Up for sale is a 2010 Mini Cooper S Camden 50th Anniversary Edition. Mint condition with only 30,500 miles. All stock, never race or abused. This is a very low volume production to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Mini brand. A truly collectible car.
Available solely on 2010 Mini Cooper and Cooper S three-doors and named for a tiny North London neighborhood, this special edition consists of one of three metallic paint colors (This one is Silver White). Basic features: - 6-speed Manual Transmission - Heated seats - Xenon headlight with washer - Roof deck spoiler - DTC Other Special features: - Harman/Kardon audio system - 17-inch special edition wheels - Mission Control (I never used) Mini Cooper enthusiast features: - No sunroof - No Run Flat Tires - Spare and jack included - Sport and normal modes Background: I am the second owner of this car. Purchased it 2 years ago as an off lease car in Atlanta Georgia (no snow and salt) and drove it back to NJ. It had 20K miles. I put on a little over 10K miles in 2 years. (It's been my second car). 2013 Mini Cooper S Paceman All4
Thu, 14 Feb 2013In just over a decade, Mini has expanded its modern range from the singular Hardtop model (launched in 2002) to a full range of little runabouts. The latest of these is the Paceman, and while European Editor Matt Davis gave us the full scoop on this model late last year, we recently spent time with the all-wheel-drive model just outside of Ponce, Puerto Rico.
It's weird, this Paceman. It slots in between the Hardtop and the Countryman (on which its based) in terms of size and functionality, and Mini says that it will appeal to a more style-conscious shopper. Key competitors range anywhere from the Nissan Juke on the low end to the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque on the high end.
After spending lots of time with the Countryman, we're convinced that maxi can still be Mini. And the same is true with this Paceman, too.

Sun, 01 Sep 2013Ask anyone that's driven a classic Mini, and they'll probably tell you that their first reaction to driving it was a lot like the start of this video - whooping, shouting, laughing and a whole lot of smiling. This video, from Jon Quirk, editor-in-chief at Auto Trader UK, highlights the connection between him and his Rover Mini Paul Smith. He really nails the man-machine interface that makes owning a great car so much fun. Besides that, Quirk does a good job of enumerating what is so enjoyable about driving a fun car on a twisting road.

Mini forgets to bring car to LA, shows Citysurfer concept scooter
Wed, 19 Nov 2014See that red thing? It's the Mini Citysurfer Concept. It is not, in case you were wondering, an automobile. Yet despite this apparent shortcoming, Mini has placed it on a plinth at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show.
The electric scooter weighs in at 40 pounds, can hit 15 miles per hour, cover 10 to 15 miles and can be folded up and charged in the trunk of a Mini Cooper (or any other vehicle with a 12-volt outlet and a roomy enough cargo area). According to the British marque, these qualities will give the scooter's owner the "spontaneous and convenient mobility even in those sections of an urban area not accessible to motorized vehicles."
It's not terribly difficult to see the appeal, as Mini explains it. With urban congestion becoming an increasingly serious problem - and some cities beginning to ban cars outright - the idea of an easy to charge and easy to stow runabout is extremely attractive. That's doubly true in the case of the Citysurfer, which is rather well equipped, as far as scooters go.
