2003 - Mercedes-benz Cl-class on 2040-cars
West Point, Illinois, United States
THE AUTOCHECK HAS AN ERROR IN IT ABOUT THE MILES IM WORKING WITH THEM TO GET THIS RESOLVED ASAP AND FIXED. THE TITLE ON THIS CAR IS CLEAN AND CLEAR NO ISSUES. MY BANK REPORTED A LIEN 2 MONTH AFTER THEY GAVE ME A LOAD WITH SAME MILES THAT WERE ON BEFORE 2 MONTHS PREVIOUS THIS IS WHAT CAUSED AN ERROR IN THE MILLAGE. This is a Feeler for my 2003 CL600 V12 TT. The car is for sale to the right buyer who is willing to pay a bit over market value for a car that has a lot of unique upgrades. There were no shortcuts taken with this vehicle to make it the way it is today. This car has all service records including all receipts and a full build list. There is a very low lien on the car thru a Credit Union which I can pay off quickly if buyer wants me to do so, or we can handle the payoff together. This vehicle has never been in any accidents or has never been repainted for any reason. I purchased this car with around 70K on the clock from a forum member here on MB World. Since then car spend most of its days in the garage and at Speedriven. The car currently has around 81K miles and is only taken out of the garage to drive around a bit. The only reason I'm thinking about selling this car is because a 65 became available to purchase at the right price. This car will also come with 18 inch SL500 Wheels with MT ET Streets mounted and 2 16 inch CLK light weight wheels freshly redone in Black The cars most current ΒΌ mile runs were done about 2 weeks ago where it went 11.3 at 124MPH with a 1.74 60ft. AND 11.3 at 123MPH with a 1.73 60ft. The best time the car ran was 11.2 at 122MPH with a boost leak. With the new trap and a better 60 ft I don't doubt at all the car will go well in the 10s. The full build thread on this car can be seen at this link: (this build is after the rear tank, Heat Exchanger, Downpipes, and IC pump have been already done) I can also provide videos of how the car sounds and runs. google : Car at Speedriven :) More mods for the season there is also an article about the car google Building a 10 sec CL600 Kamil You have no coil issues to be worried about with this car since it has 2 brand new coils with not even 500 miles on both with a lifetime warranty. There are no check engine lights or codes on this car. There are 4 issues with the car which I will fix before the car goes off to its new owner. The vac on the passenger side door is not working properly, and there is a light vibration on the wheels due to incorrect balancing ( I believe). These issues will be taken care of as soon as I have the car back in the shop. If you have any questions about the car Marcin and Konrad from Speedriven can answer any questions about it. The front pass tire is leaking air very slowly when car sits, I will have a brand new tire put on before car is sold. The last Issue is the aftermarket front grille is cracking I have the OEM grille that comes with the car as well, if new owner wants a new painted aftermarket badgeless grilee I can also get that done. All these issues will be fixed and repaired once I have a serious buyer. This car is not for everyone it made 540RWHP and 760RWTQ on a mustang dyno at Boostin Performance which is a low reading dyno. 1. Speedriven Scorpion Intakes (Lambo Orange powder coated piping) 2. 2021 Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 is business class without the jet lag
Thu, Nov 21 2019Mercedes-AMG demonstrated how sporty a mammoth SUV can be by unveiling the 2021 GLS 63 S at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show. Across the Pacific, at the Guangzhou auto show in China, Mercedes-Maybach revealed another GLS variant that puts an unabashed focus on comfort. The 2021 GLS 600 ends years of rumors by finally taking Maybach into the SUV segment. (If you don't count the limited-edition G 650 Landaulet). It's not a standalone model developed from the ground up, and it's in no way related to the electric Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury concept introduced in 2018. It's a second-generation GLS dressed up in a Hugo Boss suit. Stylists spruced up the front end with Maybach's chromed waterfall grille and mesh inserts in the lower part of the bumper. An abundance of chrome trim (including big slabs of it in on the B-pillars) and Maybach emblems on the D-pillars further set the SUV apart from its non-Maybach-badged sibling. Buyers can order a two-tone paint job at an extra cost. 6.8-foot-long running boards automatically extend from under the body about a second after one of the passengers opens a door. Designers took advantage of the cavernous interior to replace the second- and third-row seats with a pair of business class-like chairs that offer heated, ventilated, massaging and reclining functions. Maybach developed the GLS with chauffeur-driven buyers in mind, so the passengers traveling in the back benefit from their own infotainment system with wireless headphones, folding tablets, wireless device chargers, plus heated and cooled cupholders. Alternatively, buyers can order the GLS as a five-seater with a three-person rear bench. The GLS 600 receives the twin-turbocharged, 4.0-liter V8 engine that's omnipresent in the Mercedes range. It delivers 550 horsepower from 6,000 to 6,500 rpm and 538 pound-feet of torque between 2,500 and 5,000 rpm in this application, and it spins the four wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission and 4Matic all-wheel drive. Mercedes pegs its zero-to-60-mph time at 4.8 seconds. The standard 48-volt mild hybrid system briefly gives the GLS 600 an additional 21 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. It also sends the kinetic energy it recuperates to the battery pack while braking or coasting, and powers a technology named E-Active Body Control which scans the road ahead and adjusts the suspension as needed if it detects a pothole, a bump or another obstacle.
