2012 Mercedes Benz CLS550 Lorinser Edition, Diamond White exterior over Black Sport Leather Interior. If buyer is interested I also have the original black 20" wheels from Lorinser and Pirelli tires up for grabs as well.. They are like brand new and VERY expensive. Each wheel new runs $2500 plus the tires. I will part with them for $3000 for the set w/ tires.. This is ONLY to the buyer of the car for this price.. This Very Rare Lorinser Edition CLS550 was well ordered from the factory with an MSRP of $112k! Options and features include – Diamond White Exterior Paint, Black Sport Leather Interior, Black Walnut Wood Trim, Factory Navigation, Premium 1 Package(iPod/MP3 Media Interface, Rearview Camera, Heated and Active Ventilated Front Seats, Power Rear-Window Sunshade, Adaptive Highbeam Assist, Full-LED Headlamps, Electronic Trunk Closer, KEYLESS-GO). Parktronic self parking feature along with the Full Lorinser body package w/ Lorinser Exhaust and rear roof spoiler. This Vehicle Is also equipped a full RENNtech Performance package which boosts the Horsepower from 402HP to an amazing 530HP! and torque from 433 LB-FT to an astonishing 606 LB-FT! All of this while retaining the factory warranty! In addition, with the Lorinser Exhaust and resonator delete brings the horsepower to an absolutely astonishing 549HP on the Dyno. Staggered Vossen CV3 Wheels 20x9 front and 20x10.5 rears wrapped in new Pirelli PZero tires 255/30/20 Fronts & 295/25/20 Rears. Wheel and tire pkg just put on 2 months ago and like Brand New. Also ordered the new AMG CLS63 Performance Pkg steering wheel from Mercedes 2 months ago as well. This features the flat top and bottom w/ the alcantara sides and aluminum paddle shifters (this alone was $2900). Vehicle also was sent to Reus Audio in Orange, Ca. Many people are not familiar with this company, but they build and design their own products in house and known to be one of the highest end audio companies in the world. They build to customer specs and fly all over the world to perform the install. Most of the vehicles they build for are Porsche. The sound system sounds absolutely better than anything you can imagine. Clean crisp and has a hidden 10" subwoofer in trunk with bass adjustability at the seat. These systems are built custom and most of the owners have them professionally pulled out to be used in other vehicles due to the cost. System was $7800 and everything integrated to use all factory functions in vehicle. All chrome trim on vehicle (I.e. window trim, tops of door handles, trunk trim) have been removed and professionally painted gloss jet black to give it that extra style of class with the touch of aggressive.. The brake calipers were removed by Fletcher Jones dealership and were sent out to get professionally painted to match the diamond white exterior. A special high temp catalyst was used and a high gloss clear for long lasting protection. This was very expensive but gives the vehicle a very clean and completed look. All the little things were not overlooked on this show quality build. Leather is in perfect condition, all around the vehicle is in just stunning condition. All maintenance is up to date and very meticulous. Only has had synthetic oils used. ECU was sent to the crew at Renntech in Fl. They tuned it specifically to the specs of this vehicle given the Lorinser exhaust with resonator delete. The result is nothing short of ASTONOSHING!! 0-60 in 3.4seconds. The sound is just unbelievable. Sounds like a tuned supercar when downshifting but has absolutely no highway drone and quiet in the interior. The vehicle has been very dialed in to every aspect. Has 3M ceramic film on windows to reduce glare, sun and UV protection. There is approximately $132,400 with all mods along side vehicle sticker. Vehicle has been very cared for. NEVER raced or abused. All modifications were for marketing purposes only.. Guaranteed you will never find another new body style CLS as nice as this one featuring this many goodies on it and so tastefully done. Vehicle has 48k Extremely cared for highway miles and has been used strictly for the purpose of attending all major Automobile exhibitions in United States, all west coast shows vehicle was driven, all east coast was professionally trailered. Vehicle mileage may increase a little as I take it to Downtown Laguna every so often. The vehicle looks nicer and runs better than ones with 4k miles. Has been kept in immaculate condition and detailed with hand wax and buffers every Saturday and before a show and had quick details done every single day of its life. This is a ONE OWNER vehicle purchased from Fletcher Jones Newport Beach. It was a display show vehicle for Lorinser Products Germany.. It