This auction is for a 1981 Mercedes 380SL hardtop convertible with only 93k actual miles. It is a 1 owner vehicle with a clean autocheck. The exterior color is yellow and the interior has the very nice brown leather which is in excellent condition. This mercedes starts right up everytime and drives very good and strong with no shakes or noises..overall very smooth ride. It does have near new tires all the way around. The exterior paint has some clear peel on the hood and both fenders and just a little on the passenger door, the rest of the vehicle paint is good..It has 2-3 small dings/chips as expected for used vehicle 30+ years old and there is a dent/small damage on the right side rear right below the rear bumper( see pics not very bad).I was surprised for the overall condition of this 1981 Mercedes 380SL Roadster. It has the origanol windshield with Mercedes Benz signature still on in right lower corner of windshield and all origanol stickers on the door jam and under the hood (see pics).
Now to the interior, it is in very good /excellent condition and seats don't have any wear. The dash does not have any cracks like alot of these do, there is a dash cover over it as well.I have looked the car over and don't see any rust if any very very small. It does have a clean autocheck being 1 owner vehicle, no accidents and mileage accurate. Now the A/C does not come on which seems to be something to do with the electrical wire or the switch we don't know..Everything else works on this car.Ive taken quite a few pics for everyone so let me know if you have any questions. Thanks and serious bidders only.
This is a no reserve auction which means the highest bidder wins do not miss out!!
Ive added lots of high quality enlarged pics to allow the page to load to see them below.

2015 Mercedes-AMG C63 S First Drive [w/video]
Tue, Feb 24 2015As I mashed the throttle heading into the back straight of a nearly three-mile-long race track, I couldn't help but center my mind on two ostensibly disparate subjects: physics and pistons. If the heart of an automobile is its engine, the heart of the engine are its rotating bits – the crankshaft, pistons and the block they're nested inside. It seems fitting, then, that the internals of the twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 typify the brand-new 2015 Mercedes-AMG C63 sedan I found myself piloting in Portugal. Whereas the last C-Class AMG availed itself of a brute of an engine, employing 6.2 liters of displacement to make its 451 horsepower the old fashioned way, the latest AMG's V8 engine has been downsized radically. I had the opportunity earlier in the day to actually hold the pistons of the new 4.0 Biturbo V8 in my hands, alongside those of the outgoing 6.2. The difference in size is staggering, the new lumps looking downright picayune in comparison to the latter. These eight seemingly diminutive pistons turn combustion into crankshaft-spinning power inside a block that is smaller, lighter and more compact than I'd have thought possible, considering the prodigious output the engine spits out. I had gone into this assignment expecting to pen an ode to lost love; a sonnet of sorrow bemoaning the switch from massive cylinders to wheezing power adders. But I was wrong. In fact, the report that follows may indeed read a little like a love song, except it will heap praise not on what used to be, but instead on what is now possible. The new heart of AMG more than makes up for its reduction in size by relying on turbochargers and smart engineering to turn just 4.0 liters into 469 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque starting at just 1,750 rpm, or as much as 503 ponies and 516 lb-ft in uprated S guise. Foot to the floor, eyes focused on the turn ahead, a hard right-hander named Primeira that requires hard braking and quick reflexes, I had a fleeting moment of clarity: These are some hard-working pistons. A few days on the street and track in and around Faro, Portugal, has convinced me that the new Mercedes-AMG C63 is a better car in any meaningful measurement than it was before. And I'll go one step further. Not only is this the best C-Class AMG ever, it's also my new favorite in the hotly contested segment that includes such knee-benders as the BMW M3 and M4.

Mercedes releases 6x6 G63 AMG specs and pics [w/video]
Fri, 15 Mar 2013Mercedes-Benz has finally dropped full details on its insane G63 AMG 6x6. The machine puts 544 horsepower to all six wheels thanks to a twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V8. A seven-speed gearbox shuttles power to the ground via three sets of portal axles, which helps give this machine a full 15.75 inches of ground clearance. By comparison, the standard G63 AMG sits with just 8.27 inches of ground clearance. The extra lift allows this 6x6 to ford nearly 40 inches of water and run massive 37-inch tires. All told, there are five differential locks on this thing, all controlled by a special "locking logic" that provides the best traction possible for any given situation.
The controls offer up three stages of locking, which we can only assume range from JKLOL to OMGWTF. Right now, AMG says this monstrosity is only a show vehicle, but we imagine it wouldn't take much to convince the team to whip up one of your very own. Check out our full gallery and the press release below for all the nitty gritty. While you're down there, you can also check out the video on the machine one more time.