2015 Mercedes-Benz S550 PHEV offers the best of both worlds it's ready to conquer
Thu, Nov 20 2014The Mercedes-Benz S-Class just keeps growing – both in terms of dimensions and in terms of variants. Nevermind the S-Class Coupe for a moment and focus only on the sedan: in North America alone, you can get the big Benz in S550, S600, S63 and S65 spec, and at the Los Angeles Auto Show this year, Daimler has rolled out the new Maybach version as well. But if it's a more environmentally friendly way to woosh around town in serene luxury that you're after, you'll want to look at the new S550 Plug-In Hybrid. Joining Daimler's growing range of battery-powered models alongside the E400 Hybrid, B-Class Electric Drive and Smart ED (the latter soon to be replaced by an all-new version), the S550 PHEV is the German automaker's first plug-in hybrid. It was first announced over a year ago and made its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year, but now the US-spec car is making its North American debut in LA. Promising "the performance of a V8 and the fuel consumption of a compact model," the S550 PHEV pairs a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 to an 80-kW electric motor, the S550 PHEV packs a combined 436 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque to reach 62 in just 5.2 seconds, top out at 130 miles per hour or drive up to 20 miles on electric mode alone. On the European combined cycle, it'll return an impressive 84 miles per gallon, all the while never skimping on the luxury. Scope it out in our gallery of photos from the show floor in LA and delve into the details in the press release below. First PLUG-IN HYBRID with a star: S550 PLUG-IN HYBRID The new Mercedes-Benz S550 PLUG-IN HYBRID blends an ultramodern hybrid drive configuration with the unique innovations and the luxurious equipment and appointments of the S-Class. The luxury sedan impresses with exceptional dynamism and efficiency. Thanks to standard pre-entry climate control it also offers unique climate comfort. The first certified three-liter luxury sedan in the world is a further milestone on the road to emission-free mobility. "The S550 PLUG-IN HYBRID is the first luxury sedan with the performance of a V8 and the fuel consumption of a compact model. The greatest challenge in this is to translate efficiency into superior performance. In this respect there is a highly interesting parallel with our successful Formula 1 racing car, which likewise has a turbocharged V6 engine and a high-tech hybrid drive," says Prof. Dr.
Mansory G63 AMG Sahara Edition substitutes performance for taste
Wed, Mar 4 2015We aren't sure if it's an unwritten rule or not, but it seems like European tuners are wholly incapable of building cars whose aesthetics don't offend people blessed with the gift of sight. Take Mansory, for example. The Swiss tuner has turned its hand to the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, a vehicle that on it's own is not exactly a visual stunner. Functional sure, but not exactly beautiful. But with Mansory wielding the design pen, the result is, well, yeah. It's not great. This is the Mansory G63 AMG Sahara Edition, and surprisingly, its camouflaged paint scheme is one of its least obnoxious qualities. But its grille, headlights, hood scoop, roof-mounted lights and rear spoiler just don't do this Mercedes any favors. And for some reason, the tuning firm has decided to put two different styles of 22-inch alloys. The driver's side isn't horrible, although we can't say the same about passenger-side hoops. The interior treatment is nothing compared to the cabin, though. Falcons. There are falcons in the headrests. No, we don't know why either. The avian theme isn't limited to the headrests, though, as Mansory has added wings to the seats, dash and door panels, all the while continuing on with camouflage color scheme on certain interior surfaces. Of course, if you can live with the design decisions, you'll be getting a ludicrously potent G-Wagen. Mansory has boosted the 5.5-liter, biturbocharged V8 to 828 horsepower while it's actually been limited to 737 pound-feet of torque. We aren't sure what the addition of 292 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque does to the G63's run to 60, although we're betting the Mansory version is a lot quick than the 5.3-second stock time. Check out our live gallery of the G63 AMG Sahara Edition, from the floor of the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. Related Video:
