A truely rare find, this was one of the first Mini Roadster JCW editions produced. In fact, when I went looking for one there were only two in the entire San Francisco Bay area. This is my second Mini and as you can tell, I take exceptional care of my cars. She’s been garaged kept her whole life.
From the British Panther leather seats to the MacPherson strut and suspension, this thing little pocket rocket is the ultimate combination of fun, speed, and handling. The JCW setup stiffens the suspension and lowers the car a full 10 millimeters. It’s loaded with cold weather and tech packages and the hard to find black rims. All totalled, there’s over to $16k in upgrades. I’ve invested over $50k in this car. This is a rare find and it won't last long. Use buy it now and I’ll include a custom fit red car cover ($500 value). This vehicle also includes full service for 3yrs or 36k miles, a 5yr extended warranty, and a dent and ding warranty—you get a ding, Steven’s Creek Mini will fix for free. You'll may notice the car has aluminum floor mats. These are track mats made by Reenline, a high performance racing parts company specializing in BMW, Mini, and Porsche. I removed the factory wool carpets the day I purchased the car and stored them. The original mats have never been used in the car. The track mats and racing pedal conversion kit are a $750 upgrade. This thing turns heads every where I go and it's a blast to drive. I've owned Audi's, BMW 3 series, BMW X5 M class, a Mini Cooper JCW hardtop and this Mini Cooper JCW Roadster. See a trend? Yeah, I like cars that drive and handle well. Of all the cars I've owned, this one has been the most fun to drive. I've never really kept a car for longer than 3 years. Here's your chance to get an extremely rare, hard to find, well cared for, tripped out roadster. One lucky winner is going to be extremely happy! Here's a list of upgrades:

Upcoming Mini 5-door hatch spied in the snow
Mon, 17 Feb 2014We are about to get a flood of new Mini models now that the new 2014 model is officially out. In just the past few months, we've seen spy shots of the next-generation John Cooper Works and so-called Traveler crossover, and here we have the upcoming five-door hatchback in Cooper S form, a model that, like the Traveler, is expected to effectively obviate the need for the slow-selling Clubman.
Mini is not exactly hiding that this is a new five-door model, even with its camouflage - the rear door line and handle are clear as day. Also, compared to the three-door Cooper Hardtop, there appears to be an added pillar and additional length at the rear. The hatch also appears to be mounted at a steeper angle than the standard Mini. Also, you have to admit that the Mickey-Mouse-ear fog lights are cute, even if Mini would never actually sell it that way.
Expect to see even more variants soon, if BMW and Mini want to reach their goal of selling over a million front-wheel drive vehicles - an earlier report indicated there could be as many as 23 front-wheel drive cars from the brands in the coming years.
Mini John Cooper Works Paceman is a potent little hot hatch in a fat suit
Mon, 14 Jan 2013If there's one thing we're never going to complain about, it's that Mini has found it necessary to put the John Cooper Works treatment on every single one of its models. We love the JCW package across the board, and the final installment of the high-performance chapter (for now, anyway) comes in the form of the John Cooper Works Paceman, debuting here at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.
The John Cooper Works formula hasn't been altered in any way here, and like the JCW Countryman on which the Paceman is based, it comes standard with Mini's All4 all-wheel-drive system. We're sure it'll be a total hoot, and with 218 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque on tap, how could it not?
Look for the Mini JCW Paceman to hit dealerships in March of this year. Need to know more? Scroll down.
Mini might not replace Paceman, Coupe, Roadster
Tue, 11 Mar 2014Nobody could argue at this point that Mini (like its parent company BMW) has not mastered the art (if you could call it that) of filling every niche with its own model. But with the third generation of Mini now upon us, some of the company's strategists are asking themselves what the point is of it all.
The outgoing second-generation Mini spawned too many variants to count. So far the new model has only surfaced in hatchback form, but the brand may roll out quite as many variants this time around. Instead it is looking at its lineup in terms of pillars.
The quintessential hatchback we've already seen would be one pillar. The Countryman crossover would be another. And the production version of the new Clubman concept which Mini displayed in Geneva would be a third. A convertible based (like the existing one and the one that came before it) on the hardtop hatchback is likely to follow, but don't expect too many other versions.
