THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT THIS CAR THAT BLENDS SPORTY WITH CLASSY IN IT'S OWN UNIQUE WAY AND THE COLOR COMBINATION CAN ONLY BE DESCRIBED AS "ELEGANT". THIS MERCEDES HAS ALL THE AVAILABLE CREATURE CONFORTS OF IT'S YEAR WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE OPTIONAL NAVIGATION SYSTEM, THE ORIGINAL SOUND SYSTEM OFFERS BOTH CD CHANGER AND CASSETTE PLAYER WITH FACTORY INSTALLED BOSE SPEAKERS.
THE CAR IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, HAS LOW MILES AND HAS BEEN BABIED AND GARAGED, MANY TIMES WE HEAR THE FRASE "THE PICTURES DON'T DO IT JUSTICE" WELL THIS TIME IT'S A FACT.
MY WIFE AND I BOTH HATE TO PART WITH THIS CAR BUT OUR BUSINESS IS IN NEED OF A CAPITAL INJECTION AND WE HAD TO COME TO THIS SAD DECISION. I HAVE LOOKED AT SIMILAR CARS FOR COMPARISON IN ORDER TO ARRIVE AT AN ASKING PRICE BUT HAVE NOT FOUND A TRUE COMPARABLE, THEY SIMPLY DON'T COMPARE.
SO I AM GOING TO LET THE PICTURES DO THE TALKING AND LIST IT, A NEW SET OF HIGH PERFORMANCE TIRES WILL BE INSTALLED AND HIGH SPEED BALANCED AND NEW OIL AND FILTER CHANGE AND ALL FLUIDS SERVICE WILL BE DONE THIS WEEK.
MECHANICALLY THERE ARE NO ISSUES TO SPEAK OF, I HAVE NOTICED A TINY DROP OF OIL ON MY GARAGE FLOOR WHEN THE CAR SAT FOR ABOUT SIX WEEKS, EVERYTHING ELSE IS IN GOOD WORKING ORDER, THE FRONT BRAKES HAVE LESS THAN 3000 MILES ON THEM AND THE REAR WERE GOOD AND WERE NOT CHANGED.
I HAVE DESCRIBED THE CAR HONESTLY TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE BUT COULD HAVE FORGOTTEN TO MENTION SOMETHING, SO PLEASE I WELCOME ALL QUESTIONS AND INSPECTIONS, AS WITH ALL USED CARS, IT IS SOLD AS IS WITH NO WARRANTIES WRITTEN OR IMPLIED AND SALE IS FINAL.
PLEASE DON'T ASK ME WHAT THE RESERVE IS ON THE CAR, I JUST WANT TO SEE THAT IT GETS TO A FAIR NUMBER, THE CAR IS ONLY LISTED ON EBAY, I AM A LONG TIME MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING WITH 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK AND NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE BUT I WOULD LIKE YOU TO CONTACT ME IF YOU HAVE NO FEEDBACK OR ARE NEW TO EBAY, I HAVE SEEN SOME CRAFTY SCAMS FIRST HAND AND OTHERS THAT BELIEVE BIDDING TO BE A GAME.
I WILL GLADLY ASSIST WITH SHIPPING BUT ALL COSTS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER, ALSO I CAN STORE THE CAR FOR YOU FOR A PRUDENT AMOUNT OF TIME ONCE CAR HAS BEEN PAID FOR.
DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS ONE, JUST IN TIME FOR VALENTINE, PUT A SMILE ON HER FACE!

