I have owned the car since June 2009, and it has been regularly serviced either by a Mercedes Benz dealership or a Euro Car Specialist garage.  The soft top was replaced under manufacturers warranty by Mercedes Benz of South Orlando in July 2009 due to a small leak.  I have always kept the car in a garage since my ownership.

I have really enjoyed owning this car, and have found of late I am using it less and less having covered only 1700 miles since the last service in mid February this year.  It seems such a waste to leave the car in the garage, hence my decision to sell.

I have clear Florida Title in my name.  The car is being sold "as is where is".  There is NO WARRANTY expressed or implied.  Please satisfy yourself that the car will be suitable for your needs prior to Bidding to avoid disappointment.

I would prefer any Bidders to view the car, but if you can't I will be happy to talk through any questions, Skype/Facetime or send additional photos.

Any Bidders with Zero Feedback, please contact me prior to Bidding as you are Bidding to Win and Own a Quality Car.

Please ask all questions before Bidding, don't assume anything, that way everyone will be happy.  I don't want to disappoint or Bidders to be disappointed.  I will work with your shipper but any cost is down to you, delivery maybe possible for an agreed price, again let's talk.

Mercedes teases IAA Concept for Frankfurt

Mon, Sep 14 2015

Mercedes-Benz is being coy about the IAA Concept you see above. The Germany automaker admits its name is short for Intelligent Aerodynamic Automobile, but isn't letting out much more. In a very short statement, Mercedes describes the IAA as "two cars in one: an aerodynamics world champion and a four-door coupe embodying irresistible design." Does that mean the IAA points the way forward for the next version of the brand's shapely CLS, which it also refers to as a four-door coupe? Probably, but we're not sure where the "Intelligent" part comes in. Will it be an electric machine that presages a competitor to the Tesla Model S? We'll just have to wait and see. One thing is for certain: The Mercedes IAA looks sleek. While the details of its design are shrouded in strategically placed shadows, we can clearly see a double-bubble roofline that flows seamlessly into a graceful hatch that reminds us of the Audi A7, which isn't a bad design to borrow cues from. The overall shape of the Intelligent Aerodynamic Automobile makes it look like bodywork shrink-wrapped atop the chassis as tightly as possible. We're keen to take a look at the IAA ourselves, and that's going to happen rather soon. Mercedes promises a debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in the early afternoon (Eastern). Stay tuned. The Mercedes-Benz "Concept IAA" (Intelligent Aerodynamic Automobile) is two cars in one: an aerodynamics world champion and a four-door coupe embodying irresistible design. World premiere. Cars with the worst resale value in 2022

Thu, Nov 10 2022

Car values are all over the map right now. Used vehicles that were worth a small fortune earlier this year are now coming back to Earth, but the new vehicle supply remains tight. Prices are still elevated overall, but some models have seen more severe price drops. Depreciation strikes almost every model, supply constraint or not, though a few vehicles are leading the way. New research from analytics iSeeCars found that a handful of cars depreciated more than 50 percent over five years, with the BMW 7 Series dropping 56.9 percent and an average price cut of $61,923 over that time. The vehicles with the highest depreciation — or worst resale value — over five years: BMW 7 Series: -56.9% Maserati Ghibli: -56.3% Jaguar XF: -54% Infiniti QX80: -52.6% Cadillac Escalade ESV: 52.3% Mercedes-Benz S-Class: 51.9% Lincoln Navigator: -51.9% Audi A6: -51.5% Volvo S90: -51.4% Ford Expedition: -50.7% iSeeCarsÂ’ research showed that midsize trucks, sports cars, and fuel-efficient vehicles were slowest to depreciate over five years, while itÂ’s clear that luxury brands tend to lose value much faster. As iSeeCarsÂ’ Executive Analyst Karl Brauer explained, used buyers donÂ’t value high-end vehiclesÂ’ features as much as the first owners, so resale values tend to be softer. The tech and options that made the cars so expensive and appealing new donÂ’t add the same value on the used market. Read more: Cars with the best resale value Interestingly, electric vehicles also depreciated quite heavily, though they were just short of the abysmal numbers in luxury segments. The Nissan Leaf depreciated most among EVs, dropping by 49.1 percent. The average EV depreciation is 44.2 percent, with the Tesla Model S and Model X sliding in right under the bar at 43.7 and 38.8 percent, respectively. As iSeeCars notes, itÂ’s important to be vigilant when car shopping and not let your emotions win over reason. Shiny new luxury cars look great in the showroom, but you could end up taking a bath when you try selling them a few years later on.
