Good condition overall. Paint is clean and glossy. Tires are new, wheels are good with some normal road rash. No dents or dings. Trunk is clean and has the shade cover and Bose sound system, (the clamp that connects to 2 pieces is broken). Behind front seats compartment is clean and has the 2 storage compartments. The carpet is clean but faded some from normal wear and tear. The floor mats need cleaning and are faded some. The glass and dash are very clean overall too. Has a new battery and catback. Sounds good! Lastly the passenger side door handle is broken and the cluster top is cracked. The passenger seat is in good condition, but the drivers side "seat" is cracked and worn. The passenger side door grip is gone. Haven't been able to find a replacement yet. The stereo and antenna work fine, the A/C works good. All switches and lights work fine. The instrument cluster is acting up, meaning the speedometer/tach may not work. Not sure why. Car is fun to drive and handles great. Any questions concerning the condition of the vehicle send me an email. This is a no reserve auction! I require 500.00 deposit within 24 hours of auction end. The rest of the monies is due within 1 week of sale. I can store the car in my garage for up to 1 month until the car is picked up. Sold as-is with no warranty.

Mazda recalling 88k vehicles for ECU glitch
Fri, 04 Apr 2014Need a break from news about the General Motors ignition switch recall? This Mazda recall should serve as a nice change of pace. It involves 88,000 cars across the globe, and focuses on the brand's three most recent (and important) models - the Mazda3, Mazda6 and CX-5.
The issue rests with Mazda's new i-ELOOP regenerative braking system. Apparently there's a problem with the ECU program that monitors whether a capacitor in the regen system is working. Acceleration is affected, and in severe cases, the engine could stall. There have been no mention of accidents or injuries due to the issue, and the glitch itself can be cured by an ECU reflash.
As i-ELOOP is a fairly new system for Mazda, particularly in the US, the total number of affected models is rather low, with just 6,500 US cars affected. Europe is hit hardest, with 38,000 models while Mazda's home market of Japan adds 27,600 cars and crossovers. Affected models were built between October 2012 and January 2014.
2016 Mazda CX-3 is a 2 cute ute
Tue, 18 Nov 2014One day removed from our latest round of spy photos, Mazda has finally lifted the veil on its 2016 CX-3 crossover, giving us our very first glimpse at the Mazda2-based entry into the rapidly expanding world of subcompact crossovers.
Mazda's KODO design language is once again on display, presenting some increasingly familiar styling touchstones including a five-point grille that integrates neatly with the front headlights to present an almost protruding snout that's both clean and complex. Like previous KODO designs, the CX-3's profile features swoopy character lines that highlight the wheel arches and a higher beltline. Mazda has cleverly chosen to black out the CX-3's D-pillar in favor of a floating roof look, a design decision that adds to the model's fashionable styling. It's the rear of the design that borrows most heavily from the Mazda2, largely in the shape of the headlights and rear hatch.
Globally, under that fashionable sheetmetal sits Mazda's 2.0-liter Skyactiv four-cylinder that can be mated to a six-speed manual or automatic. Unfortunately, in North America, it looks like we'll only get the automatic. Regardless of gearbox, power can be sent to an optional next-gen all-wheel-drive system that uses the active torque control system found on the Mazda CX-5. Like the Mazda2, front-drive is standard.