Mercedes-Maybach GLS could become the most expensive car made in America
Mon, Mar 18 2019Mercedes-Benz International, the German automaker's manufacturing facility near Vance and Tuscaloosa, Ala., already builds the GLS SUV. Autonews reports that the coming ultra-luxe version of the large crossover, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS, will be built in Alabama as well for global markets. The most recent timelines mark the reveal in production or near-production form in China, with sales to commence next year. The next-gen series-production GLS goes on sale later this year. The gilded sub-brand previewed a wild concept last year in China called the Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury, which blended the tall profile of an SUV with the truck of a sedan on donk wheels. Based on spy shots, none of that fancy will make it to production. Both the Maybach and AMG versions of the GLS ride on fat rubber but look thoroughly traditional. The treasure will be inside. Autonews said China accounts for roughly 75 percent of Maybach S-Class sedan sales. That suggests the GLS in baroque trim will emphasize chauffeured luxury touches like rear captain's chairs and lots of rear legroom. Pricing estimates figure $200,000 to get in the door. That would put the SUV right in line with the Lamborghini Urus and a couple stacks of Benjamins above the Bentley Bentayga, with much the same likely audience. One analyst said, "The ultra-high-net-worth kids want something different, and these ultraluxury SUVs certainly fit that," while another opined on its "appeal to the Kardashians and hip-hoppers, if they want something slightly different to the G-Wagen." A $200K MSRP would also comfortably make the Maybach GLS the most expensive new car built in America, taking the title from the Acura NSX. With a great price comes great power, said to be a twin-turbo V8 with more than 560 horsepower. The coming GLS 450 will make do with somewhere around 360 hp. The Alabama plant, which also builds the GLE, GLE Coupe, and C-Class, is also undergoing a $1 billion upgrade to more than double the size of the facility, making lines for battery production and EQ-series vehicle assembly,
2015 Mercedes-AMG C63 S Review
Mon, Jul 6 2015"It's about great cars on great roads." The late David E. Davis, Jr., said this of Winding Road when he took the reins as editor-in-chief in 2006. Our mission at that magazine was to not just review cars, but to describe the emotional experience of piloting brilliant machines down beautiful roads. "The art of driving," per David E. This all comes flooding back into my mind as I pull out of a Shell station onto Angeles Crest Highway, just south of the 210 freeway in La Canada Flintridge, CA. I'm in the 2015 Mercedes-AMG C63 S. I've got a full tank of fuel, the whole day to myself, and I'm staring down one of the finest driving roads in the country. Prior to this moment, I spent two days bombing around the greater Los Angeles area in this sinister-looking C63 S. This car is a villain, and looks appropriately so in black paint with the $750 AMG Exterior Night Styling pack. The C-Class as a whole is far more upscale in this latest generation, with its long hood, cab-rearward design, and short rear deck. "Baby S-Class" is not an exaggeration. Thankfully, the addition of AMG bits don't detract from the new C's more premium aura. Where a BMW M3 just looks like a brash 3 Series, the C63 is more like a C400 with a trick up its sleeve. The 4.0-liter V8 is an exceptional engine. Start the engine, and there's no question you're blessed with the power of AMG. Any worries I had about the new, twin-turbocharged, 4.0-liter V8 not providing enough aural delight are gone, especially with the $1,250 AMG Performance Exhaust. At start-up there's a low, burbly sound quality, typical of a V8. At full throttle, it's loud, angry, and passionate. I will always miss the naturally aspirated, 6.2-liter M156 V8 from the last C63, not only for its noise, but for its character. That said, I eagerly welcome Mercedes' new turbocharged techniques. The 4.0-liter V8 is an exceptional engine. In C63 S guise, the M178 lump makes 503 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque, the latter of which comes on in full force as low as 1,750 rpm. That's a ton of power for the 3,935-pound C63. But it never feels like there's too much to handle. Power comes on progressively, and when I mash the throttle on a straight stretch of pavement, the car is composed and controlled. And quick. Seriously quick. Zero-to-sixty-in-under-four-seconds quick. The balance between viciousness and grace is perfectly met in this new C63.
Daily Driver: 2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600
Thu, Apr 16 2015Daily Driver videos are micro-reviews of vehicles in the Autoblog press fleet, featuring impressions from the staffers that drive them every day. Today's Daily Driver features the 2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600, reviewed by Adam Morath and Greg Migliore. You can watch the video above or read a transcript below. Watch more Autoblog videos at /videos. VIDEO TRANSCRIPTAdam: [00:00:03] Hi, I'm Adam Morath for Autoblog and I busted out the bowtie for today's Daily Driver because we are in a 2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600. Now, this is like the S-Class on caviar. They've taken one of the most refined vehicles in the world, dropped a V12 under the hood and added tons of content, but it's also one of the rare examples where the best place for review the car is not from the drivers' seat. I'm going to kick it back to my associate, [00:30:00] Greg Migliore to tell you a little bit more about this car.Greg: All right, well thanks, Adam. It's really great to be rolling around in Birmingham with my footmen... I mean co-worker, Adam. I'm in the back of the S600 here. This Maybach is spectacular in so many ways back here. I'm really up to my elbows, up to my waist in heated leather. Everything here is heated. It's a really, really, bespoke setting. Now, it's almost 3:00. I think, you know, happy hour is near. I could go for a drink. [00:01:00] The Maybach has you covered. Pop this right down, you're going to pull this out right here where my liquor is chilling and there is a nice faster right here in the center console where you can put your goblet down and these prongs stick out and wrap around the stem of the base, so you know, if Adam hits a bump here, hey, I'm cool, it's no problem. Now, while I'm back here, there's so many things I can do. There's a tablet in front of me. [00:01:30] There's a remote control, light very aerodynamic if there is such a thing for a remote. I'm going to tune up the radio here, put on some, I think I'll tune up the symphony hall, because that is what is appropriate in this vehicle. I can also queue up a massage if I would like. All jokes aside though. The Maybach is big business for Mercedes. They brought this name back recently because there's a different sort of value than just a standard S class and that actually allows them to capitalize [00:02:00] on a pretty lucrative market. It starts at about $190 and I can tell you for sure this is not an entry level car, so I'm sure we're looking at over $200, in that range, but you get a lot.
