Up for your consideration is a like new Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Coupe. Dressed in Black over black and red interior, this coupe is in perfect condition with no blemishes or flaws. Bought new just over a year ago, this car is on the way out to make way for another new addition to hit the garage in just over 2 weeks!
This car is one owner from new, is privately owned and maintained and has been stored in a climate controlled garage since it came home. This SLS had a very high sticker of over 210,000 dollars when new. This SLS was equipped with almost all of the carbon fiber interior pieces, Bang and Olufsen audio and the rest. This car has barely broken 950 miles as of this writing. Since this car is privately held, it can be exported if someone so chooses to do so. This is a no apologies car with zero issues.
The interior of this car is striking and like no other coupe I have seen. The black leather is rich and dark and without blemish. The designo deviated red leather, akin to the silver arrow red of the 300SL, is like new and shows no signs of either wear or stains. The AMG leather and alcantara steering wheel is perfect with no matted spots on the suede. The optional carbon fiber interior accents contrast well and properly represent the sporting attributes of the car. The AMG performance media system will allow you to record all of the performance and telemetry from your latest track attack or mountain road adventure. If for some reason you tire of the symphonic sound of the AMG tuned exhaust, you will have the orchestral power of the Bang and Olufsen 1000 watt audio system to compliment the true artistic nature of this beast.
The exterior of the car is immaculate. It has been professionally detailed from new and has never seen rain. The shinny obsidian black paint is shinny and swirl free. The red accented brake calipers really bring the incredible interior of the car to the exterior and add just the right touch of color to the dark exterior and are a monster size to accent the optional AMG adaptive suspension. The tires are still in almost perfect condition as this car has never been driven in a manner to degrade them and it has never been tracked. This car resides just outside of Greenwich, CT. It is available for a PPI at the purchasers request and expense. Nothing to hide here, just a well loved and perfectly cared for SLS coupe that needs a new home!

On Location at Mercedes-Benz Van Camp in the Rocky Mountains
Mon, Jul 6 2015Camping high in the Rocky Mountains as spring gave way to summer may not seem like the obvious way to test out a work van, but that's how we sampled the 2016 Mercedes-Benz Metris. Our drive was based in Dunton Hot Springs and Cresto Ranch, CO, nestled high in the Rocky Mountains. Both were gorgeous and dripping with history. Since their rough-hewn origins they've been converted into an upscale camping experience. We spent a couple nights in Cresto Ranch, an old cattle outpost near the Dolores River. Our 'tent' was lavishly furnished, complete with a shower, desk, and comfortable bed. Glamor camping is in vogue, and this was 'glamping' at its finest. Most of the Mercedes activities started at Dunton Hot Springs, a former mining town with tents and log cabins remade into an even larger-scale glamping site than Cresto Ranch. The hot springs beckoned, but glampers could also enjoy massages or just soak in the soaring forests surrounding the site. The only downside: With an elevation around 8,700 feet above sea level, we found ourselves occasionally light-headed. It was a fun couple of days in the Rockies, on the road and at the campsite. 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class revealed again in 1:18 scale
Fri, 10 May 2013There is plenty to look forward to when it comes to the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, but it could end up being a fairly anticlimactic reveal thanks to fully exposed spy shots, a leaked press photo and now images of a diecast version of the luxury sedan. Autoweek.nl has images showing a highly detailed 1:18 scale model of the redesigned S-Class that matches up with everything we've seen so far.
This isn't the first time a model car spoiled a new vehicle's reveal, as the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class and 2013 SRT Viper were both unceremoniously revealed in toy form first. World Car Fans is reporting that the car 2014 S-Class will be officially unveiled on May 15, but at this point, all that's left to wonder about is the official on-sale date and what will be under the hood.
BMW expects China to pass US as its top market in 2013
Thu, 11 Jul 2013When you combine two billion citizens, 100 cities with more than a million inhabitants and an economy that's as unrestrained as Jim Cramer on an Adderall binge, China's explosive auto industry growth shouldn't be a huge surprise. Audi already lists the communist country as its largest market, while Mercedes-Benz is expecting it to be there in the next few years. Now, according to a report from Automotive News, BMW is expecting the People's Republic to overtake the United States in sales by the end of 2013.
We already discovered the extent that BMW is going to in establishing a dedicated Chinese stronghold, when we explored BMW's Shanghai-based DesignWorks studio ahead of April's Shanghai Motor Show. And while we argued that DesignWorks Shanghai hasn't really borne fruit, it isn't due to a lack of sales.
BMW China has seen a 16-percent jump in year-over-year sales, lead by a 28-percent gain in 5 Series sales. Part of BMW's growth strategy comes from an ever-expanding dealership network. Remember those 100 cities we mentioned with over one million people? According to Karsten Engel, CEO of BMW's Chinese operations, those 100-million-plus city dwellers don't have access to a premium dealership.
