Rare 2006 Awd Turbo Mazdaspeed 6 Spd Rust Free Az Car Very Well Maintained Ms6 on 2040-cars
Tucson, Arizona, United States
2006 MazdaSpeed 6 AWD Turbo Here is my info and take on the car first: Very low production # of a factory built Hi Performance Sedan. Im helping a good friend sell his well maintained, almost anal retentive to the point 2006 MazdaSpeed 6. Adult owned and driven this car has not been beat on or raced on a regular basis. The car has never been in the snow and because Az gets about 12" of rain a YEAR, its hardly ever been driven in the rain. The owner is actually more of a 4x4 guy, but wanted something cool fast and different, so about a yr or so ago this was the answer to the vehicle he was looking for instead of driving his lifted 4x4 everyday. If you are looking at the auction you may already know a little bit about how rare these cars and and how well designed these cars are out of the box from the factory. Built to take on other AWD cars in its class, STi , Evo etc and Mazda did it very well and under the radar. DRIVETRAIN: Turbo AWD 2.3L w a 6 spd // All dealer maintained INTERIOR: Super clean and well kept leather is in better shape then you may expect. Even for a 7 yr old car, its in great condition. Dont expect NEW, but check out the pics. Owner is a Non smoker too. Tinted windows normal for AZ SUSPENSION: All stock original down to the OE alloy rims Rides and drives great. A few of the rims do have some road rash, but its all cosmetic. BODY: All original body panels and paint . Shown in the last few pics near the bottom youll see the pics of the obvious damage. Door ding / scuff on the lower front bumper / and small split in the lower front air dam bumper area. Keep in mind its a 7 yr old car. The owners name is Jordan and you can email him directly at (jordan@thetechkeys.com) or email us thru ebay if you want. Scammers dont bother haha. Now here is the info supplied to me by the owner for the ad: I am sad to sell my 2006 Mazdaspeed6 but I am moving to LA and will be buying a different, more appropriate car for the Ca surroundings The car has 94,889 miles on it and is in near perfect condition. The body has a few small dings but that is about it. All work performed on this car was done here in Tucson at the Jim Click Mazda dealer on auto mall. I have very thorough records of all work -scanned as PDF's that I can provide digitally, printed, or both. The work includes very expensive wear items like the rear differential, AWD coupler, timing belt, valve job, and emissions system update - all already done professionally. On top of that I have had every single small detail fixed at the dealer and will continue to do so till the car sells. All oil changes done on schedule at dealer as well. If you are good at driving a manual transmission you are welcome to test drive, otherwise please bring someone with you who is. Turbocharged and intercooled 2.3 Liter DOHC 16-valve inline-4, all aluminum with direct injection.? Power (SAE net): 274 bhp @ 5500 rpm? Torque (SAE net): 280 lb-ft @ 3000 rpm AWD with Selectable Dynamic Stability Control 6 Speed Manual w/Overdrive Moon Roof with Power Sliding Glass (Motor replaced 3 months ago) Bose 6-Disc CD Changer in Dash with BlueTooth and Steering Wheel Controls (Aftermarket BlueTooth and Aux in) Power 4 Wheel Disc with 4 Wheel ABS Dual Front, Head, and Side Curtain airbags Power Driver seat Heated front seats Rear Window Defroster Limited Slip Rear Differential Leather Surfaced Bucket Seats, Steering Wheel, and shift knob - White and Black Power Door Locks and Windows with 1 Touch auto up and down on all four Cruise Control Automatic Climate Control Rear Lip Spoiler Remote Control Key Card for Keyless entry and Engine Start Fog Lights Tilt & Telescoping Steering Wheel Headlamp Control (Can adjust the HID's up and down from dash) Rubber Floor Mats from dealer Sun Shade from dealer EMAIL WITH ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE THE PICS BELOW SPEAK VOLUMES but Im sure I may of overlooked some stuff. Mazda prices 2016 CX-3 from $20,840
