With extra SPAL Cooling fan moving like 4600 cfm
wired to the ECM to function correctly, no switches to deal with, a fan even comes on as soon as you turn on the A/C, just like it should.

Drivetrain
The engine and transmission, computer and wiring harness came from a 2001 firebird with 39k miles on it. It was installed with Hinson motorsports parts by a mechanic shop when the vehicle had 43k miles i think. I bought the car with 46k miles and have been driving it almost every day since then to and from work. I have put 14,000 miles on the car since bought it. The car has a clean car fax. All of the gauges work but the oil pressure gauge works backwards. The engine and trans have not been separated. Custom cold air intake with K&N filter. New MSD Wires and plugs last year.

A/C
The A/C system Is Fully functional. It utilizes both Mazda parts and GM parts. They are wired to work together like GM intended. Custom Made A/C lines made it all possible. IT blows cool. The car originally Came with R12. Now that we are using R134, it doesn't cool as well as R-12, so, i think the car needs a bigger A/C condenser to make it blow really cold. All parts are working as they should but its still just blows cool. i will put some gauges on the a/c this week and see if it needs  Freon.

Audio
Kenwood Excelon flip up touch screen DVD player
MB Quarts in the door and rear
Kicker L7 10" square SUBWOOFER
2 Rockford Fosgate Amps
Punch 800 / i think its going out because it will quit and doesn't come back on until u turn it on and off
Punch 300
two Yellow top Optimas
Custom mounted batteries, amps, sub, WITH ACCESS TO THE SPARE AND TOOL TO CHANGE A TIRE WITHOUT DRILLING ANY HOLES IN THE CAR OR SCREWS INTO THE BODY, ONLY EXISTING ANCHOR POINTS WHERE USED.

Wiring
All the wiring done on the car has been soldered.
There is 0AWG wire running from the alternator to the batteries in the rear
and another run of 0AWG going to the front of the car to feed the car.
Both runs are fused for safety

Exhaust
OEM manifolds lead to a custom sub section, then on to the Flowmaster Super 40 series muffler.

Body
ALL ORIGINAL
Aluminum hood
Some parts of the car have been repainted.
Some have not
The fenders have been Rolled, causing the paint to chip at wheel opening, see pics
The doors and the rear hatch have Dynamat like material installed in them
There are some dents and scratches on the paint, see pics, over all nice, not bad enough for me to repaint it. It will just get dented anyway.

Cruise control has been hooked up to the ls1, but doesn't function at this time, i never looked into it after i made the cable. Cruise button lights up on dash when pushed, but no response from the car.

16,000 miles on this conversion, was built to be my daily driver
NO TRADES
Clean car fax
the sunroof has to be helped to open most of the time. I think the contacts on the motor are dirty. It works fine just not as strong as it did. Was that way when i got it.

Silver paint outside, 8 out of 10, but not perfect
Red and black interior. 9 out of 10, but not perfect
the driver door panel black insert panel has cracked, and for some reason the vent trim is also chipped, the driver seat needs to be patched, see pics, all were that way when i bought the car

I have never done a burnout in this car. I have never gone over 80 miles an hour, well, ok, once i did 100. I have never gotten a speeding ticket. What im trying to say is that this car has not been beat on. Only pampered.

I'm sure i have forgotten something. I have done my best to accurately describe my car, if you have questions please ask before bidding.
I reserve the right to end auction early as the vehicle is for sale locally.

Driving the Honda Ridgeline and marveling at Tesla | Autoblog Podcast #638

Fri, Jul 31 2020

In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski and Associate Editor Byron Hurd. They start off talking about why more people should buy the Honda Ridgeline, because it's a pretty darned good truck. Next, Byron talks about some Hyundais. He shares his experiences with the 2020 Sonata Hybrid and talks briefly about the prototype 2021 Elantra currently occupying his driveway. Up next, Jeremy shares his feelings about the BMW X1 crossover he spent some time with, prompting the gang to mull over the notion of BMW's modern interpretation of "Ultimate Driving Machine." After that, Byron talks about towing his 1990 Mazda Miata with the 2020 Infiniti QX80, and then they wrap up with some discussion of the mystery surrounding the Ford Maverick and some comments on the current state of Tesla. Mazda keeping non-hybrid, non-electric Skyactiv strategy

Tue, Mar 29 2016

Mazda still thinks that it can buck the trend of adding those fancy batteries and electric motors to its cars. At least for a little while longer. Hopefully. Speaking to Auto Express recently, Mazda's European boss, Jeff Guyton, said that he expects his company's cars to be able to get a lot more efficient without resorting to any of that fancy electrification stuff. "I think there's at least 20-30 percent better fuel economy by the end of the decade," he said. He said that he expected to get to Europe's low target of 95 grams of CO2 per kilometer, "without any significant deployment of electrical drive." This part is all in line with Mazda's long-term Skyactiv strategy, as laid out back in 2011 and first mentioned publicly in 2010. Remember, this is the company that once proudly proclaimed, "Not Electric. Not Hybrid. Not A Drag To Drive." As explained back in 2011, Mazda hopes to wait until other automakers have done all of the heavy lifting on developing plug-in and hybrid tech so that when Mazda enters the market, things will be cheaper. Of course, Mazda has been quietly testing all-electric vehicles and Guyton said that there may be an Mazda EV at some point. "We are interested in electric technology and it will be in the distant future when it will be quite important," he told AE. "But we think it will take some time to be commercially attractive without tax payer-funded incentives." How much of a delay? Well, there is a gas-electric Mazda 3 hybrid available in Japan that uses some powertrain parts from the Toyota Prius, and we all know that the Prius has been around for ages. Maybe in 2025, Mazda will come out with a Leaf-based Mazda 2. Related Video: Green Mazda Fuel Efficiency Electric Hybrid skyactiv mazda skyactiv
