This a 1991 Mazda Miata, a car that I love and do not want to part with; however I must. I have owened this car for 3 years and have a clear title and all is good on that front. I drove this car everday and it is very reliable, and good on gas milage, always gets me about 106 miles with $10 of gas to give you an idea. I am selling this car there are items pictured that want to let go with it. Not pictured is a new clutch and throw away barings; does not need to be replaced just bought to prepare for the advent, a stainless clutch line and odd and end interior pieces like and extra center console , of course the Sparco seats and rear convetible top bonnet. I recently about two months ago replaced inner and outer tire rods, upper and lower ball joints and had alignment done, tires are good. Upgraded the brake system, crossed drilled rotors and pads. Coolant system flush done in Feburay. Oil changed one month ago and always done every three months.
I have an offer to all: I do paint and body work; I will offer to do all nessary paint and body to the car complete or a little at extra price. Good luck and Thank you. Please note: local pick up only; we will not be responsible for shipping the vechicle. Anymore questions please call 706-496-4012 and leave a message if I do not answer, otherwise your call will not get returned. ******** *Serious bidders only whom are confident to make a final sale************************************************************************************************************************** |

Mazda recalls 109k Tribute models for rust issue
Fri, 18 Apr 2014The Mazda Tribute is being hit with a similar recall as its platform-mate the Ford Escape underwent a few weeks ago. Mazda is recalling 109,000 Tributes from model years 2001 to 2004. On the trucks, the subframe can rust from road salt, potentially causing the lower control arm to detach. If this happens, a loss of steering control could occur.
Mazda is adding a reinforcement crossbrace for added strength on the affected models. The recall covers Tributes currently registered in or originally sold in 20 northern states and Washington, DC, where road salt is used.
The reinforcement braces aren't available yet to do the repair. Mazda will send a letter in May to owners of affected vehicles that will inform them of the problem, and a second letter telling them when the parts will be ready. Scroll down to read the full recall press release.
NHTSA releases updated Takata airbag recalled cars list, but it still has errors
Wed, 22 Oct 2014
Unfortunately, the government's list still contains errors.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued an updated list of vehicle models that it's urging owners to repair under the mushrooming Takata airbag inflator recall. The latest version adds vehicles from new automakers like Subaru and Ford that are missing from the original announcement, and it also removes erroneous entries from General Motors, leaving only the 2005 Saab 9-2X (a reskinned Subaru WRX), and the 2003-2005 Pontiac Vibe, a joint project with Toyota.
Mazda Hazumi concept presages next Mazda2
Fri, 21 Feb 2014Looks like Mazda's big Geneva Motor Show debut is actually something quite small. Teased here, the Hazumi concept "points the way to the future" for the brand's subcompact offering, the Mazda2. Details are slim as of this writing, but from what we can see in the image above, the Hazumi will use the same Kodo design language found on the Mazda3, Mazda6 and CX-5. We're big fans of this styling direction, so we fully expect the concept to be quite an attractive little number.
Hazumi means "bound" or "spring up" in Japanese, with Mazda saying this nomenclature is "particularly well-suited to a small car that appears to be bursting with energy." In other words, say goodbye to the friendly faced Mazda2 we've enjoyed since it launched in the United States in 2010. Instead, prepare for something decidedly more assertive, hopefully improving upon the already-great driving dynamics of the current subcompact. If we're honest, we can't wait.
Mazda will also use the Geneva show to debut its new small-displacement, 1.5-liter Skyactiv-D diesel engine. The automaker hasn't confirmed that this new fuel-efficient powerplant will be part of the Hazumi concept package, but considering the two are debuting alongside each other, it would seem to make sense. As for whether or not this engine could come stateside when the next Mazda2 launches, we're not holding our breath for that, especially considering the company's current woes with US-spec diesel engines.