Thu, Jul 16 2015Been eager to put your cash down on the hood of a new 2016 Mazda CX-3, but haven't known just how much to take out from the bank? You can call your branch manager now, because Mazda has released pricing details for its new subcompact crossover. The MSRP for the new CX-3 will start out at $20,840, including an $880 destination charge. (Alaskan buyers can expect to pay an extra $45 on top.) That's for the base-level Sport model with front-wheel drive. Tack on another $1,250 for all-wheel drive if you think you'll need the extra traction, but either way it'll be channeling 146 horsepower and just as much torque from a 2.0-liter inline-four through a six-speed automatic transmission. Step up to the Touring model and the retail price jumps up to $22,840 (with delivery), plus the same $1,250 for the AWD option. There's a Touring Technology package available for another $1,410 that includes moonroof, satellite radio, and cargo cover. Finally at the top of the line is the CX-3 Grand Touring for $25,870 (delivered), available with that same i-Activ all-wheel drive system, and an i-Activsense package that throws in an array of electronic conveniences and safety systems for another $1,920. So while you can get away with paying as little as $20,840 for the base model, a fully loaded CX-3 can run you as much as $29,040. So when Mazda had the opportunity to create its very own subcompact crossover to tackle the urban sprawl, as well as the road less-traveled, it did so the only way it would – with the fun-to-drive, stylish and upscale 2016 Mazda CX-3. 2016 Mazda CX-3 Subcompact Crossover Priced From $19,960 Nearing its mid-August expected on-sale date, Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) has released full pricing for its entry-level CUV offering, starting at an MSRP2 of $19,960 for the entry-level CX-3 Sport with front-wheel drive. As a $1,250 upgrade, buyers can select CX-3 Sport with Mazda's predictive i-ACTIV all-wheel drive that takes temperature, road conditions, steering-angle and weather into account, among other factors, to help optimize to which wheels engine power is routed for maximum performance and stability.
World Car of the Year finalists announced
Fri, 07 Mar 2014To say the 2014 Geneva Motor Show was packed full of news is an understatement as big as the show's home at the Palexpo convention center. Despite everything that we were able to cover during this year's show, there's still more coming out of Switzerland, including the announcement of the finalists for the 2014 World Car of the Year Awards.
We reported on the original list of finalists over three weeks ago, and now, that initial list has been pared down to three finalists for each of the five awards. The finalists were announced at a press conference by frequent Autoblog contributor and co-chair of the awards, Matt Davis (above).
The finalists for the overall title of 2014 World Car of the Year are the Audi A3, the BMW 4 Series and the Mazda3. The World Luxury Car of the Year will be either the Bentley Flying Spur, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class or the Land Rover Range Rover Sport, while the Performance Car of the Year will be awarded to the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, the Ferrari 458 Speciale or the Porsche 911 GT3 (which, um, yeah...).
Driving a $500 junker in a 500-mile off-road rally race | 'The List' #0500
Fri, Nov 10 2017Jessi and Patrick have done some insane rally races on "The List," but in an effort to continually out-do themselves, this might be the craziest yet. It's called the Gambler 500, and the idea is that 2,000-plus participants take $500 cars and drive them 500 miles across Oregon, mostly off-road. It's a maniacal mishmash of cars with not enough doors, too many doors, airplane wings strapped to the tops, graffiti'd cartoons on the hoods, stuffed animals hanging out the windows — you get the idea. Our hosts start the race with an absolutely epic Mazda Miata sitting atop super swampers. It didn't have a top, but have no fear because it had a roll cage, so ... that's better? Unfortunately though, they didn't have time to customize the car fully to their liking before the race, so the first stop after the starting gun was naturally a garage sale for some knickknacks to give the car a little more flair. One of the defining aspects of the Gambler 500 is having the most obnoxious, bonkers car possible, and the old Miata needed a bit of a kick in the ass. Thankfully, the crew found the largest teddy bear in existence, strapped that bad boy to the roll cage, and they were on their way. There are a few routes you can choose to take in the Gambler 500, and our crew chose the most challenging, called "The Devil's Butthole." A hilarious name for an outrageously fun route, it's definitely not one that many Miatas have likely tackled. And therein lies the gamble: Will they make it to the end? As always, you'll have to watch the episode above to find out. If you liked the episode, don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube page and like our Facebook page for more exclusive content from "The List" and if you're interested in learning more about the Gambler 500 or even participating in the event, check out their official website or follow them on Facebook!
