I am selling my 2005 Mini Cooper with Clean Title in hand. The car is in great shape, with dual sun roof, nice paint, interior, and tires with 90% tread left (look at pictures). The Bad... the transmission needs work,I do not know what is wrong exactly because I have not taken it to the mechanic and just plainly don't want to deal with it as i bought another car already. My son drove it since i felt something wrong with it and he isn't a mechanic either but said he feels the 1st gear slips and jerks a little, but if you start in 2nd and up it seems to drive fine. The Passenger side air bag light comes on from time to time. Driver side door doesn't open with the remote. The car has just been siting for 3 months now,and the car battery is dead now !. and i have decided to get rid of it. The Car is sold AS IS with NO Warranty OR Refunds. Buyer assumes responsibility for all the transport cost of this vehicle. This Vehicule is in Las Vegas, NV. interested buyers are welcomed to come look at the car by appointment. Mini Paceman modified by Roberto Cavalli for annual Life Ball charity
Fri, 10 May 2013This year's award for Life Ball Mini designer goes to Roberto Cavalli. The Life Ball is a charity event held in Vienna, Austria every year that raises money to fight the spread of HIV and AIDS. Since 2001, the year of its reintroduction, Mini has been involved with the ball, auctioning a car that has been made over by a world-famous designer. This year Cavalli gets the nod and a Paceman for a canvas.
The iridescent brown/black paint is the eye-catcher in the sketch above (click to enlarge), but don't forget to note Cavalli's logo on the roof. We're not sure what other flourishes he has in mind for the car, but those in attendance will find out on May 24 when it's unveiled at the Cavalli store opening in Vienna. Mini Clubman Bond Street is as special as they come
Wed, 06 Mar 2013Mini is committed to applying the brand's trademark special-edition formula to the company's long roof. The Clubman Bond Street bowed under the lights of the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, complete with its unique black-and-champagne color scheme. Like the Mayfair and Camden and Bayswater and Baker Street special editions that came before it, the Bond Street pays homage to a famous London street with mirror caps and a roof dipped in contrasting paint. The Cool Champagne color pops against the body's Midnight Black Metallic, and buyers can expect to find a set of 17-inch alloy wheels on hand as well.
Inside, the Clubman Bond Street gets Carbon Black leather seating with Deep Champagne accents. Each Bond Street comes equipped with the Chrome Line package. Under the hood, a 122-horsepower gasoline four-cylinder serves up thrust, though a 143-horsepower turbo-diesel mill can also be had for a little extra coin. 2015 Mini Hardtop 5-Door isn't for the country, man [w/video]
Thu, 02 Oct 2014We've seen it in super high-res glory, and we can even build one on the automaker's website, but the Paris Motor Show marks the official coming out party for the new Mini Hardtop 4 Door (which is what it's called in the US, despite this Euro car having "5 Door" badging). It's a stretched version of the third-generation Mini Hardtop, but with an extra set of doors for rear seat passengers. Think of it as a more useful Clubman, but with a lower ride height and less rugged-ness than the Countryman. Got it? Good.
Engine options carry over from the normal Mini Hardtop range, with a 1.5-liter turbo-three and a 2.0-liter turbo-four offering 134 and 189 horsepower, respectively. The rest of the car is everything else you know and love from the Mini range, just with a more spacious rear bench. And as you'd expect, there's a nearly endless pallet of customization options.
The Hardtop 4 Door arrives at US dealerships just before the end of the year, commanding a roughly $1,000 premium over its three-door kin. Scope out our new live shots in the gallery above, and take in the extensive press blast, below.
