This is a fully-loaded, 2012 Mini Cooper S hardtop. I purchased the car brand new in September of 2011 at Mini of Universal City and it's about as close as you'll get to a John Cooper Works model (minus a suede dashboard, which, c'mon). The car is still under the 3-year/36,000 mile Mini Maintenance program and is also protected with the following warranties:

- 4-year/50,000 mile Limited Warranty
- 12-year/Rust Perforation Limited Warranty
- 4-year/Unlimited Mileage Roadside Assistance Program

I have all the service records from regular maintenance. Both the front and back brakes are new as of December 2013. She's spent most of her life garaged, and the condition of the car is very good to excellent. The inside of the car is immaculate. Fuel economy is excellent, rated at 26 city mpg and 34 highway. I would keep her forever but we have a baby on the way and need something bigger.

This next part is very important: I still owe money on the car so I do not have possession of the title. If you are interested in purchasing the Mini, you must understand that once a winning bid has been placed and the funds have been successfully transferred to me, I will be sending the balance of the loan amount to my financial institution, at which point they have advised me that it will take approximately 5 business days to send the title back to me. Once the title is in my possession, I will sign it over to you immediately. If you have any questions about this, I'd be happy to answer them, but because of my own financial situation, this is how the transaction will have to happen.

If all this works for you, great. You won't regret it. Here's the list of options from the original sticker:

Midnight Black Metallic
Leather Punch Carbon Black

I think that's all. This is a beautiful, fast, fun car. It's available for test drives in the LA area. Feel free to ask me any questions about the car.

Mini JCW Convertible spied looking cold

Fri, Mar 13 2015

The Mini Convertible John Cooper Works has stripped off almost all of the camo it was wearing when we last saw it a few months back. There's not much left to the imagination anymore, and all that remains are some swirls to hide a little of the hood and rear. As expected, the entire front end, rear bumper, central exhausts and subtly flared wheel arches come directly from the JCW take on the two-door Hardtop. Except for the Convertible's repositioned antenna and lowering top, the two models are essentially the same on the outside. With the standard, third-gen Mini droptop not actually unveiled yet, all of the camouflage at the back is likely there to hide the way the roof folds down. Under the hood, expect the latest JCW 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing 228 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque with a choice of six-speed manual or automatic gearboxes. Of course, the Convertible also adds the thrill of tipping the throttle with the top down. Mini hasn't hinted at a reveal date for the latest Convertible yet. However, these shots suggest development is at a fairly advanced state, so an official debut is likely not too far off. Related Video:

2016 John Cooper Works Clubman is torquiest Mini ever

Wed, Sep 21 2016

Mini fancies its latest Clubman as more an executive car than a typical premium compact. Think BMW 5 Series to the regular Hardtop's 3 Series. With that in mind, you can think of the new John Cooper Works Clubman as a Mini M5 of sorts. The new JCW Clubman boasts a number of features not offered on its little brothers. Mini engineers are squeezing 228 horsepower out of the 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder, just like on the Hardtop model. But the bigger John Cooper Works gets a significant bump in torque, up from 236 pound-feet of torque to a more robust 258 lb-ft. And with a standard All4 all-wheel-drive system, the JCW Clubman maximizes the ability to deploy that extra power. View 15 Photos Regardless of transmission, the new Works model hits 60 in 6.0 seconds and runs up to 147 miles per hour, 0.9 seconds quicker and five miles per hour faster than the S model we drove last year. A sportier suspension, meanwhile, drops the ride height 0.4 inches, so expect at least slightly better handling from Mini's newest Works model. Exclusive two-piece sport seats should keep drivers in place while exercising the newfound handling ability. But beyond the extra power, all-wheel drive, upgraded suspension, and neat seats, the JCW Clubman is largely a mishmash of parts we know and like. It uses the same standard six-speed manual and optional eight-speed automatic as the regular car, while the polarizing six-doored body wears the usual JCW tinsel – 18-inch wheels and a more aggressive body kit that promises better engine and brake cooling. And it still has a weight problem – the new car weighs in just under 3,500 pounds to the standard car's 3,300-pound curb weight. Mini hasn't published pricing, but if the trend set by the Hardtop and Convertible continues, we'd wager the new JCW will start around $35,500, tacking $6,000 onto the S model's $29,450. Well, at least Mini has the executive-level pricing down. The John Cooper Works Clubman should hit US dealers in December. Mini Clubman Bond Street is as special as they come

Wed, 06 Mar 2013

Mini is committed to applying the brand's trademark special-edition formula to the company's long roof. The Clubman Bond Street bowed under the lights of the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, complete with its unique black-and-champagne color scheme. Like the Mayfair and Camden and Bayswater and Baker Street special editions that came before it, the Bond Street pays homage to a famous London street with mirror caps and a roof dipped in contrasting paint. The Cool Champagne color pops against the body's Midnight Black Metallic, and buyers can expect to find a set of 17-inch alloy wheels on hand as well.
Inside, the Clubman Bond Street gets Carbon Black leather seating with Deep Champagne accents. Each Bond Street comes equipped with the Chrome Line package. Under the hood, a 122-horsepower gasoline four-cylinder serves up thrust, though a 143-horsepower turbo-diesel mill can also be had for a little extra coin. Check out the full press release below for more information.
