2004 MINI COOPER / AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / PANORAMIC ROOF
SELLING MY WIFES MINI COOPER. CAR DRIVES PERFECT, NO SMOKERS IN THE FAMILY. I BOUGHT THE CAR 1.5 YEAR AGO FROM INSURANCE AUCTION, VEHICLE HAD LEFT SIDE SWIPE DAMAGE. WE CHANGED LEFT DOOR, LEFT FENDER AND HOOD. I PASSED STATE SALVAGE INSPECTION AND GOT A CLEAN TITLE. CAR HAS COUPLE OF SMALL SCRATCHES AND DENTS HERE AND THERE BUT OVERALL IS IN GORGEOUS SHAPE FOR 2004. PRIOR BODY WORK WAS DONE ON THE RIGHT REAR SIDE BUT FROM THE LOOKS OF IT NOTHING MAJOR. MY WIFE ENJOYED THIS CAR VERY MUCH, USED FOR THE MOST PART ON THE WEEKENDS. I BOUGHT HER BMW HARD TOP CONVERTIBLE FOR THE SUMMER SO THE COOPER UP FOR GRABS. INTERIOR IS IN GOOD CLEAN SHAPE , 2 FRONT NEOPRENE COVER KING SEAT COVERS INSTALLED. LEFT FRONT SEAT HAS SOME WEAR ON THE SIDE LEATHER SEAM - BUT ITS HIDDEN UNDER SEAT COVER :) . CAR HAS PANORAMIC SLIDING ROOF AND COMES WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION , I INSTALLED NEW PIONEER RADIO WHICH IMPROVED SOUND QUALITY DRAMATICALLY. VEHICLE HAS NO MECHANICAL ISSUES OTHER THAN TAIL GATE LOCK MAKES ELECTRICAL NOISE WHEN GATE LOCKING. 2 MONTH AGO MY WIFE CUT THE SIDE OF THE RIGHT REAR TIRE WHILE PARKING AND I DECIDED TO SWAP ALL 4 - SO THEY ARE PRACTICALLY NEW. PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH QUESTIONS, CAR INSPECTION PRIOR TO BIDDING WELCOME. I CAN ASSIST IF SHIPPING NEEDED.

Mini Clubman Concept isn't mini, isn't a Clubman
Wed, 05 Mar 2014Hey, remember when Mini was... mini? I know, you've heard all this before. But seriously.
Take this new Mini Clubman Concept, for example. As you'll recall, the current Clubman slots in between the Hardtop and Countryman models in the Mini lineup. But because the new, third-generation Mini has grown, so has everything else. And in fact, the concept car seen here is actually 4.4 inches longer and just over 2 inches wider than the current, already-large Countryman. The future of Mini looks awfully maxi.
Furthermore, the Clubman as we know it uses a weird, five-door layout (two up front, a third, suicide door, and two barn doors out back), but this concept adds a sixth door for a decidedly more conventional layout. Of course, four real doors for passengers sort of takes the uniqueness out of the Clubman package, and essentially makes this thing a not-as-tall, front-wheel-drive Countryman. Totally necessary, right?
Mini juices up Convertible with John Cooper Works model
Fri, Jan 15 2016Almost one year ago today, we caught our first and only look at the new Mini John Cooper Works Convertible, courtesy of a set of spy photos. Now, the new hot droptop has arrived, and no surprise, it's basically the same thing as the JCW Hardtop. The new model blends the standard three-door hardtop's 2.0-liter, 228-horsepower, 236-pound-foot, four-cylinder with the folding canvas roof of the new Mini Convertible, which debuted in October of last year. Available with a standard six-speed manual or an optional six-speed automatic, the three-pedal JCW Convertible will hit 60 in 6.4 seconds while the two-pedal will do the run a tenth of a second faster. The brawnier powertrain is backed up by a standard sport suspension – dynamic damper control is an optional extra – and convertible-specific chassis enhancements, including a new stiffening plate underneath the engine. To bring proceedings to a halt even quicker, Mini attached JCW-specific Brembo brakes. There's also the usual array of interior and exterior enhancements. Outside, there's a sportier body kit, standard, JCW-specific 17-inch wheels (or optional 18s), and standard LED headlamps. We're aching to try out the new JCW sport seats, which feature a fixed headrest and some serious bolstering. They're also rocking a pretty nifty black-and-red color scheme. Mini has paired its latest announcement with a full pricing release for the Cooper, Cooper S, and JCW Convertibles. Adding the softtop kicks up the price $5,000 to $5,500, with the base model starting at $26,800. The S model just barely cracks the $30,000 mark, coming in at $30,450, while the Works model is $36,450. That, friends, is a lot of money, and you'll be putting it down before even dipping into Mini's deep options catalog. Read on for both official press releases from Mini. EXTREME DRIVING FUN, INTENSIVE OPEN-AIR PLEASURE: INTRODUCING THE NEW MINI JOHN COOPER WORKS CONVERTIBLE Woodcliff Lake, NJ – January 14, 2016... When passion for motor racing is the driving force and intense open-air pleasure the goal, the new MINI John Cooper Works Convertible takes the ideal line from the word go. The second John Cooper Works model of the latest generation combines engine and suspension technology optimized for use on the race track with distinctive design and equipment features as well as the extensively refined qualities of the new MINI Convertible.
2015 Mini Cooper stuns crowd, itself [w/videos]
Thu, 21 Nov 2013Remember the Mini Rocketman concept from 2011? While we were really, really hoping for a production version - a properly mini Mini - that never happened. And it won't. But what we are getting is a whole lot of that showcar's styling cues applied to the third-generation Mini Cooper hardtop, a model making its debut here at the LA Auto Show. And while from most angles, the new Mini is as cute as ever, we just can't quite warm up to that face - or that huge front overhang. The car simply looks like a frightened goldfish (that yellow paint isn't helping, either).
The car simply looks like a frightened goldfish (that yellow paint isn't helping, either).
It should probably be pretty nice to drive, though, with the base Cooper using a new turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine good for 134 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. Friskier Cooper S models get a healthy power increase, their 2.0-liter turbo engines putting out a full 189 hp and 207 lb-ft, with both engines are mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
