Very good condition with no rust.  No mechanical problems. Does not use any oil. First ten years of car's life was spent in Florida and then stored winters in Iowa
and Wisconsin.  Car has been owned by a Florida gal and older gentlemen and never abused.  It had the timing belt replaced at 120,000 miles and I had new spark plugs
and wires installed last summer, along with the coilover shocks.

Features:  Turbocharged by a Master Miata mechanic in Wisconsin, including intercooler and K&N filter system.  17 inch wheels with good tires and larger disc brakes. Flyn Miata Xtreme
coilover shocks. New Westco battery. New JVC HD radio with cd and ipod hookup with door and headrest speakers.  New H-4 headlights, front turn signal lenses,
Lexus-style taillights, LED third brake light.  Racing stripes were painted on-not vinyl. Included is a Newly painted HARDTOP with defroster and a zippered cover to
hang hardtop from ceiling or wall.  Also will include: Red water-resistant car cover, black tonneau cover, New front & rear sway bars( from Flyn Miata that I have not
installed).  I have most of the removed stock parts that have come off of vehicle and will include these with purchase.

Does have a three inch dent below right taillight and two dimples on trunk lid.  Interior condition is very good with small heat cracks in dash.  I showed my "Hot Tamale"
in a few car shows in southern Minnesota last summer; but I was up against Fords, Chevys, and Mopars.  Car has had A/C and power steering parts removed to make room for
the ZOOM-ZOOM ingredients.

2014 Mazda6: Introduction

An Extended Stay With The Sexy Six
The new-for-2014 Mazda6 sedan is more than just a pretty face. For Mazda, it marks the company's best effort yet at competing in the highly competitive midsize sedan segment, all the while staying true to the brand's core value of offering high levels of driver involvement above all. We certainly came away impressed after our first drive of the sleek Six in France last fall, and we knew right from the start that this would be a car we'd want to spend a lot of time with back here at home.
So with that in mind, the folks at Mazda graciously agreed to loan us the fully loaded Soul Red tester you see here for a one-year stay in the Autoblog long-term garage. Because of how important this car is to the segment, and to Mazda as a brand, we know there's going to be a lot to talk about it over the next 12 months. Right now, though, allow us to introduce you to the newest member of our long-term family.

Mazda has right mix to chase 120,000 more US sales

Wed, 05 Dec 2012

The Mazda MX-5 Miata was named to Car and Driver magazine's Ten Best list for the eighth year in a row and for the fourteenth time overall. The CX-5 tops or comes in as runner-up on every AOL Autos staff poll we take on compact crossovers. The Mazda3 is a perennial favorite among auto critics. That's three clear, unquestioned winners in the Mazda showroom. So, why does Mazda seem to struggle sometimes for recognition and clarity in the marketplace?
For that, I chatted with Mazda North American Operations President, Jim O'Sullivan, who has run the outfit since 2003. O'Sullivan, a former Ford sales and marketing executive who came to Mazda from Dearborn, MI when Ford owned a controlling stake in Mazda, is one of the quieter, but very menchy, leaders in the industry whose longevity in the job speaks to the stability of Mazda.

Mazda's new Mexican plant capacity rises to 230,000

Sat, 05 Jan 2013

After the turmoil of last year, 2013 is getting off to a much better start for Mazda. The company has issued a release indicating that the forthcoming plant in Salamanca, Mexico has had its production capacity raised even though it isn't scheduled to go online until March 2014. The original plans called for a 140,000-unit capacity, 90,000 of that allotted for the Mazda2 and Mazda3, the remaining 50,000 for a small car Mazda would build for Toyota that would be based on the Mazda2. The new plans call for raising that by 90,000 units to a total of 230,000 units within two years, by the end of March 2016, and it looks like it will all go toward Mazda production to satisfy growing demand for Skyactiv vehciles. The Mexican plant's opening will be the return of Mazda manufacturing to North America, after Mazda6 production was moved back to Japan last year.
More good news for the company is that it projects 10 billion yen ($114 million) in net income for the financial year that will end in March. That would be a welcome turnaround from the 100-billion-yen loss in the previous financial year, part of a series of three annual losses in a four-year span.
You'll find the press release with the factory update below.
