2012 Mazda 5 Sport - Carmax Quality Certified - No Reserve on 2040-cars
Powder Springs, Georgia, United States
This 2012 Mazda 5 Sport Is Carmax Quality Certified and probably represents the best minivan you can buy on Ebay as it pertains to overall condition.
This Mazda 5 is stunning in person and was diligently maintained for it's entire life (VIN: JM1CW2BL3C0112598) . You see that interior? That's exactly how I got it. No fake sprays to blend colors or applying a wet vac to hide stains. Other than giving this Mazda 5 a wash and filling up the gas tank, I didn't have to do anything else to it because the vehicle was already retail ready at Carmax. So what's the catch? Nothing. Once a vehicle fails to sell at a Carmax dealership after a certain period of time, it is wholesaled out to other car dealers. I happen to have received 100% positive feedback on Ebay for well over 10 years now on Ebay, and if you Google "Steven Lang and cars" you'll find out exactly who I am and what I do. I realize that I can probably turn this Ebay listing into a long and winding essay. So instead of doing that to the point when you get tired of reading the description, you can feel free to look at the pictures and call me instead. I can be reached at (770) 262-9880. Please note that I am not interested in a Buy It Now price, and I do charge a premium for aggravation. This vehicle will serve as a fantastic daily driver for a young family, or an older couple that wants the utility of a minivan without the bulk. So feel free to contact me and I wish you the best. |

Junkyard Gem: 1981 Mazda RX-7
Mon, Jul 11 2016The first-generation Mazda RX-7 was sold for the 1978 through 1985 model years, and for decades you'd see and hear these nimble little sports cars buzzing around American streets. Then, well, the apex seals went out, or owners tired of a 2,400-pound car that drank fuel like an Eldorado, or the floor pans were eaten by the Rust Monster... and then nearly all of them were gone. Enough of them remain, however, for a steady trickle to show up with depressing regularity in self-service wrecking yards. Here's a pretty solid '81 that I found in a Denver yard last month. The 12A Wankel engine in this car made 100 hp and 105 lb-ft of torque, which was very good for 1981 (considering that you could buy a new Camaro with a 115-horsepower V8 that year). The $9,385 RX-7 looked like an especially good value when compared to, say, the $11,299 Datsun 280ZX or the $8,997 Fiat 124 Sport Spider, being much lighter on its feet than the former and much quicker than the latter. Mazda will decide who gets the MX-5 RF Launch Edition, like it's Ferrari or something
Thu, Aug 18 2016When Mazda introduced the 2017 MX-5 Miata RF at the 2016 New York International Auto Show, the vehicle came as a surprise. Everyone was expecting a new Miata variant, but no one thought it would be a retractable fastback, especially one that looks this good. Mazda listened to all of the positive feedback and decided to offer the same vehicle from the auto show as a limited-edition model. But you can't just go down to the dealer and place an order, at least for now. It's called the MX-5 Miata RF Launch Edition, only 1,000 of them will be made, and they'll go only to Mazda's "valued customers." Instead of opening up orders to anyone, Mazda took a page out of Ferrari's book and is extending invitations to customers through email. The chosen few will have a specific amount of time to preorder the limited-edition model before the automaker gives everyone the opportunity to buy one, assuming there are any left. You might remember that Mazda did a similar thing with the first ND Miata roadsters – the 2016 MX-5 Launch Edition went to the first 1,000 customers that placed orders on www.longlivetheroadster.com. The Launch Edition is painted Machine Gray with a black roof panel and has Auburn Nappa leather on the inside – the same combination as the debut car. Future MX-5 RF models will be available with the same paint and leather, but will miss out on the black roof and special badges. Launch Edition buyers will also get a numbered Tourneau watch with the vehicle, and will only have just one choice to make – manual or automatic transmission. (We know which we'd choose.) Pricing for the RF Launch Edition has not been released, but we expect the regular RF to come in a little higher than the roadster's $25,750 base price. The MX-5 RF will go on sale early next year. Mazda and Fiat finalize deal for Alfa roadster, next-gen MX-5 Miata
Fri, 18 Jan 2013Although a little bit later than expected, Mazda and Fiat have signed a final agreement that will bring a next-generation MX-5 Miata to the Japanese automaker and a new roadster to Alfa Romeo. When the proposed arrangement was announced back in May, the two automakers had hoped to seal the deal last year, but it doesn't appear that the production timeline for these cars has slipped any, with both expected to start rolling off assembly lines in 2015.
Other than a shared chassis with a rear-wheel-drive layout, it sounds like the two cars are still planned to be distinct in their own ways from their styling right down to their engines. Mazda will produce both cars at a plant in Hiroshima, Japan, but it isn't clear what role each automaker will play in the cars' developmental process. The big question, of course, is what clever portmanteau name we can come up with, like Toyobaru. Mazda Romeo is the easy choice, but Alfazda might roll off the tongue a little better.
Scroll down for a brief press release from both automakers.