was featured at all the major auto shows in US this year. Including Detroit, New York, LA etc. This is a very rare and built correct to Display the New Body style CLS for Mercedes as well as Lorinser products. It is the most well know CLS in United States.. I welcome anyone to come and view vehicle in person and can take it to dealership for inspection if needed, guaranteed to be in perfect condition head to toe. Not a single ding anywhere.. It will be buyers SOLE responsibility to arrange shipping vehicle with a carrier company. I will help in any way I can within reason. I am very busy and tend to my business with unusually long hours, so will do best I can. I will also be listing up my Aston Martin Rapide soon as well, so stay tuned. This vehicle gets compliments everyday I go somewhere. Its very unique and sounds like amazing. I have questions asked all the time when I park it somewhere and lots of pictures are taken as well. If you don't like attention, this is not the vehicle for you.. Interior still smells of new leather. Was always cleaned with high end leather pastes and is soft and supple. Rear mats still have the plastic on them. |

Car technology I'm thankful and unthankful for
Mon, Nov 27 2017The past few years have seen a surge of tech features in new vehicles — everything from cloud-based content to semi-autonomous driving. While some of it makes the driving experience better, not all tech is useful or well thought out. Automakers who are adept at drivetrains, ride quality and in-cabin comforts often fail at infotainment interfaces and connectivity. From testing dozens of vehicles each year and in the spirit of gratitude, here are three car tech features I'm thankful — and a trio I could live without. Thanks Connected search: This seems like a no-brainer since everyone already has it on their smartphones, but not all automakers include it in the dashboard and as part of their nav systems. The best ones, such as Toyota Entune, leverage a driver's connected device to search for a range of services and don't charge a subscription or require a separate data plan for the car. I also like how systems like Chrysler Uconnect use Yelp or other apps to find everything from coffee to gas stations and allow searching via voice recognition. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto: It took two of the largest tech companies to get in-dash infotainment right. While they have their disadvantages (you're forced to use Apple Maps with CarPlay, for example), the two smartphone-integration platforms make it easier and safer to use their respective native apps for phoning, messaging, music and more behind the wheel by transferring a familiar UI to the dashboard — with no subscription required. Heated seats and steering wheels: I really appreciate these simple but pleasant features come wintertime. It's easy to get spoiled by bun-warmers on frosty mornings and using a heated steering wheel to warm the cold hands. I recently tested a 2018 Mercedes-Benz E400 Coupe that also had heated armrest that added to a cozy luxury experience. Bonus points for brands like Buick that allow setting seat heaters to turn on when the engine is remotely started. No thanks Automaker infotainment systems: Automakers have probably poured millions into creating their own infotainment systems, with the result largely being frustration on the part of most car owners. And Apple CarPlay and Android Auto coming along to make them obsolete. While some automaker systems, such as Toyota Entune and FCA's Uconnect, are easy and intuitive to use, it seems that high-end systems (I'm looking at you BMW iDrive and Mercedes-Benz COMAND) are the most difficult.

Autoblog drives to the Arctic Circle
Fri, 22 Mar 2013In Which Mercedes' Sprinter Becomes A Long-Distance Sherpa
In the wintery wilds of northern Alaska, even the cute little critters want to kill you.
As I am about to nod off on my long leg flight from Minneapolis to Anchorage ahead of driving to the Arctic Circle, the friendly twenty-something Alaskan knitting furiously in the seat next to me pauses and says, "When you're driving up there, don't open your windows." In the dead of winter? I hadn't planned on cruising alfresco, but her warning to keep the glazing snugged against the weatherstripping is one I would take to heart. She continues: "If you leave 'em open, a fox is liable to jump right in. There are lots of rabid foxes up there, and they leap into your car and just Go. To. Town." And here I was, thinking that a curious bear or maybe an ill-placed moose in the road was going to be my biggest potential four-legged threat. In the wintery wilds of northern Alaska, even the cute little critters want to kill you.
