concepts both make use of electric drive: the CA-MiEV being a pure electric vehicle and the GR-HEV using a diesel-electric powertrain.
The CA-MiEV concept car may look a bit like a photoshopped Toyota Prius, but in fact the car employs a new electric motor and battery system from Mitsu. We're told that the EV has a theoretical range of 186 miles, which is nearly double the range of most EVs on the market today and approaches Tesla territory. The vehicle is larger than the company's current i-MiEV, and would seem to point the way forward for a more mainstream production EV from Mitsu.
The second concept, a rather odd-looking pickup truck called the GR-HEV, has a diesel engine, electric motor, all-wheel drive, and Mitsubishi's Super All Wheel Control. The front fascia bears a version of the grille we've seen on the new Outlander PHEV, with more radically raked (sort of "smiling") lighting elements.
Mitsubishi Mirage G4 sedan debuting in Montreal
Thu, 09 Jan 2014Around this same time last year, Mitsubishi used the Montreal Auto Show for the North American introduction of its 2014 Mirage. This year, the Japanese automaker will reveal the sedan version of the subcompact wearing the Mirage G4 nameplate, according to the auto show's website and a couple of fresh teaser images.
We got our first look at this Mirage sedan as previewed by the Concept G4 at the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, and the production version of that sedan ended up wearing the Attrage name in Thailand and other global markets. There's no official information from Mitsubishi at this time about the Mirage G4, but we wouldn't be surprised to see the small sedan follow the same path as the hatchback, showing up for a US debut at the New York Auto Show before going on sale in the fall.
