I am the 3rd owner of this beautiful Ivory White over Palomino 1987 Mercedes-Benz 300SDL. Most of her life was spent in Texas until 2001. She now resides in Ontario, Canada. She has always been garaged and never winter driven. She has over 238,800 documented miles on her. She drives beautifully and turns heads everywhere she goes. She is my spring/summer/fall daily driver.

She comes complete with:
Clear Title.
2 keys complete with original books and manuals.
Original window sticker and stacks of service records since day one.
15" Stock wheels with tires.
Extra set of Bosch Euro headlights.
Lot's of extra spare parts.

The heater works great and the A/C blows cold. All Integral lights work. All power windows, sun roof and power front seats function perfect. Passenger side power mirror works perfect. Engine starts up with no hesitation. There is no delay when you shut her down. Engine runs smooth. The transmission shifts smoothly through all gears including reverse. The pneumatic door locks, trunk lock and fuel filler cap function perfect. Her suspension is nice and tight. The radio antenna works as it should and moves up and down when selected. Radio works great and the speakers function properly. Wheels are in great shape with no vibration. Tires still have plenty of thread left. No dashboard cracks and the wood trim is in great shape with minimal hair line cracks.

The Bad:
Drivers side leather seat is worn and cracked.
Cruise Control stopped working.
A couple exhaust manifold bolts need to be replaced.
Front guide rods are worn.
Small ding on front drivers side quarter panel just above the wheel well.
Small ding on the trunk lid.

Due to the fact that she was originally registered in the United States, there should be no issues bringing her back across the boarder if required.

I will be happy to assist with shipping. Please contact me for more information.

Europe getting special Mercedes-Benz CLA Edition 1

Mon, 11 Feb 2013

Last week when we saw the leaked ordering guide for the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class, one particular image caught our eye showing the interior of the new sedan with a neon yellow stripe on the seats and yellow stitching throughout the cabin. As it turns out, this will be part of a limited-edition model called the Edition 1 about which Mercedes-Benz just released some information.
Usually, automakers wait until later in a vehicle's life to introduce special models like this, but the Edition 1 will be available right out of the gate for the first 12 months the CLA-Class is on sale. The 2014 CLA-Class Edition 1 includes the more aggressive Sport package adding AMG-style fascias and wheels, Bi-Xenon headlights and a lowered suspension; it will be offered only in five colors - unfortunately, Northern Lights Purple is not one of them. In addition to the bright yellow cabin accents, the Edition 1 will get sport seats wrapped in leather and microfiber, a sporty, flat-bottom steering wheel wrapped in Nappa leather and real aluminum trim on the instrument panel.
With no mention of the US, we're only left to imagine that this car will not be arriving on our shores, but customers in Europe will definitely be able to enjoy the mean styling and funky interior with prices ranging from 35,402 euros up to 43,940 euros.

Mercedes-Benz GLA Concept gets mobbed in China

Sat, 20 Apr 2013

If the reception it received at the Shanghai Motor Show is any judge of marketplace acceptance, Mercedes-Benz has a hit on its hands in the form of the GLA Concept. And we can understand why - we're quickly becoming fans of Mercedes' recent styling language, as defined by new models like the CLA and this GLA Concept.
The big news on the exterior front are the headlamp clusters, which have frickin' laser beams attached to their foreheads embedded inside that are capable of projecting videos and images on a screen. Plus, a pair of video cameras are mounted on the roof that can be used to capture driving excitement or removed and taken with you. How cool is that? We just hope they have a substantial locking mechanism to prevent would-be thievery...
If the exterior is mostly ready for production, with a few of the more outlandish elements moved to the trash bin - like, for instance, laser-beam headlamps and removable action cams - the interior is a true custom job that screams concept loud and clear. There are all kinds of jewel-like finishes inside, along with transparent surfaces showing what looks like metal latticework underneath and some awfully thick looking leather with massive exterior stitching done by hand similar to what you'd find on a baseball glove.

First official shot of Mercedes S-Class Coupe leaks out

Mon, 10 Feb 2014

With the official debut for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe expected tomorrow, it shouldn't be a surprise that some clicky fingers have already managed to uncover an official image of the car before the unveiling. Outside of this sole image, though, there's precious little detail on the new car.
First posted by Autofilou and then picked up by WorldCarFans, the production S-Class Coupe isn't far off from the concept car we saw a few months back in Frankfurt. Like the concept, the leggy production model appears related, albeit distantly, to the S-Class Sedan. The hood and front fascia are longer and lower, befitting of a two-door, while the character lines in the profile are more pronounced. Obviously, the beltline and slim, B-pillarless greenhouse are coupe-only items. We can't see any details on the back of the car, although it does appear that the long hood has a correspondingly short rear deck.
We'll have all the details on the official replacement for the CL-Class when it makes its full debut tomorrow. Until then, what do you think of this lone image? Does it appear that Mercedes has got it right? In terms of design, where would you rank this with the departing CL-Class? Have your say in Comments.
