Up for sale is a 2003 Supercharged Mini Cooper S Model. The Mini is equipped with a 6 speed manual transmission and a powerful 1.6L Supercharged 4 cylinder engine, yielding outstanding performance as well as phenomenal fuel efficiency. The Mini Cooper has a few bolt on parts, but for the most part remains stock. A supercharger pulley has been added as well as an Air Intake from Alta Performance. The fuel pump and fuel sending unit have also been replaced recently along with the bolt on's. The engine has been maintained with Mobile 1 Full Synthetic 20W50 oil and changed religiously at 3,000 miles. The power steering on the car has been removed and eliminated as well. Power Steering could be simply added back with the purchase of a new pump and about an hour's time to install, very easy to do, if the buyer so chooses to.

The vehicle has been professionally plasti-dipped (dipyourcar.com for further info on this), giving it the nice matte black finish you see. Cosmetically, the car is in very good shape, a couple key areas are a crack on the right front bumper and clear coat on the top of the spoiler peeling. Aside from these two items, the body is in great shape. The interior of the car is very clean, does show a little bit of scrapes on the back plastic of the seats from carrying items in the back of the car. The passenger side seat has a concern with the recline feature of the seat. The seat will still move back and forth and recline forward to access the back seat, just cannot recline backwards. Lastly on the list of needs is the left rear hatch shock needs to be replaced ($20 part and 5 mins to install).

I hope this clears up as many questions as possible, but if you have any further questions, please let me know.

28 "flexible ladies" cram into a Mini Cooper [w/video]

Sat, 17 Nov 2012

The Mini Cooper is now confirmed as a great car with which to pick up chicks-up to 28 of them at a time, to be specific. That's the number of limber ladies you can fit in a Mini, as proven earlier this week in London.
The flexible females used every available space in the car, including the footwells and dashboard, to set the Guinness World Record for the most people inside a 2012 Mini. They beat their own previous record of 27, set last year.
Organizer Dani Maynard said before the attempt that the girls had undergone extra training and stretching since last year's record-breaking stunt. "While we have not quite been able to fit any of the girls into the Mini's glove box, there is a surprising amount of space to utilise," she told UK news site Metro.

Mini's Superleggera concept could see production; here's what it might look like

Fri, 30 May 2014

We fell in love with the Mini Superleggera Vision Concept from the moment we laid eyes on it. The little convertible blends retro and modern together better than any Mini in years. There is even more good news about the roadster as well because the company is considering actually building it. We even have some renders of what the production version could look like.
Mini boss Peter Schwarzenbauer tells Automotive News at the 2014 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, that the Superleggera might have a life beyond its debut. "We wanted to test how Mini enthusiasts worldwide were reacting to such a different type of Mini. So far, it has re
ceived overwhelming appreciation," he said to AN. But here's the bad news. All of the unique elements of the droptop wouldn't be cheap to build. Pricing would likely be around 35,000 euros if BMW gives it the green light, according to Schwarzenbauer. It's too early to know whether the road car would use the electric motor from the concept or something more conventional.

2015 Mini Cooper snapped uncovered on the road

Mon, 30 Sep 2013

The third generation of reborn Mini is nearly upon us. Just look at the trail of breadcrumbs the Anglo-Saxon automaker has been leaving us.
First we saw the upcoming new Mini Cooper, spied from above at a photo shoot, which Mini was quick to point out was not its best angle. Then BMW's retro-hatch division showcased the Mini Vision concept, and followed up just yesterday with details of the new engines and chassis that will underpin the latest model. And now we have the clearest batch of spy shots we've seen yet.
Not only were these shots taken from a better angle, but also show the new Mini in the more tempting Cooper S trim - complete with hood scoop, split-spoke alloys, roof spoiler and twin central exhaust tips.
