This car has been garaged or under cover for most of the last 10 years. I am selling this car for a friend. i have had the car for 2 weeks. I have driven it around town a few times and everything works as it should. Paint is great, no dents. Looks great from near and far. Interior is very nice. Drivers seat has some tears on the seat part, dash has a couple cracks, everything else looks pretty great. Odometer stopped at 77004 miles sometime in the last 10 years. This car has been in Marfa, Texas for the last 10 years (it has never left) and has been driven less than 1000 miles so we can assume it has less than 80000 actual miles on it. Original Becker AM/FM radio still works if you can believe that. The driver's side fog lamp lens is missing. The assembly will be in the trunk if you want to get another lens and put back on the car. It starts up every time and drives great even after sitting for a week. No mechanical problems that I can find. When going around corners sometimes there is a clunk noise coming from trunk area, doesn't affect performance of vehicle. There are some cracks in the paint on passenger side rear quarter panel (not very noticeable) - included a couple photos of that. I assume there was some body work done there well over a decade ago. Just telling potential buyers all the little things I noticed. This is not a big deal and isn't something that needs to be dealt with any time soon or ever, really. Included in auction are 2 more hubcaps in trunk and another grill housing + the fog lamp assembly. This car would be best as a town car. The previous owner says the car doesn't like to go much over 60 on the highway. I'm sure that could be remedied with an adjustment but it's great for getting around in style in town so maybe it's fine like this forever. depending on how you want to use the car. Don't recommend trying to drive this car from Marfa to your final destination at this point. Trailering or car transporter would be best. 2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK250 Bluetec gets 33 mpg, priced from $38,950*

It's been more than a year since we first saw the 2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK250 Bluetec unveiled at the 2012 New York Auto Show, but it looks like the compact diesel crossover is finally starting to roll into dealerships. Those wanting to buy a diesel GLK will only have to pony up an extra $1,500 over a base, gas-powered GLK350, as the GLK250's starting price is listed at $38,590 (*not including $905 destination charge).
The turbocharged 2.1-liter four-cylinder diesel produces 200 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, and Mercedes-Benz has also provided some fuel economy numbers for this model, with claimed EPA estimates of 24 miles per gallon city and 33 mpg highway. There is no listing for the GLK250 on the EPA's website yet, but the figures represent significant increase over the GLK350's lackluster 19 mpg city and 25 mpg highway figures, which are for the rear-wheel drive model. The GLK250 comes standard with the 4Matic all-wheel-drive system - a $2,000 option on GLK350 - meaning that if you want an all-wheel-drive version of the 2013 GLK, it's actually cheaper to opt for the diesel model. Mercedes-AMG teases GT interior, announces fall 2014 debut

Mercedes-Benz opted to tease the assembled media at its post-New York Auto Show party, showing off a pair of images of the exquisitely crafted interior of the highly anticipated successor of the SLS AMG - the V8-powered Mercedes-AMG GT.
Slated for a debut in the fall at either Paris or Los Angeles (we're betting Paris), you'll note straight away that there's something wrong with this car's name. Where's the "Benz?" Well, it's been ditched to, as Mercedes says, "make the dream of the authentic Mercedes-AMG sports car come true." Sorry Karl.
"The new Mercedes-AMG GT proves that we will be positioning AMG as a dynamic sports car brand even more strongly and aggressively than before," said Tobias Moers, CEO of Mercedes-AMG.

Mentioned at the debut of the redesigned Mercedes-Benz E-Class back in January, Mercedes has finally pulled back the curtain on the E63 AMG S, which was on display at the New York Auto Show in wagon guise. The 2014 E63 AMG S ups the ante even more from a "base" E63 AMG, improving the car's performance and styling - not that it needed help with either to begin with.
Our favorite S-model upgrade is the added output tweaked out of the 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 577 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque, which represents a substantial gain of 27 hp and 59 lb-ft of torque over the stock E63. In wagon form, the E63 AMG S can run from 0-60 miles per hour in just 3.6 seconds and hit an electronically limited top speed of 186 mph. All 2014 E63 AMGs come with Mercedes' 4Matic all-wheel-drive system, but the S-Model adds in a limited-slip rear differential for improved performance.
Mercedes has made sure that the extra money being spent on the S-Model is instantly noticeable with slightly different design cues and black along with 10-spoke wheels with red brake calipers peeking through. Plenty of silver-chrome and high-gloss black accents finish off the exterior styling, while the interior adds Alcantara on the steering wheel, accent stitching on the leather and contrasting silver seat belts on models with the black interior.
