For sale is a very nice 1984 Mercury Grand Marquis LS. This car was bought in August of 2010, and has been maintained and driven until July 2013. Most major engine electrical components (ECT, EGR, Distributor, MAP, TPS) have been replaced, along with the fuel injectors. The driver's seat back was broken when we bought the car; it has since been rewelded and fixed. The headliner droops but not low, and will need reglued/replaced. There are some spots of rust on the passenger side rear wheel arch and quarter, as well as the passenger fender, both of which are pictured.

-Car has A/C (R134a Conversion) but will need a new orifice tube and evaporator drier
-Car has cruise control, but the clip is broken so it is not functional.
-Passenger window doesn't roll up or down very well, needs new regulator, have but have not installed.
-Front Power Door Locks do not work, were originally not on the car, replacements froze up over winter. Rear locks are fine
-All new door lock strikers, doors open and shut wonderfully.
-Will more than likely need new weatherstripping around the front two doors and trunk.
-Needs new Power Antenna, a drunk moron pulled it off one night in February, 2011.

The damage you see at the front of the car was from the previous owner, an elderly gentleman who shut off the car and got out of the car while it was still in drive. It went through a church wall. The damage pictured on the hood is the only damage from the incident apparent. The rear bumper did get tapped by another drunken moron in March, 2011; he lost a headlight, the bumper on the car was merely tweaked. No frame damage, it just needs straightened by someone with porta-power or a rather large hammer.

Overall, this is an excellent vehicle for use as either a daily driver or as a classic show car with just a bit of work. It fires up very easily, runs very smoothly, shifts and drives with ease. The car gets around 13-15 MPG city, and around 20-23 MPG highway. I would not hesitate to say that you could buy this car, get the title transferred and drive away happy. We're selling it because we've got too many vehicles around and this one was not going to be used.

New Forza 6 car pack will let you race the Pontiac Aztek

Just in time for this weekend's Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona, the new Alpinestars Car Pack for Forza Motorsport 6 on the Xbox One lets you slip into the driver's seat of last year's winner. If you want to take something much weirder for a spin, the collection also includes a 2005 Pontiac Aztek. The download is available now for $6.99. The Ford #02 Chip Ganassi Racing Riley Mk XXVI Daytona was in a four-car battle early in last year's race, but it eventually was victorious. Forza Motorsport 6 also challenges drivers who download the car to a new Rivals event around Daytona, and the fastest people could win Alpinestars prizes. If you're nostalgic for a classic Daytona racecar, this pack includes Mercury #15 Whistler Radar Cougar XR-7. The V8-powered beast won the IMSA GTO class in the 24-hour event in 1990. With a slightly larger body and a more luxurious interior, the Mercury Cougar doesn't carry quite as much cachet among pony car enthusiasts as the venerable Ford Mustang. But don't try to make that argument around Cougar super-fan Mike Brown. Since starting his Cougar collecting in 1988, Brown has become an absolute expert on the model, and he claims to have owned 400 of the Mercury pony cars in that time. Ten of them are in his collection today, not to mention a heap of spare parts in the garage. Preposed class-action lawsuit targets 'defective' MyFord Touch

A national law firm, Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP, has filed a proposed class action lawsuit whose presupposition is that MyFord Touch is defective. Specifically, the complaint states that the system - as well as the MyLincoln Touch and MyMercury Touch clones - often freeze, fail to respond to voice or touch commands and have issues connecting to mobile phones.
According to Hagens Berman managing partner Steve Berman, MyFord Touch is a theoretically "brilliant idea" that falls short in actual execution. Said Berman in a press release, "In reality, the system is fundamentally flawed, failing to reliably provide functionality, amounting to an inconvenience at best, and a serious safety issue at worst."
Other MFT issues enumerated within the 41-page filing include problems controlling the window defroster, rear-view camera and navigation system. The suit maintains that Ford is aware of the problem but has yet to submit a workable and acceptable solution to MFT customers. Scroll down if you'd like to read the full press release.
