I'm selling a 1985 Mazda RX7 GSA.  The air conditioning works like new.  The interior has been scotch guarded every summer before the car goes to car shows. This RX7 has won a few trophies for best and most original car in it's class.

This car comes from the U.S.A and as of last year has a Canadian ownership.  It was a one - owner car, always kept in a heated garage, before being purchased by me.  Upon receiving the car in Toronto, Ontario, last year, I had it certified and stored in the garage for the winter, with my other sports car.  Due to lack of storage space in the garage I need to sell one of my cars.  This car will be listed at no reserve with a buy now option!

Make no mistake - this car is completely stock!!!!!
Everything is original, including paint.  The only things that have been replaced are the battery and tires.  There are no leaks of any kind.  Drives like a dream!!
All fluids, including transmission fluids, and all filters, have been changed.  This car is ready to be driven ANYWHERE!!

Original sticker price, in 1985, was $12 884, plus $725 for ziebart, rust proof.
This beauty is a turn key car, in like-new condition.

You have to see it to believe it! Come and have a look or send a third party to inspect it for you.  A copy of the AutoCheck Report is on hand.  It runs so well, that you can drive it back to the U.S. if you want.  For more information or questions, give me a call at 416-550-0745, my name is Vic.  I would be more than happy to answer all questions.
Thank you and happy bidding!

The car is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Farmer moves illegally parked car with tractor

Wed, May 4 2016

Bad parking in London can get you a ticket or the boot, but bad parking in the West Country is treated in a more direct manner. One motorist learned this fact in early May when a video published by The Daily Mail showing a farmer moving a car with his tractor went viral. Lianne Dunn and Ally Boxall were out for a drive near Marksbury when they came upon a strange sight. Coming at them down the narrow country lane was a tractor with a red Mazda6 perched on its front-end loader attachment. One of the women pulled out her cell phone and filmed the odd scene while the other backed into a convenient driveway to let the tractor past. As the tractor trundled by with its load, they asked the young man guiding the driver what was going on. "They parked in this chap's drive," he said in his broad, West Country burr. "He asked us to move the car, nobody claimed it." When asked where the pair were taking the car, the unnamed farmer replied, "We're going to put it up on the main road. It's the police's problem then." The two women, obviously entertained by the spectacle, exchange a few more words with the young farmer before they finally drive off. "This is the best!" one of the women says as on the video. "Never piss a farmer off!" Mazda delays US launch of Skyactiv-D engine

Thu, 09 Jan 2014

Japanese automakers haven't lead the charge towards diesel power in the same way as, say, the Germans have. But Mazda is out to change that. It has been following Audi's lead on the racetrack with oil-burning racecars right here in America, and will soon translate that excitement to the road by introducing its Skyactiv-D engine in North America. It just won't happen as soon as we expected.
Mazda announced today that, while its diesel engine meets current emissions requirements, the company has decided once again to push back an introduction originally slated to kick off in the Spring. According to the brief statement below, Mazda wants to take more time to find "the right balance between fuel economy and Mazda-appropriate driving performance."
In other words, the Zoom-Zoom brand apparently thinks its diesel engine doesn't deliver the zoom-zoom American drivers would expect, so we'll have to wait just a little bit longer. Details to follow closer to launch, whenever that will ultimately take place.

Mazda's Tokyo concept foretells of rotary revival

Tue, Oct 27 2015

Mazda has long been rumored to be planning a revival of its rotary-powered sports car. Some of those rumors may have come down to wishful thinking as much as concrete information. But now, on the eve of the Tokyo Motor Show, new details have come to light. The Japanese automaker is slated to unveil a two-door sports car concept, previewed in the teaser image above. Little in the way of firm information has been made available prior to the show car's debut, but sources are now citing senior company officials as confirming it has a rotary engine. "It is a two-door, two-seater, Mazda CEO Masamichi Kogai told Autocar. "It is a pure sports car design. We have MX-5 and another icon is a rotary sports car. We haven't talked about market reach but this would be in that segment." R&D chief Kiyoshi Fujiwara added: "People think rotary can not meet modern eco demands. The SkyActiv engineers worked on rotary and gave it cutting-edge tech. It is an essential part of our DNA and it [will] just be passed onto future engineers. It is synonymous with the brand. Some time in the future it will return and be called SkyActiv-R." The last time Mazda produced a rotary-powered model, of course, was with the RX-8, which ended production in 2012. That was preceded by three generations of RX-7, the first of which will be celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2018. If it manages to get the Wankel technology up to modern standards, that could provide just the right opportunity for Mazda to launch a new model. Reached for comment, Mazda spokesman Jacob Brown told Autoblog: "While we can confirm that Mazda continues to develop rotary engines, we cannot confirm production of a rotary at this point. Rotaries are one of the signature engineering technologies that define Mazda, and we will continue exploring them to see where they may fit for production applications." Related Video:
