CAR HAS 182,000 MILES BUT FEELS LIKE A CAR WITH 40,000 MILES. RUNS GREAT AND WITH NO MESSAGES ON THE DASH. CAR IS A 1 OWNER AND HAS NEVER BEEN ABUSED AND CLEAN FROM ANY ACCIDENTS. Mercedes-AMG teases 2016 C63 Coupe [w/video]
Fri, Jul 10 2015Mercedes-AMG says it has "something fast" on the way. We now know it's the C63 Coupe, which will be unveiled to the world at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September. The carmaker teased its hot new two-door on Facebook, with a series of elusive photos showing a camouflaged C63 at the track. Something fast, indeed. We just drove the 2015 Mercedes-AMG C63 S sedan and found it to be absolutely wonderful. It's no slouch, either – the four-door will run 0-60 in under four seconds. We expect the same from the upcoming coupe, thanks to the incredibly powerful, 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 under the hood. The C63 sedan produces 503 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque in S guise. The coupe should do the same. The AMG C63 will debut with the rest of the C-Class Coupe range at the Frankfurt show, or possibly even a bit earlier. We can't wait. Rare Isdera Imperator 108i flexes its considerable muscles
Mon, 05 Aug 2013The Isdera Imperator 108i is a remarkably rare supercar from the late 80s and early 90s. Born of a Mercedes-Benz concept car, it's powered by a range of AMG-developed V8s, with five to six liters of displacement, depending on the engine. The example shown here, lapping the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit, features the most potent 6.0-liter V8 available. And rather than just being driven about on a perfectly clean racing line, it's freaking power sliding!
Yes, there's something eternally childlike about a wedge-shaped supercar from our formative years being flung about a Belgian racetrack. Adding to the appeal is the Imperator's stumpy, periscopic rear mirror, sticking out of the roof. Even after being out of production for 20 years, this is still a wild, wild car and we'd happily snap up the opportunity pilot one of the 36 Isderas that were built. Mercedes-AMG teases GT interior, announces fall 2014 debut
Tue, 15 Apr 2014Mercedes-Benz opted to tease the assembled media at its post-New York Auto Show party, showing off a pair of images of the exquisitely crafted interior of the highly anticipated successor of the SLS AMG - the V8-powered Mercedes-AMG GT.
Slated for a debut in the fall at either Paris or Los Angeles (we're betting Paris), you'll note straight away that there's something wrong with this car's name. Where's the "Benz?" Well, it's been ditched to, as Mercedes says, "make the dream of the authentic Mercedes-AMG sports car come true." Sorry Karl.
"The new Mercedes-AMG GT proves that we will be positioning AMG as a dynamic sports car brand even more strongly and aggressively than before," said Tobias Moers, CEO of Mercedes-AMG.
