You'll be bidding on this Mazda3, which is a very fun and economical car to own. This car has been an absolute blast to have for the past 4 years!  I've loved the sportiness and zip that this little car has brought; and it's consistently gotten between 25-30 mpg in normal driving conditions.  It has been a 2 owner vehicle and has been very well taken care of. I have changed the oil with only Castrol Synthetic for the past 4 years to ensure a top performing engine with long life. The engine definitely still has the "zoom-zoom" in it, with well maintained components. The car has been garaged and the paint is still beautifully crisp and glitters like new. The 60/40 split rear seats and hatchback provide a HUGE area for cargo hauling.

Model Options:
  • Power Tilting and Sliding Sunroof
  • Rear Spoiler
  • OEM Side Skirts and Rear Skirt
  • 6 Disc CD Changer Audio System
  • 4-Wheel Anti-lock Disc Brakes
  • 4-Speed "Sport Shift" Automatic Transmission
  • 17" Alloy Wheels
  • Remote Keyless Entry
  • Rear Window Defroster and Wiper
  • Steering Wheel Controls

Recent Upgrades:
  • Premium Sound System: Rockford Fosgate p152-s 5 1/4" Component Speaker & separate Tweeter set (front); Rockford Fosgate p1572 6"x8" speakers (rear); Rockford Fosgate "Punch" amplifier: pbr 300x4; "HushMat" sound-deadening adhesives
  • Professionally Tinted Windows (legal limits in Ohio= 50% front windows, 5% rear windows)
  • - New brake pads and rotors for all 4 wheels
  • - Replaced both front axles and some suspension components in the past 12 months
  • - 4 New Hankook Ventus V12 Evo, 205/50R-17 tires (see tread in picture)

You'll get the original documents of the car, along with the dealership promo-book, original window sticker, and key with remote.  While this car is in great shape, there are a few things I want to disclose to anyone looking at the car: The front driver headlight has stress cracks but this doesn't impair function (see picture).  The car has a couple of dings in it (hood, side door) that are shown in the pictures.  The air conditioning could probably be recharged for optimum coldness.  Please feel free to message me with any questions and good luck bidding!

Consumer Reports declares most and least loved cars [w/video]

Wed, Dec 3 2014

Consumer Reports is crunching the numbers from its annual owner-satisfaction survey, and part of that process is finding out how attached drivers are to their cars. CR simply asks readers of models up to three years old if they would buy the same vehicle again in light of their entire ownership experience, and tallies the results. After looking at the responses for about 350,000 vehicles, it turns out that people really love a certain California-built, electrically powered luxury sedan. That's right, this year's the overall winner was the Tesla Model S with a whopping 98 percent of owners saying they would purchase another one (the Model S also won this award last year, with 99 percent satisfaction). The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray came in a close second with 95 percent of drivers hoping to park another one in their garage. A few models weren't quite so favored, though. The Nissan Versa Sedan was the least loved model among its owners; a mere 42 percent said that they would purchase another. The aging Jeep Compass didn't do much better, with just 43 percent of drivers willing to buy the softroader again. On average, about 70 percent of owners say they would buy their car again, and only four cars ranked below 50 percent in CR's findings. Check out the video above to see some of the winners and losers in a few of CR's categories. If you're a subscriber, you can check out the full list on its website. 2014 Mazda3

Tue, 28 Jan 2014

Almost by definition, affordable compact cars aren't supposed to be fun. Sure, hot hatches get our blood pumping, but not long ago, the terms "compact car" and "economy car" could safely be used interchangeably. A key exception for the last decade has been the Mazda3, a car that has consistently delivered more dynamic thrills and tactile feedback than its contemporaries. Competitors have picked up their game significantly in recent years, however, leaving the Mazda3 wanting in several areas, including overall refinement, in-car technology and cabin appointments, so Mazda went back to the drawing board to create this all-new third-gen model for 2014.
Including this redesigned 2014 model, Mazda's recent crop of new products have targeted North America's hottest non-truck segments - compact car, midsize sedan and compact crossover/SUV. Yet it might be fair to call this launch the most important of them all, as the 3 remains the Japanese marque's best-selling vehicle. While America's pool of compact hatchbacks isn't exactly deep, the 2014 Mazda3 still has a challenging road ahead of it competing against two-box compacts that include the popular Ford Focus and recent additions like the all-new Kia Forte and the still-new Hyundai Elantra GT.

Mazda's slick new CX-4 crossover is sadly only for China

Tue, Apr 26 2016

Mazda just unveiled the CX-4 crossover at the Beijing Motor Show, introducing the sleek new crossover exclusively for the Chinese market. The CX-4 rides on the same wheelbase as the CX-5, and is just as wide. It even packs the same powertrain options: 2.0- or 2.5-liter inline fours from Mazda's Skyactiv-G series, mated to the same six-speed manual or automatic transmissions. It measures a little longer from bow to stern than the CX-5 (albeit shorter than the CX-7), but the key part here is that it's shorter in height – shorter even than the smaller CX-3 – thanks to its sleek coupe-like roofline. The resulting impediment to interior space may make little sense from a practical standpoint, but it sure does make it look good. Consider the CX-4, then, to bear a similar relationship to the CX-5 as the BMW X4 does to the X3, or the Coupe versions of the Mercedes GLC and GLE to their conventional counterparts – albeit with styling more similar to the Infiniti QX70, particularly at the back. The question is whether the US market is ready for a more budget-oriented five-door crossover coupe in the same way that it has embraced those more upscale offerings. Mazda doesn't seem to think so; at least not for the time being. For our part, looking at the CX-4, we're not so sure. What do you think? The CX-4 was made to exceed existing categories and stereotypes. The dynamic design is unmistakably KODO in form and the planted stance and sleek, coupe-like cabin combine to give the model an outstanding presence. Customers will appreciate the exceptional functionality and user-friendliness, including the ease of entering and exiting the vehicle and the flexible cargo space. With SUV-like ground clearance and Mazda's i-ACTIV AWD*2 all-wheel drive system, the CX-4 is ready to take on a wide range of road conditions and offers a combination of outstanding environmental and safety performance (Sustainable Zoom-Zoom) and a Jinba-ittai driving feel with excellent handling thanks to its low center of gravity.
