1990 Mercedes-benz 300d 2.5 Sedan 4-door 2.5l on 2040-cars
Las Vegas, Nevada, United States
This is a classic
Mercedes-Benz fuel efficient 300D 2.5 Turbo Diesel, 124 body style.
Always garaged and never smoked in. This car is usually always covered when
under the sun. I purchased this car
February 25, 1996 from Chaisson Motor Cars here in Las Vegas. There are very
minor blemishes on the surface but I would rate the paint finish as Very Good.
No Rust. New: Michelin tires, front brake pads, air conditioning compressor,
and wheel alignment. Practically all the maintenance and service on this car has
been done at Mercedes-Benz of Escondido because they treat people with older
cars with respect and they are very honest. This car starts without hesitation
even on cold days. Cruise Control, right rear window and Antenna do not work.
Automatic transmission tends to slip slightly in cold weather. This car is all
original. It comes with documentation showing maintenance records. A miner
point, the spare tire and rim have never been used. I would be pleased to send
you any extra photos of this car. Don't miss out on this great showing
classic vehicle. Personally, I have never felt ashamed
to drive anywhere in this car and everyone that looks at it are impressed.

Mercedes A45 AMG in downhill battle with slipstream skateboarder
Mon, 30 Sep 2013We're told it takes "performance, control and expression" to pilot a longboard skateboard down a mountain road, and that those happen to be the same values embodied in the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG. That's how the two came to be combined in a black-and-white short film called Silver Slipstream.
There's no talking, no engine note and no color, just some music, a 'boarder and a car on a long cruise down the Franschhoek Pass in the Western Cape of South Africa." Despite that, it's actually a pretty entertaining video of the latest Mercedes-Benz hot hatch married with extreme sports. You can watch how it all goes down in the video below.
Daimler buying 12% stake in Beijing Auto
Tue, 19 Nov 2013Daimler and Beijing Automotive are officially going steady, with the German company set to take a 12-percent stake in the Chinese brand tomorrow. The two are already tied up in a Mercedes engine plant in Beijing, of which BAIC will increase its stake in, from 50 to 51 percent. Daimler will also get two seats on the Chinese company's board. BAIC may also gain the ability to produce cars on Mercedes-Benz platforms, according to Automotive News Europe.
The investment in BAIC comes ahead of that company's initial public offering, according to a report form Bloomberg, which indicates the deal will be inked tomorrow in the Chinese capital. According to the report, if the circumstances are right, BAIC may turn around and invest in the Germany company "soon."
It's not entirely clear just how much the 12-percent cut is costing Daimler, although it seems reasonable to assume that, as it's ahead of the IPO, the parent company of Mercedes is getting a bit of a bargain.
Next Mercedes S-Class stretching into this 600 Pullman limo
Fri, 15 Mar 2013To the concern of nobody in particular, Mercedes-Benz will not be re-upping its Maybach line of ultra-luxury limousines. No, instead the German automaker will be stretching its already roomy S-Class, to make this upcoming 600 Pullman version of the decked-out beast.
The car in our new gallery of spy shots is sporting beefy B-pillars and a massive set of rear doors that should allow perfectly graceful ingress and egress from what is likely to be a palatial rear space. (In one photo we can even see a long-wheelbase S-Class in line with the new Pullman, handily exhibiting the size of the new variant.) The exterior modifications are otherwise obscured, though we can guess at revised front and rear fascia and lighting elements, based on both end being heavily taped for these test runs.
It's a good bet that the Pullman will make use of M-B's twin-turbocharged V12 engine, though sources indicate that a hybrid version might eventually be in the offing, as well.
