Car has some light stains on interior. Will shampoo interior for buy it now price or upon request. Engine runs well, alignment seems good, transmission is very smooth. The transmission was last serviced at 70,000 miles, and engine tune up at Lester Glenn Mazda dealer in Toms River NJ. Oil changed every 3k miles, newer air filter, battery is from 2011 should get at least 2 more years out of battery. Engine is clean no known mechanical or electrical issue except noise since owning it from 2009 current. Think front bumper was replaced before I bought it. Thanks"

This is a 2007 Mazda CX7with 73,650 it runs well, good alignment, smooth transmission recently serviced and tuned up. Has nice tires, good battery, engine is clean, and is a very attractive car overall. Does have some wear small ding in door, some rock chips, some random light scratches, and some heavier scratches on rear bumper and a small dent on bottom of rear passenger door. Interior is clean overall some light stains on seats but can be shampooed if requested. Rear driver taillight has a some fog build up. Over all standing back a few feet car looks very clean and nice if you look close you will see the scratches & some rock chips. It has a slight rattle under hood its been like that since I bought it in 2009 never had a problem with Engine, Transmission or any type of Electrical system. When I got it said it was towed on car fax. Believe the front bumper was replaced. Overall nice car, fun to drive and reliable with everything working. Watch a high-speed chase from a motorcycle-mounted officer's point of view

Sat, 13 Apr 2013

Riding a motorcycle through high traffic can be a stressful experience. And we don't even want to imagine what it's like to have to actually pursue someone on a motorcycle. Fortunately, we don't have to. Officer Troy Gurley of the Florence, Alabama police force recently attempted to stop a vehicle for traffic violations. The driver, 24-year-old Justin Sanders, figured he could use his Mazda3 to outrun the bike cop. Turns out, not so much.
Gurley pursued Sanders for nearly five minutes as the Mazda driver ran stop signs, swerved through traffic and raced through residential neighborhoods, but the perpetrator couldn't shake the tenacious and experienced rider. Other units soon joined the pursuit, and Sanders thought it best to leave the protection of his car to attempt to flee on foot. From there, it didn't take officers long to apprehend him. You can watch the video below for yourself.

Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards

Fri, 22 Feb 2013

The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.

Mazda CEO predicts record US sales in next 2 years

Mon, 18 Nov 2013

The recently appointed CEO of Mazda is apparently quite the optimist, claiming that the Japanese brand, renowned for its Zoom-Zoom driving character (and more recently its sleek, refined designs and Skyactiv efficiency), is claiming the company will record its best-ever US sales within the next two years. According to a report from Automotive News, Masamichi Kogai expects Mazda to move 400,000 of its Kodo-styled vehicles in the increasingly competitive US market by March 2016, with the recently launched Mazda3 leading the charge. "It will impacted considerably by the trend of the U.S. industry. But... it's my hope we achieve the record by that time," Kogai tells AN.
The brand is currently targeting 300,000 units by the end of this fiscal year in March 2014. Given that production and sales of the Mazda3 (and consumer awareness of the 2014 Mazda6) is still picking up steam, it isn't a stretch to imagine Mazda, which sold 240,000 vehicles from January to October of 2013, hitting its target.
Along with the overall increase in sales numbers, Kogai is expecting the independent brand to take an even larger slice of the US sales pie, claiming 2.5 percent US market share, improving from its current 1.9-percent foothold so far in 2013. "I think the upper limit may be 2.5 percent for the time being," Kogai told AN, before pointing out, "We don't want to use a lot of incentives. That is not the sales approach we aspire toward."
