UP FOR SALE IS A 1982 300 SD TURBODIESEL. THE BODY IS IN FAIR CONDITION. YOU CAN SEE THE PAINT ON THE HOOD IS FADED. ALSO ON THE SIDE OF THE ROOF ON RIGHT THE CLEARCOAT IS PEELING A LITTLE. THERE IS A LITTLE RUST HOLE UNDERNEATH BY THE PASSENGERS DOOR. THE MOTOR PURRS LIKE A KITTEN, VERY STRONG MOTOR. THE TRANNY WORKS BUT HAS A LITTLE BIT OF A HARD SHIFT , FIRST TO SECOND AND A LITTLE SLIDE BETWEEN SECOND AND THIRD. It would seem the act of dying hard brings with it lots of wanton destruction of the four-wheeled kind. According to John Moore, director of A Good Day To Die Hard, starring Bruce Willis, There were 132 (cars) that could never be used again. Another 518 required a lot of work. And damn right there were some good cars there... That's the fun of it."

"With Die Hard it's about how audacious the action is," says Moore. "So you have to drive over a Lamborghini. An actual one. And yes it hurts me. I'm a car fanatic." Yeah. Sounds like it hurt really bad... though not as bad as the final tally after all the carnage had been counted: "Someone showed me the numbers on the car chase and soup to nuts, you put it all together it was like an $11 million sequence."

Let it be known, Jay Leno is a man of the people. Long-time viewers will recall the time he walked fans of his popular video series around the various projects going on in his eponymous garage. One such vehicle was his 1972 Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.3, which he'd planned on fitting with the powertrain from the awesome SLS AMG. But rather than just make the move and be done with it, Leno asked viewers whether he should restore the silver sedan or carry on with his plan to resto-mod. Well, the restoration team won, and the 6.3-liter sports sedan soldiers on unmolested. That is, of course, no bad thing, according to Leno. In his latest video, he revisits the 1972 luxury sedan, and takes it for a spin around Los Angeles. Fans of Mercedes' big-grilled 1970s styling won't want to miss this video.
